Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian~ The ‘Shadows' Case’ ~ [A 1x1 between Neko-chan and CloakedSchemerX]

Posted

-Introduction-
In England after World War I, Hugh Anthony Disward, also known as Huey, has finished his travels with Dalian and is currently watching her in good health. Hal Kamhout and Flamberge have finished off most of the Phantom Books, but it is still unknown if any still exist. ‘Professor’ and Rasiel have not been seen after the printer-company incident. The girl from the archives still is held within Dalian and the archives are still to access. A new Biblioprincess has been chosen, with a new Key Keeper. After discovery of hundreds of more Phantom Books, what news reporters called ‘The Shadow Case’, has traumatized many villagers and the new, unknown Key Keeper is being called out by the Biblioprincess, The Shadow Case, will have to be taken care of, also the effects of The Shadow Case.

-‘The Shadow Case’-
The Shadow Case takes place of demoniac shadows that come in different forms, some even possessing humans. Effects of the Shadow case include these shadows becoming monsters, burning down towns, causing reverse effects that should not be held in this world. The world is going out of balance because of this case all because of Phantoms Books. That is where the Biblioprincess and Key Keeper come in.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYqg97kSGuA Lyrics:

Miku:

Still...You are...All alone..

The sky is so blue
If only you knew it
If only you knew it...ahh

Meiko:

Where am I?
Even though the sky is blue
What I see is burned sand and rock face

The winds howl
Even though the horizon is far away
I was moved

Dried lakes
Burning fields
Someday they all will get back on the track
So, now I go forward

Even to the far future
There is a way to link
So, do not turn around
We can go through it

Len:

For everybody
That's what they said but...

In the starless sky
Light is overflowing
Since when
Have we been deserted?

The ladder that reaches to the end of the sky
I can't ascend it
In the cold world, holding hands,
We live today as always
We're not lifeless

(Stars, falling stars)

Someone, please give me courage
To face forward without turning back
The iron giant should shake the earth,
Disturb the atmosphere and follow

Even so I'd rather go with someone laughing
Than living all alone
Kick the earth to get onto the atmosphere
Believing in a fate that I can meet you

(Colors! Too bad I'm on the IPad....)

"It's okay Joshua, don't worry about it. Sorry for not being able to save you at times like this." Aisling said quietly.

Anthea gripped onto Usagi, a small smile on her face.

Hiro crossed her arms, looking straight out the window.

They were almost there.

(Just so there wouldn't be conversational confusion)Everyone was finally quiet. Margaret looked away from everyone else as if she rolled her eyes, just like if he was grumbling in frustration. I was the only one without an actual seat, just curled right atop Aisling's lap, staring off into the seat ahead as if it was the entire cosmos. Dante calmly drove and sighed after he just wasted a bullet of gold, and slowly decelerated, parking. "We're here." Dante said. Margaret was the first to get out, quickly heading out outside and brushing her front hair back from pure stress. Dante then stepped out, locking his door and slowly closing it. "That's finally over with." Margaret still clutched her arm and Dante held her weapons.

Anthea hopped out with her axe and Usagi, she was fallowed by Aisling with Joshua in her hands, and then Hiro with nothing but a blunt glare and her gun in her hand.

Hiro headed straight towards the library to go translating again.

Anthea began to run off wondering around the huge house.

Aisling stood straight by Dante.

