Setting:

This takes place in a world that is a mix of medieval and modern times, where sword clashes with gun and magic faces lasers. Nothing is impossible and everything is probable. Keep in mind this RP is very similar to Final Fantasy that includes technology, magic, and items.

 

Story:

In the midst of a civil war and new threat steps forward. A third force enters the battle with and army of undead warriors. A group of brave warriors rise up and conquer this force of walking dead and end the civil war but learn a truth behind it all when it is only a little too late.

 

Layout:

Start the story where ever you wish but I want everyone to eventually congregate together (Depending if you’re good or bad.). Some of us will be on the west side of the country’s civil war (Arcadians) and some will be on the east side (Aspirians). Then the army of the undead is led by 11 spirit guardians, said to be protecting bits and pieces of a spirit that belonged to an extremely powerful paladin from many centuries ago. After the guardians are killed off, the final foe will be remade. Because we defeated the guardians he was reborn and is as evil as ever. Of course we take him out.

Magic Casting System:

In this role play characters don’t just simply cast magic they have to say aloud what they are casting.

e.g.: Matt said “Thundaga!” and a jolt of lightning shot from the sky.

The reason for this is to further explain the spell ‘Mute’. Anyone who has played Final Fantasy knows what mute does. It causes a status effect so the effected character can’t use magic. So when someone is muted they can’t say the spell in order to cast it. Make sense?

 

Rules:

• Be creative.
• Be descriptive.
• Have fun.
• Don’t let the RP die.
• Do not kill off others characters without permission.
• Do not control others characters without permission.

Start where you wish but eventually every good guy need to gradually group together. This RP will follow the layout of Final Fantasy. All 11 Gaurdians will eventually die of course. And magic starts at low level and people work your way up. Have fun and be creative.

 

[Drake & Ryu]

Drake and Ryu continue walking the path ahead of them. Both seemed a little exauhsted.

"Seems like he got away! Again!" Drake exclaimed. Drake and Ryu were chasing the theif who stole Drake's mother's amulet for the second time. "I can't beleive I lost him twice!"

"It's okay." Ryu smiled. "We'll get it back, Drake." Drake nodded and they continued.

 

[Zephyr]

Off in the shadows near by Drake and Ryu. "Hee Hee Hee......Seems like such a nice boy...."

[‘‘God...tell that woman to shut up...I can't illusionate right now...Ya know if she wants to know where I am, I'll just go find her...’’] Yumiko said to Maria with telepathy, running around looking for Maria, soon enough finding her again.

Yumiko turned to Romelia.

"Hey, Shut your mouth I can here you over Maria's mind. I'm the telepathy girl jerk face. What do you want?" Yumiko asked aloud staring Romelia down.

"Nothing. Although now you're here, I can dispose of you." Romelia said, swinging her staff at Yumiko's face. Maria jumped up and blocked the staff with her poniard. "Leave her alone!" Maria exclaimed. "Coming to the rescue? Do you want a medal?" Romelia teased. "Don't be a smart-ass." Maria replied. "Very well. I will leave you now. Be warned though. Stay five minutes in the forest, and it will consume you..." Romelia said before walking down the path to Conga Canyon.

"Well what did she want?" Yumiko asked with a sigh.

"Sorry to ruin your day, I'll be heading back now." she said, walking another path tp Conga Canyon, and soon arriving.

Yumiko opened her door, slamed it shut and locked it, lighting candles up in her house and locking the windows as Storm came and sat on her lap.

(``Miss, you're bleeding``) Storm used his special telepathy on Miko.

"I know Storm..." she said, watching the blood drain from her shoulder.

"I'm going to bed goodnight..." Yumiko yawned after wrapping her arm up in bandages.

"Mom!" Maria called. "Mom! Are you okay?" "It's that woman!" A man's voice said. "She tried to kill us!" A little girl voice exclaimed. "Wait! The person you're after is in Conga Canyon!" Maria yelled. Maria charged into her house, and then her room. "I swear. People can be so idiotic sometimes! They can't see I'm not wearing the same clothes as her?" Maria hopped into bed for the night, dreaming of Riezer, Romelia and Yumiko. Even herself.

(Didn't finish my last post. I had to take my little bro somewhere, and got home very late. We had to walk. Meh.)

 

 

Romelia sat down on the ground at Conga Canyon. "If I could upgrade my staff, I could possibly get this all over with. No matter what happens, I won't go down easily..."

Malvar was close to where Patrox, Drake and Ryu were and soon noticed they were fighting. "Oh, come on." said Malvar as he sent his troops back to their respected areas and ran over to help. "Patrox, why is it whenever I leave you alone for a few minutes, you end up in a fight?" asked Malvar. "Hey, don't look at me, this happened after I ran into those two!" said Patrox, gesturing to Drake and Ryu.

