I was just talking to some people about Pokemon, and touching some parts of the B/W2 storyline were, and this girl logs on and tells us that we're really stupid for actually reading the storyline and not cheating our way to the end. So then went on to brag how she cheated her way through the game in just one day to grab White and Black Kyurem and that 'only losers actually read the stuff lmfao'

 

Someone. Please help help me. Please tell me you all actually care about your games and read the story instead of cheating and mashing the A button.

To me, one of the best parts of a game is the story.

Admittedly, I completed Black in three days, but I still took in the whole story and read everything, spoke to everyone, found as many items as I could... Then I restarted 'cause I felt bad for rushing.

 

Not completed Black 2 yet though, taking my time with it. Just gotta do the E4 now.

 

But yeah, anyone who just rushes through the games probably shouldn't have bothered buying them in the first place.

I have never done that. Even when I replay games I still watch most of the cutscenes.

That's exactly what I did with both White and White 2, so I'm in the process of a new White 2 save file, just hanging out at PokeStar Studios for a while. Hey, free items.

I understand. I use to get pissed at my brother, because he would skip the scenes in game just to play the game, but after a while I just realized it shouldn't bother me. If he wants to miss out on a great story, that's all on him. I'll just continue to enjoy it myself.

I care for the story a lot.

It even kills me when I want to switch my Pokèmon and train my new ones right after the Opelucid Gym. ;n;