Margaret practically stormed inside, looking around along with Anthea. She hated the owner's guts, but a home like this was astonishing, especially for Margaret's usual places of shelter. Dante walked inside as well, at Aisling's pace. "I suggest the two of you go into...'your' room again, and rest. You'll need plenty— you just had a rather traumatizing experience." Dante said, looking up and past the stairs to where their previous room was. He turned back to Aisling and cleared his throat. "Speaking of trauma, earlier I asked you why Joshua was so melancholic and traumatized, whereas you were not. After an analysis and observation over you, I have almost certainly reached the answer." Dante smirked, "Its quite simple, really," he started, looking for a moment at Joshua, who was doing almost nothing but twiddling his fingers in boredom. "You see, what the two of you experienced certainly seems to be enough to traumatize you. I can assure that Joshua here is the type of person to take every detail into consideration. He was paying attention. Every sight, sound, and smell of the camp etched into Joshua's mind, all the death and torture. However, you, Aisling, did not. Surely you've acknowledged everything that went on around you, but your focus was instead centered on Joshua. You kept all of your focus on him. You did NOT react to the situation entirely, you reacted to JOSHUA'S own reaction. This is why things didn't etch in, this is why you weren't traumatized. In fact, back when I found you, Joshua was scarred enough to not be fazed by anything anymore. You still focused on him, which is why the death of that boy and girl didn't faze you either. Do you understand, Aisling?"

Aisling gave a small nod, looking up at Dante.

"Don't you think we should tend to Joshua and Margaret's wounds? If you don't and one of them dies, just another person will die. If both of them die, then four people will be dead." She said bluntly.

"I was planning on doing so with Margaret, yes. But I assumed, being Aisling as you are, you would manage with Joshua, correct? Simply consult me if you require assistance." Dante told Aisling. With a quick glance at Joshua, he pointed down at one high cabinet in the kitchen. "Anything involving some kind of pill to take to stop pain, mental symptoms, and the like are in there," Dante started, "the bandages and first aid supplies are in the cabinet under the sink." Dante said. "Best of luck, but tell me if you have no idea what you're doing." Dante snickered, grabbing another first aid kit from the cabinet of the bathroom and walking ahead, to Margaret. "Come, Margaret." He said with a short grin. "You're not sticking with that pain forever and I certainly don't want red spills on all my golden decoration. Follow or I'll bring you by force and maybe a sleeping injection fluid." Dante bluffed, but Margaret listened anyway, grumbling and sighing.

  • Author

Aisling gave a small nod, looking down at Joshua.

"I'm helping you weather you like it or not." She said, heading off towards the bathroom.

She grabbed the First Aid Kit, wondering off to their room. Aisling sat Joshua down on a chair.

She looked straight at him after putting the kit down.

"Are you going to be okay, Joshua?" She asked, turning around and hugging him tightly.

"Mmmhmmm, I'll be fine, Aisling!!" I exclaimed rather enthusiastically and happily. Blood still seeped from my wound, but I happily kicked my legs, not touching the ground from the chair, and even smiling very warm-heartedly. It wasn't my smile though, it wasn't really from me. Like...an enigma that's convinced my own mind of whatever emotion it decides to want me to feel. For now, I was in an extremely happy mood. "Just don't worry, Aisling, I'll be fine, trust me!" I exclaimed happily still. "Wanna do something after, Aisling? Maybe we can play something!"

  • Author

Aisling was rather surprised at Joshua turned back around, looking back for a split second.

"That depends on what you would like to do. I don't care." she said a bit bluntly.

Aisling grabbed the medical tape and some other stuff, standing beside Joshua now.

"Hmmm," I thought aloud, still kicking my legs as a bored child usually would. "I don't know. Maybe we can see if Dante has anything for dessert to eat here, actually! I could use something sweet or maybe even chocolatey." I said, looking up to think. I clenched my blood wound to pressure it so no blood would keep seeping. I looked back, still up a bit, to Aisling. I sighed, "You seem like you don't really wanna do anything with me." I muttered, looking down to the bottom corner of where my eyes could go.

Margaret came out of a small room before Dante. Her arm was bandaged and she felt a bit nauseous from the disgusting taste of the pain medication. The bullets that had shot through her were removed, bloody and in Dante's hands. "You should rest up all you can, Margaret." Dante motioned his head towards another guest room for her, one beside Hiro's bedroom. "You may have taken the medication, but the pain will come back to you soon. Just rest. The wounds won't close magically." Dante said, walking ahead a few steps and stopping at the door of the bathroom Aisling and Joshua were in.

(They aren't in the bathroom fyi~they are in thier room that Dante assigned them...)

Aisling looked rather sadly at Joshua, beginning to clean up his wound.