Ryu rubbed the back of his head after Patrox said what he said and the giant undead warrior fell in the background and Drake landed next to Ryu. "I wonder where they're all coming from?" 

 

A great wind rushed based them nearly knocking Ryu off his feet.

Maria woke up the next morning. "Now, to find mom!" she exclaimed as she ran down the stairs. "Get ready, guardians! I'm coming!" Maria hurried over over Maple Forest. The place used to be happy, but now it was filled with evil. Maria kept to the path as she searched for her mom, and the guardians. "I remember this place. I was born here, but now since dad's gone...because of those filthy guardians, I won't rest!"

 

 

(Romelia, Imperial City)Romelia came across a small boy playing in the trash-can she always saw everytimes she entered the city. Bringing out her staff, she walked over. The boy appeared to be scared in place. She smashed the boy with her staff, and the trash-can fell over, with him in it. He crawled out and ran off. Romelia scoffed. She gave chase only to be approached by two large men. "We heard of your mischievous daily times here, miss!" One said. "Now, get out, or we will put you down!" the other said. "Oh, really?" Romelia asked. "Yes," the first said. "Fine. Try me." Both men charged over and grabbed Romelia by the arms. "Let me go you big brutes!" she yelled. "There's no escape, darling!" The second said. "I knew you would say that. That's why I faked it." "Say what?" The two men both said. Romelia punched both of them face, letting her out of the grasp. She battered them both with her staff until they retreated. "And they say men are strong! Who's the liar?" she replied to herself.

 

 

(Very long post this time.)

Patrox and Malvar ran over towards Drake and Ryu when the wind knocked Ryu over. "Hey, are you alright?" asked Patrox. Malvar was waiting for a reply, but soon felt uneasy. Being a general, he was trained to tell when danger was near, just like other generals. "Guys, get him to his feet, I have the feeling we're gonna have trouble, we have to get to the Imperial City, it's fortified enough....let's go." said Malvar.

Romelia walked through the City. "The only thing fun here is to kill," she said. "And that's already fun." "You see, you don't go near strangers!" a woman's voice lectured. "Okay, mommy!" a young girl promised. Romelia had the perfect setup. "Now. That kid won't bug me anymore!" When the mother left, Romelia came after the girl. The girl turned and tried to stab Romelia with a knife. Romelia grabbed the knife and the girl cried. "Security!" she yelled. Three more men attacked Romelia. "Is that all?" Romelia moaned. She threw the knife and it slashed and stuck into a man's chest, and blood poured out. Romelia picked up the girl and jumped up a building. She placed the girl atop a tower on the building, the girl dangling from her left foot. "Don't come up after me, or the girl gets it!" Romelia called. "MISS! Miss Petunia! Don't hurt her!" One of the men shouted. "If you want her to be fine, then come up, hero!" Romelia laughed. "I guess we have no choice. We must tell Petunia's mother!" The same man sighed as he ran back with his fellow. "Exactly..." Romelia smiled. "Princess Petunia!" "Wha?!" "It looks like you're going to be my friend! And don't forget to meet my friend; Death! He's a good man." "NO! LET ME GO!" Petunia shouted at the top of her lungs. "If you don't shut up, you'll meet him sooner!" Romelia threatened. "Okay..." Petunia quieted down. "Much better!" The silence and the deep, heavy breathing of Petunia were left.

before they even got Ryu to his feet , wind began to circle them. leaving them in the eye of a tornado. "im sorry but you guys arent going anywhere!!!" a guardian appeared. it was Zephyr. 

 

Ryu finally got to his feet and was shaking with fear. "oh, crap..."

"why do you look so fimiluar?" Zephyr said under his breath to Ryu.

"its you!" Drake exclaimed. "your the theif! wheres my mothers a

mulate?"

"Halt stranger, as a general of the Arcadian forces, i must inform you that you are standing on Arcadian ground, if you do not state who you are, and what your business is, i am authorized to use force." said Malvar as he prepared to draw his sword if he needed to. "And speak truthfully, the general may be patient enough to hear your side of the story, but, if you're lying, i won't be as forgiving." said Patrox.

Maria saw Ryu, Drake, Malvar and Patrox. "Um...hey guys!" she said. She noticed Zephyr. "Who are you?" She asked everyone. "Who are you guys?"

Storm climbed up on Yumiko and started nudgeing her face.

(``Yumiko. Wake up it's late.``) Storm used telepathy on Yumiko. Yumiko groaned and hid her head with her pillow.

"Leave me alone..." she said, hiding her eyes from the light, kicking Storm off of her.

(``Yumiko!``) Storm hissed.

"Shut up cat..." Yumiko said, slowly leaning up as she begun to get ready for the day.

