Everyone receives a letter.

 

Dear Contestant,

You have been accepted to compete in this year’s Omni verse Grand Tournament!

The victor will be titled strongest fighter in existence and will gain a power that none has ever had. The battles will be completely random, the winners of each match will be moved up to the next round and the matches will be randomized once more. This sequence will continue till the end of the tournament. Everyone will stay one our ground and sleep in dorms that will hold four people each. Later in the tournament you will be moved to more isolated dorms once others are sent to the loser’s brackets. The losers of each match will battle in a sub-tournament to reinsure who is the greatest. Everyone should be able to face everyone in this tournament. If you feel that you have not fought everyone by the end of this tournament, please speak to the tournament host and referee, Elite.

Rules:

1)   Stay in the ring

2)   If you are down for longer than the count of ten you loose

3)   No battling outside of the arena

4)   If a battle ends in a draw, I will test your stamina other ways

5)   Don’t piss me off

Silver nodded once, placing down his bit of munny.

"My bet is on that other guy. He's using the Organization's weapons. Heh, brings me back...wonder if Xigbar still hates me after I planted my boot in his face."

Silver smiled, giving Neena a glance.

"Oh, and sorry about my behavior earlier...I can be like that." Silver sat straighter,his grey eyes examining the fight.

Sorry, I don't want this topic to get berried in the other threads.

Jason looked around. Lances were encircling him, fused with ice. He's trying to keep me at a distance... he can only do that for so long... Jason began moving quickly as the lances each lunged at him, dodging them each with skill and precision. One last one came at him, and he threw one of his blades into the air and reached for the lance. "Darkness." His fist was coated in black flames, and he grabbed the lance. With the icy coldness of the lance not affecting him, he tossed it to the ground, and then caught his own light blade. He stabbed it into the ground. "Light." Light pulsed from the blade into the ground, and blue explosions shot out of the earth, heading towards Daxam.

Neena continued to watch the fight, while still continuing the conversation. "No problem. I get like that too sometimes." she said nonchalantly. "But you said that you know these weapons? If you end up facing him, that would give you a terrible advantage." If Silver had fought against the same weapons, that meant Daxam was a mimic. Or, Silver had fought against those who had taken the weapons from him? Unlikely, but possible.

Frustrated and absolutely in raged he sat down against the wall far away from everyone except the armor which kneeled against the ground no more than ten feet away. 'Honor my ass I hate that damn word. Honor only gets your ass kicked that or constantly bites you because you want it so badly.' Letting out a huff he watched the fight allowing a small bit of blood to drip from where his finger nails dug fiercely into his wrists. 'At least I can figure out what to do against my foe when I find out who they are that is.' No one would bother him for a while. Which gave him time to thing of his next victim. 'Now who should I bother next?'

"Hm. Well that's is finished..." Yuka said with a sigh, taking her hand off her gun.

She turned to the little boy who just burned her internally a little while ago and carefully approached him.

"Hey, I'm Yuka. Um...did you lose control of your powers or do that intentually? Please don't do that again." she said repectively.

Silver watched the fight with intent, examining the moves, everything. The 'mimic' as he put it, was someone he felt he understand quickly.

He uses the Organization's weapons. I already have been with -and betrayed- them once. I know their moves, styles, and weapons.

He looked to Neena, shrugging, "Perhaps so. I have once fought with...then against the Organization. I know them quite well, and have defeated several of them." Silver expression turned dark, remembering details from the past.

"But that, was long ago. Back when Incarceron was mighty."

I looked back and turned to the girl I had internally burned a few minutes ago. She seemed calm towards me, if she kept that up nothing would get out of hand. "Huh? Oh yeah, that's when I couldn't control it. Some magic I can, others I can't..." I told Yuka then released a chilly and cold sigh of ice and frost. "As long as my emotion's under control, my powers will. I'm sorry for that happening, Yuka..." I explained to Yuka, then greeted myself. "Oh right, my name's Joshua Akira. Or Josh is fine."

"A pleasure, Joshua." Yuka gave a slight nod and a smile.

She was polite to those who were nice to her, but Ace was nice at first and then betrayed her.

"Who do you think will win, Josh? I'm not betting on anything, but this is interesting." she said, observing the battle.

"Crap!" I say as I jump into the air and switch to Graceful Dahlia and summon a storm of rose petals around Jason, binding him.

 

"Your heart will be scattered!"

(this fight is moving pretty slow...)

Elite looked down upon the fighters and observing there movements, looking for flaws that would ultimately lead to there doom. 'i have a good feeling who may win this battle' he thought silently. He also eavesdropped on literally every word spoke in the audience...

I smiled with Yuka's kind hospitality. "I haven't paid much attention to the fighting, but I think it might turn out better for him." I said as I pointed to the man named Jason. I began to watch the fight a bit more. I think it would go his way, but I was unsure. I then sighed, "I wonder who I'm going to be forced to fight. Hopefully not you, or Garry..." I said as I glanced over to Garry. "If I do, I'll probably end up with my blood magic activating again..."

(this fight is moving pretty slow...)

OOC: I know and at this rate whoever strikes the next blow should be declared the winner so we can move on. Just an idea.

(Good idea. I'm still wondering who Ace will fight next as it is.)