"I do want to do something with you Josh...its just that so much has happened and we haven't had the time to do anything..." she admitted quietly, quiet enough for Joshua to only hear.

"This is going to hurt like hell..." she sighed, giving Joshua a fair warning.

Aisling quickly removed the bullet from Joshua's flesh, placing it in some achoal.

"Told you." she said bluntly.

(Agh, yes, I'll edit it.)

I looked at Aisling for a moment, without much worry. "Mmm, we haven't. But we should!" I said, waiting a bit nervously for Aisling to take out the bullet. "I'm okay, Aisling, it won't—" As soon as it came out, my face went entirely red and purple in pain. For the first time in so long, I screamed. I couldn't take it. I had to scream, I never had to before. I continued panting quite heavily when it was over, I was in horrible pain and remembered the pain from just a few seconds ago, as it replayed and replayed in my head. I felt hot yet weak and my heart was racing quickly. It was more pain than when I was shot...but, well...I didn't feel anything when I was shot. But I did now— as if Aisling had caused it. My emotions change anyway, but this was just a shortcut/trigger for it to switch. "NO, AISLING, STOP!!!" I yelled miserably. "WHY ARE YOU HURTING ME LIKE THIS!? IT DIDN'T HURT WHEN I WAS SHOT, BUT IT DOES NOW! ITS YOUR FAULT, ISN'T IT!?" I continued yelling uncontrollably, clenching my head instead now as I fidgeted away and ran away for a few steps. "I HATE YOU, AISLING! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS!? I HATE YOU!!" I still couldn't control anything, but ran out the room as quickly and enraged as I could, only to he stopped by Dante.

(So I went around asking everyone today: "does it hurt worse when your shot or when someone pulls a bullet out if you"...the answer was....when they pull the bullet out of you...and I was like: WHAT HAVE I DONE oAo)

Aisling stared straight ahead in shock. Tears formed in her eyes as she heard Joshua's screams, seeing his pain, hearing his words.

"I'm not trying to hurt you Joshua..." She said, falling into the chair in utter shock and disbelief, also sadness.

"It's not my fault...I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't mean to hurt you Joshua!" Aisling said sadly at first, getting louder in the end.

Tears fell freely down her face now, her hair covering her eyes.

(Gaahhhh, translations are killing me but I have the urge to do them anyway!)

Dante imminently stopped Joshua in his tracks. Before, Joshua could run back another way to be alone, Dante held Joshua by his head, his eyes gleaming a purplish color as if his eyes mixed as one. "Perhaps you would like to see the effects of a just phantom. An Enochian phantom." "BRITA BUSD C IAD."  He uttered as Joshua's tears suddenly stopped, but his eyes went in a daze as his emotions were quelled. "IHEHUDZ,"  He began, "LRASD M AGIOD DOALIM DS HOXMARCH. BRGDO ETHARZI."  Dante finished as Joshua quickly had his eyes closed and fell into a state of sleep. Dante carried Joshua back into the room and lied Joshua down on his bed, glaring at Aisling with his eyes reverted to their usual form. "Joshua will awaken in a better state than he was now. He won't be completely his old self quite yet, but an important thing to note while he's been like this, is that all of his emotions and mentalities as well as morals have, obviously, been heightened. And so, everything he says to you will either be the complete and deep truth, or an utter lie."

Aisling's tears soon stop and turned into rage.

"You better not have done anything permanate to him or I will literally kill you Dante." She snapped, looking at him rudely.

Deep truth or an utter lie. He didn't hate her...he just wanted to spend some time with her and play some games.

"You know you use Hiro for summoning some of that stuff."

Speaking of Hiro, she barged I to the doorway.

"The blond rabbit is running wild all over this house." She said bluntlym referring to Anthea.