-Brendan-

Phew... finally... Maple Town. He said as looking at the place. A common place with a some kind of spiral tree in middle. It was almost night time. Mmmm looks like I need some place to rest huh? Then he began to walk on the town. Finally he reached an Inn. He entered, but then he bean to listen:

 

"-I´m telling you! the forest is haunted! I saw it with my own eyes, a big tree moving! 

-Really... well you know... the legends says a Guardian resides there so..."

 

A Guardian? Brendan Thinked for a second... Mmmm must be a god chance...  

Drake looked over at the girl who walked up. "you should get out of here."

winds shot over towards Malvar and it grabbed him like a giant hand wrapped around him. "i dont need to answer to you!"

"Thanks goodness." Iuvenis muttered. After his long trek, he had finally reached Elm Town. Wiping his brow, he trudged over to the nearest person, but before he could so, the man simply walked away. Iuvenis went to the next person- and the person did the same thing.

I get the distinct impression I'm not welcome here. Iuvenis thought, sighing. He took out the paper again, reading it. "Yay...got to find some random bandit...without any help whatsoever. Lovely."

"I guess you don't help!" Maria said as she pressed onward the dark forest. She swore she saw a tree move. "The hell...?" she mumbled.

 

 

Romelia grabbed Petunia and jumped off the building with her in hand. "Hey! Here's your stinking girl back!" She shouted while abandoning Petunia. She left for Maple Forest once again.

 

"Hello once again, Maria." The words froze Maria like ice. "What are you doing back here?" "I just thought you were lonely, so I came to cheer you up!" Romelia responded. "Do you know anything about the moving trees?" Maria asked. "What? No! Must be your imagination!" Romelia lied.

Malvar was struggling to get loose from the wind, while Patrox managed to get closer to Zephyr. "Hey, look, we don't want any trouble around here, just tell us what you're doing here, and maybe, we'll leave you to your own way." said Patrox.

Zephyr laugh insanely "BwaHahahaha!!!!! I just you all to cower down before me!!! None of you have anything that i want, excepted one DID have something i wanted." Zephyr pulled out Drake's amulet. 

"You saunava-" Drake charged at Zephyr. "You dirty theif!" Drake tried to attack him but a wind wall rose up between the two and then it knocked Drake back after a short pause.

Ryu stood back covering his mouth queivering. "Drake!" Ryu ran over and pulled out his staff and began to heal Drake "Cure!" he casted the magic and Drake stood to his feet.

"Thanks Ryu." He smiled then turned to Zephyr with a serius look apon his face but Zephyr on the other hand was smiling. "None of you stand a chance."

"I bet you're lying!" Maria shouted. "Who said I'm lying?" Romelia bashed Maria's head with her staff, leaving a scratch and a little blood remain. "Ow! You-You-You JERK!" Maria slashed Romelia's left arm, but Romelia countered with her staff, hitting Maria, leaving more wounds on her body. "Face it, 'Child'. Your life force will soon be mine and the forest." "That may be so, but I won't give up!" Maria jumped onto a tree. "You pathetic little fool..." The tree wrapped a branch around Maria's body, like a rope, and it ended around Maria's mouth. "Okay. Time out! Firaga!" Romeia cast a fire spell and Maria fell free, though still tangled in the branch. "I've got myself a better hostage." Romelia grabbed and heaved Maria over her shoulder and took her to Imperial City.

When Romelia and Maria got to Imperial City, a clank of a gun was heard behind them. Standing behind them was Officer Nash with her gun aimed at Romelia. "Romelia, drop the girl." Officer Nash said in a hateful tone. "Thats right, I know who both of you are. Drop the girl and you can go free for now. That girl is ordered for capture and arrest by the police department of Imperial City!" Nash exclaimed.

"It was Riezer's idea," Romelia lied. She hid Maria behind her. "Riezer?" Maria wondered. Romelia kicked Maria in the face to shut her up. "If you're wondering, he's not in the City, but in the wilderness. Last time I saw him he was in Elk Village. And what girl? Me, or this girl?" Romelia asked.

"Hey, listen, we're all exhausted, i was in a battle at the fort in Aspiria, these three were fighting off undead creatures, just let us go so we can get our strength back, and we'll kill ya next time, does that sound fair?" asked Malvar. "Yeah, even someone like you has to have honor, valor, and above all, humanity, i know what you are, and your kind must show honor, so just let us go and rest." said Patrox.

"I know where Riezer is. I sorta put a tracker on his sword earlier this morning. Now that girl you have there, Maria, is the number two fugitive of this city, next to our number one Riezer. If you will just hand the girl over to me, I will allow you the honor of getting off the hook for today." Nash said. She kept her gun locked just in case something went wrong.