"I hope to God I'm not next...that would be terrible. I'd lose, obviously..." Yuka said with a sigh, turning and giving a long gaze at Ace, then focusing back at the fight.

 

 

(sorry for the short post, my mind is empty right now µ_µ)

His posture showed anger and defiance to anyone glancing him but honestly he felt like crap right now. 'It's not my fault she took it like she did. It's a touchy subject for me just like she has a few of her own. So why the hell did she frustrate me so much?!' Mind racing he turned toward Yuka giving her a 'This is all your fault you know. Just wait till later on' look before turning his head to watch the fight. Plans were brewing for the unfortunate person who would go against him.

(Sorry guys. Haven't been on much because my internet has been shit.)

 

Jason was bound by the rose petals around him. "Darkness!" Black flames exploded around his body, and the petals were incinerated. Jason looked at Daxam. Okay, let's end this quickly... I've seen his skills long enough. Jason dismissed his blades and continued walking forward. He was almost at Daxam now. "Darkness." Jason sunk into a black hole in the ground and vanished. Before anyone had time to react, Jason was behind Daxam, and grabbed him by the back of his head, lifting him up.

 

"Burn."

 

Black flames encased his hand, and Jason blasted a dark fireball while holding him. Daxam flew across the arena from an explosion of black fire.

(I can't blame you baylaust. My internet has been a little bad too. It is okay with me that you were gone, don't worry about it ^_^)

 

 

"And...it looks like we have a winner. Interesting...very interesting." Yuka claimed, staring at Jason, and then Daxam.

‘Note to self...don't enforce your entire body into an attack, stand your ground.’ she thought.

(Ace is screwed if he goes against you.)

Watching Daxam fly across the arena his expression turned into one of a frown. Jason was not an average foe you'd normally expect even on his standards. The control he possessed was all but amazing in his eyes. "Darkness is what most of them use to fight with a variety of lower branches of magic like fire. That means a few of them could use light to if they wanted to." Finally he had a connection even if it would be harder to use with what they used themselves.

I watched as Daxam flew across the ring. "I might be able to win, and I might lose. Either way, I still don't really want to.fight him either." I said as I continued watching. "If you don't mind me asking, Yuka, what happened between you and Ace? You two seem pretty tense."

(I still think I've got the best chance here...)

 

Neena winced as Daxam went flying. "That looked like it hurt." she said. "You might be owing me pretty soon." She continued to listen to Silver's story, while the watching the now faster-paced fight ensue. He mentioned fighting an Organization. And siding with something called Incarceron. "Could you mind giving me a taste of what you're story is like? At the very least tell what/who the Organization and Incarceron are?" she spoke questioningly. This'd be a good way to figure out some of his powers besides having a keyblade. And she was curious.

(Lol. I want to see Ace go against Neena. That would be interesting.)

Something was setting him on edge. It wasn't the participants either. "So Elite or whatever is spying on the lot of us? Of boy I'm gonna figure out a way to stop that one." A devious smile appeared on his face almost a little to out there. It was obvious he had a plan. So far from his actions it also gave away what it usually meant to do. Which is why his plans worked so well as it was. They knew it was coming so they couldn't stop it.

The pain...I felt the dark flames lick my body but I wasn't going to give up just yet...

 

I slowly stood up. Faking a grin.

 

"Analysis complete."

 

My hands extended and out came two red Ethernal Blades ad with them the power of Nothingness.

 

I rushed Jason and presented an afterimage only to appear behind him.

 

I grabbed him and stabbed my blades through his body before switching to one of his light blades and one Ethernal Blade.

 

I rose into the air and released a ball of nothingness that enveloped the arena.

 

All around Jason I summoned an infinite amount of his own light blades around him and aimed.

 

"This is it!" I said and fired.

(Jesus...)

 

Jason was on one knee, breathing heavily. He held where he had been stabbed. He looked around him as seemingly endless blades of light surrounded him. He had been caught off guard, and was on his last legs. But Jason knew Daxam was, too. I've saved worlds... I've fought off hordes of thousands of Nobodies... I've destroyed an Organization... "You... won't... win... I promise you..." Jason was on his feet again, though clearly not in good shape. I just need to get to him...

 

Jason watched as the blades of light all shot towards him. Jason punched the ground with force, and a blast of dark fire exploded around him. All of the blades around him were blasted away. Jason looked up and saw Daxam in the air, as well as more blades coming towards him. "I've destroyed an Organization before... I'll do it again... if I have to..."

 

Jason made a powerful leap into the air, embers of darkness where he had jumped. He spun and evaded in the air, dodging the blades that flew at him. One grazed his leg mid jump, sending another wave of pain through him, but he continued towards Daxam. One last blade flew at him, and Jason spun in the air, grabbing it by the hilt mid flight. Jason flew past Daxam, slashing through him.

 

The nothingness faded from the arena and Daxam fell to the ground. Jason landed on the ground as well, but his legs buckled shortly afterwards. Both of them were on opposite ends of the arena, on their knees, breathing heavily.

 

(It'll come down to who's willing to give in first, or if there's another way to settle it.)

(Yeah. I personally want to advance but I don't want to be biased. )

 

I was breathing heavy. It was taking all my strength just to prevent myself from fading away.

 

I weakly raised one hand and summoned three light blades. I aimed them at Jason's chest and sent them at full speed with all the remaining force I could muster.