"Don't fret. I've hindered Joshua of nothing, I just decided to cease his burst of outrage." Dante said, turning back around as he heard Hiro coming. "I know, Aisling. I have summoned 'that stuff' to protect Hiro, as well, though." Just after that sentence, Dante walked slightly ahead until Hiro burst through the door. He chose not to say anything about this madness here, he knew Hiro probably wouldn't care. "The blonde rabbit?" Dante asked rhetorically with a minor laugh. "She's fine, so long as she doesn't break anything or rip a book." Dante said, walking out of the room and glancing down at where Anthea was. Joshua was now sound asleep and Margaret was lying in the room's darkness, twiddling her fingers between her hair boringly. The younger girls were the ones active currently.

  • Author

Aisling wiped the tears from her face, looking at Hiro.

"What was that ab—" she was cut off by Anthea who cut straight through Dante, rushing into the room.

"Hiro! My dress is missed up....it has stupid blood on it from those dumb holocaust things..." She complaint.

"I might need another dress too..." Aisling said, realizing how terrible her dress looked from what has happened recently.

Hiro crossed her arms, giving a sigh.

"Fallow me." She said a bit agitatedly, starting to walk towards the room with Anthea and Aisling fallowing behind.

Dante smirked as the three girls left to find their dresses. "Tsk. This might be a long night, and I shan't sleep until they're all asleep as well. I don't want them to cause any trouble." As they followed Hiro, Dante went down the stairs, grabbing a mug of hot water, as well as a certain powder and a few other things. "I'll just brew myself some coffee to drink until then...." Dante muttered.Margaret glanced slightly out the door, seeing the others. Margaret had the urge to get a new dress as well, now that she realized how tarnished hers was. She looked off to side, seeing a mirror and also noticed her Gothic makeup was practically gone at this point. (Crap, I left all that by motorcycle!) Margaret thought. With a sigh, she stood up and quietly walked ahead, standing between Aisling and Anthea in a matter of seconds.

  • Author

Aisling jumped back about three feet once she realized Margaret was standing straight beside her.

"Here for one too I guess?" Hiro asked bluntly, starting to go on a rampage through her dressers, and occasionally walking out towards other rooms.

"Due to my pickiness you are all getting dresses depending on your library worlds...and whatever for you Margaret." Hiro said bluntly, placing four dresses on the bed. The colors were very distinct. A red one, a golden and white one, a navy and black one, and a black and white one.

"Go somewhere other then my room to change. Kill your hair however you wish. Steal my make up I never use if you insist..." Hiro sighed.

"Thank you Hiro~!" Anthea said happily, grabbing up her dress and running off to a separate room.

Aisling without a word grabbed her dress, wondering back to the room Joshua was asleep in.

(Because all girls kill their hair, huh Sodom?)"Yeah." Margaret said as bluntly as Hiro, not really talking to any of the other three girls. She took the black and white dress-- same colors as the French-maid-type dress she had on right now. Taking some darker, gothic make-up as well, and wondering why Hiro had that at all, Margaret stormed off into the room she was in earlier and slammed the door behind her, changing into the dress first. It suited her fairly well and wasn't too big nor too small a size, so Margaret then put on her make-up. First the black eye-shadow and eye-liner, then she continued."...If they break a door...." Dante complaint to himself, taking a temporary and current persona of a father-- the owner of the house whom has apparently led a bunch of people inside. He had his patience though. After a few moments, he took another quiet sip of coffee.

(SCHEMER. DON'T CURSE SIKOTA.)

Aisling opened the bathroom door, closing it behind her. The first thing she did was take a rather long bath, ridding the smell of blood and death from her. After this bath, she managed to dry it completely. Fallowing this, Aisling got dressed. It was a mid-thigh length dress since Hiro's dresses were either too long or too short. This dress was rather too short. It was black and navy, the two colors of her library. It was rather frilly at the bottom and had rather short sleeves. There was a navy vest sewn on, black lace lineing around it. The sleevs were rather short and the buttons on the vest looked like small black diamonds. Aisling kept her hair down, simply brushing it, it was naturally wavy thank god. Aisling actually looked rather cute. She opened the door, Dante's words resounding in her head. She needed to get rest. Aisling lay on the bed, her arms wrapped around as she stayed silent. She soon fell into a silent sleep.
