In the Year 2030 the technology was created to make the gaming world real. This Technologey was called Beta Version. it was a gate into the world known as Beta. This world was a place where people created their personal look and chose their class, Spell Caster, Warrior, Ninja, Fighter, ect... they could come and go freely but one day something terrible happened. The Beta Version Malfuntioned and shut itself down. trapping those inside and keeping people from being inside. for it to take 30 years to build it would take far longer to recreate.

 

The people within the Beta Version would have to fight for their lives and live in this world till they could escape. luckly the Creator was in the world at that time and with the help of the Moderators they continued to create the world as if it were real life only with monsters, quests, magic, and a story line. The people in the Beta version were apart of the DataScape and other than being able to control themselves within it were no longer existant in the real world so they bonded together and built up families of their own. They acted like it was normal to live within the Datascape, But then one day something dark happened. new Creatures began to show up but without the control of the creator. nobody knew what was happening but they had to fight to survive in this time a group of people teamed up and formed the Debug Core. this group took out the creatures on a weekly basis.

"Do you think we'll see Echo again, Xio?" Luna asked, fallowing closely behind.

"Oh, do you want me to call you by your real name, or do you rather want to keep that name private?" she asked.

After all, she did know Xio's and Echo's name.

"Keep it private and im positive we will see echo or i swear i will take this gun" he said un holsterig one of the 2 guns and putting it to his head "and kill myself" he told them before reholstering the gun.

 

An hour passed and xio stopped infront of a massive canyon. There was a thick fog eminating from the rocky walls. Infront of the group sat frey. He had a little camp set up and was digging through a large chest. He seemed pervertedly excited

"You better not kill yourself Xio...you don't even need to talk like that." Luna snapped.

Seeing Frey her attitude changed and she quickly hid behind Xio.

"Hi Frey." she barely mummered.

Frey turned and jumped immediatly closing and locking the chest "hehe hey there everyone" he said. "Morning Luna" he said with a smile

I waved as Skull growled again and I had to tell him to stop in wolf talk. I walked over to the edge of the canyon and stared down into the abyss. You certainly couldn't see anything down there...

Xio nodded to Frey "Luna i told him that if he touches you he will have his head chopped off so dont worry about him, but just to be on the safe side lets not find out what he has in the chest" he told her before turning to Zero "Yes i know thats cause for some odd reason the canyon produces that fog. thus its called the F.O.G. Zone or the Fog of War. it is a miltary battle tactic that is used by stationed units with long distance attacks being placed at the top of the canyon after the opposing army heads into it. one unit within the fog will become bait for the attack and once the entire army is in the fog they attack. the bait unit has a rope tied around his or her waist and is pulled out of the canyon just before the attack." said Xio. "Echo and I barley escaped with our lives. the rest of the units werent so lucky."

"Huh..." I still stared down into the abyss still thinking if I remember anything... Nope not even a clue...

"that battle was 15 years ago" said Xio "two armys formed because of the beta version shutting everyone in. nobody knew what to do and began to fight over how they were going to live. it was a sad day but desipte that battle. in the end i had been promoted to general and for the the final battle i led my troops to victory in the battle of the Scorpion Heat" said Xio "echo was my Lieutenant"

Luna listened to Xio's conversation.

"15 years ago? Xio, you couldn't have been in that battle. You were far too young to fight." she said.

Luna walked up to him and looked him in the eye, dead serious.

"What is your true age, game master?" she asked, crossing her arms.

"Ah but thats the thing. I was the one who built the beta version and as data we dont age in here" said Xio. "Im 19 and as far as i know i will stay this old. Vierno must have said something about being in here because he didnt want to die in the real world. right. he was around his 60's right?. well that was at least 30 years ago"

Luna gave a slight nod, turning to the abyss.

"So we don't age here?" she asked.

"nope never have never will" said Xio "if you can get enough gold you can change your appearance tho"

I realized now the fact that we didn't age here not even skull... But I then wondered...why would you change your own appearance? Isn't that like hiding from the truth? Well I guess I'm the one to talk I've been hiding from things many times...even to this day but never mind that... I turned around to everyone else, "So where are we headed?"

"You were staring at our destination. Somewhere inside there is echo and the mist dragon. Lets hope we can draw the dragons blood and get echo to touch it." Said Xio. He handed luna the end of a rope and 2 to zero. One for hi and skull. "Frey will be coming with us too" he said as he tied a few knots around his waist with plenty of rope to spare. "This way we wont get lost."

"I figured as much..." i said then I tied the rope around me and then tied one around Skull's body. Skull growled at the abyss, he didn't have a good feeling about this....

'Xio is leading us through an endless mist tied to a rope....I feel like a little kid...' Luna thought with a slight sigh.

"Do you want us to tie ourselves to the rope, Xio?" she asked, clueless.

"You can tie yourself to the rope, yes. Or you can get eternally lost your choice"

"Ok next is probably the harder part. How do we get down?" I asked looking back down again....

"We jump" said xio

"Sounds like a plan to me." I said bending down to pet Skull, telling him the plan in wolf talk. As I did he didn't mind...maybe because we would jump into abysses all the time...

Luna flinched a bit before tieing herself up.

"Sorry..." she sighed.

"Sorry about what?" Asked xio

I stared back down into the abyss wondering how deep it was and where on earth this mist dragon was... However not only it's name made it show hard to fight but this mist... This one would be a tough one...

"I should have tied myself up in the first place." Luna sighed.

She suddenly came to a realization of the fact they were going to jump.

She slightly tensed up a bit and tighten the rope, stepping a bit closer to Xio.

"Okay...." she sighed, really hesitatant.

Xio smiled "ok lets go" he said as he walked down the slope towards lower ground. He looked back at the others "well did you think i was serious about jumping? No we would die! We are just simply gonna walk in" he said
