How in the world do I get that last trophy that's says I have to place 30 link portals? I've gone around the worlds and placed them down everywhere but my reports still say I've placed zero. Plus no one here does street pass ever so I can't link with them via street pass. How can I get that trophy?!?

You have to complete all special and secret portals to get that

Edit: oops it seems I missed which portal trophy you were talking about.

The game autocompletes them after certain time amount of time like everyone else has said.

I think the game auto completes them for you after a certain amount of hours, but im not too sure

You just have to place portals somewhere. Then, the game should complete them for you after some time.

I also didn't manage to get this trophy... You have to place portals and wait for some time? Just that?

After how much time does the game autocomplete the portal trophy? (hours, days, etc?)

You place 30 portals, you can only send either 4 or 5 at a time, a friend near you will connect via wireless and use that portal in their battles, it has been spread that you can place them and then just wait a few hours and it'll auto complete itself, I placed the portals and left my game sitting on charge for about a day and a half, and all my portals were still there, unused.  

In the international versions at least, you must be able to streetpass with someone. I've heard that the autocompletion hint was in the Ultimania (and may work in the JP version), so this may very well be another (big) glitch that the game is infamous for.

I've seen a lot of forums and posts about it working. If it is a glitch, it's a damn useful one. Some people don't have access to streetpass, or in my case, no one anywhere near them has a copy of the game (that I can tell since I've never streetpassed with anyone).

Sorry this is late, but I've just started using my 3DS again with street pass.

 

Does the person you street pass have to have 3D themself of just be a regular street pass?

I wanted to get all trophies, but since no one near me has a copy of 3D i can't get the damn portal. I think i have to go over to friend Chris's house and street pass their if i get the chance, since he's the only person i know besides me who has 3D.
