Guys, I have a question. So, I recently got a PS3, and for some reason, my dad always (even before I bought the PS3) seemed to take an interest in Red Dead Redemption, just based of what he saw of it in advertisements, at stores, etc, and now he's seriously considering buying it. Now, I know this game has gotten fantastic reviews in the past, but my dad is a huge n00b toward video games. Don't get me wrong, I love my father to death, but saying he's new to video games is an understatement. As in, he couldn't figure out the tutorial in the KH3D demo. (Me- "Dad, it says to lock on to the tentacles." Dad- "But why? I'm confused.") (Plays Lego Harry Potter, says- "What am I shooting right now?" Me- "I don't know, you're just shooting in random directions.") (Me, I don't remember what game he was trying- "Dad, you need to jump." Dad-"Why would I want to do that?")
So, is this a game that you guys think he would be able to figure out? Because, this is the first game he's actually taken interest in trying. Other games, I've just said, "dad, you should try this out", and he'll try it out without really wanting to and end up getting confused. But he seems really interested in trying this game. Do you guys think he should give it a shot? I mean, it's no skin off my back, I wouldn't be the one paying for it. But hey, I just thought you guys might be able to answer this question better than anyone I know in person. Thanks in advance, everyone.
