Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian~ The ‘Shadows' Case’ ~ [A 1x1 between Neko-chan and CloakedSchemerX]

Posted

-Introduction-
In England after World War I, Hugh Anthony Disward, also known as Huey, has finished his travels with Dalian and is currently watching her in good health. Hal Kamhout and Flamberge have finished off most of the Phantom Books, but it is still unknown if any still exist. ‘Professor’ and Rasiel have not been seen after the printer-company incident. The girl from the archives still is held within Dalian and the archives are still to access. A new Biblioprincess has been chosen, with a new Key Keeper. After discovery of hundreds of more Phantom Books, what news reporters called ‘The Shadow Case’, has traumatized many villagers and the new, unknown Key Keeper is being called out by the Biblioprincess, The Shadow Case, will have to be taken care of, also the effects of The Shadow Case.

-‘The Shadow Case’-
The Shadow Case takes place of demoniac shadows that come in different forms, some even possessing humans. Effects of the Shadow case include these shadows becoming monsters, burning down towns, causing reverse effects that should not be held in this world. The world is going out of balance because of this case all because of Phantoms Books. That is where the Biblioprincess and Key Keeper come in.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYqg97kSGuA Lyrics:

Miku:

Still...You are...All alone..

The sky is so blue
If only you knew it
If only you knew it...ahh

Meiko:

Where am I?
Even though the sky is blue
What I see is burned sand and rock face

The winds howl
Even though the horizon is far away
I was moved

Dried lakes
Burning fields
Someday they all will get back on the track
So, now I go forward

Even to the far future
There is a way to link
So, do not turn around
We can go through it

Len:

For everybody
That's what they said but...

In the starless sky
Light is overflowing
Since when
Have we been deserted?

The ladder that reaches to the end of the sky
I can't ascend it
In the cold world, holding hands,
We live today as always
We're not lifeless

(Stars, falling stars)

Someone, please give me courage
To face forward without turning back
The iron giant should shake the earth,
Disturb the atmosphere and follow

Even so I'd rather go with someone laughing
Than living all alone
Kick the earth to get onto the atmosphere
Believing in a fate that I can meet you

(Okay, okay, Sodom :3)

"Three down. Two to go." Dante muttered, reading a book by the fireplace. Joshua's been asleep, Margaret fell into her sleep not long ago along with Aisling, but Anthea and Hiro might still be awake. (I at the very least need Anthea asleep. I can trust Hiro, but I'm unsure of Anthea....) Dante thought. He sighed and continued reading. (Hold on...I do know how I can scare Anthea and Hiro out of their wits. Surely they'll try and go to sleep.) Dante thought some more, standing up and walking to bookshelves. He picked an Enochian book, and casually skimmed through a few page. (I doubt either of them really enjoy it.) He grinned, Dante hadn't pulled a trick like this in a long time, but he had an extreme urge to sleep, and he couldn't until he knew everyone else was. "AGRAA ORS! OTHROPOS AVAVAGO!" A streak of lightning shot through the sky for a moment...and then thunder began to roar.

Anthea simply dressed in the golden and pink lolita dress with a white shawl with pink cotton roses across it. She tied her hair back into two pigtails, Anthea looking childishly cute. She hopped in Hiro's bedroom, Hiro was already changed into a blank red lolita dress with a black jacket with golden buttons on over it. She unusually had her hair down.

"Hiro! You're so pretty!" Anthea explained silently, a yawn escaping her mouth.

"Do you have a room for me Hiro?" she asked.

Hiro nodded, ignoring Anthea's comment. Hiro led Anthea to her room, then she left. Anthea had crashed within five minutes.

"Finally." Dante uttered. He set down his cup of coffee in the sink, extinguished the fire, and began walking upstairs. Hiro was awake for now, but maybe the thunder would get her to sleep. Maybe. Dante walked over to his room and onto his bed, he changed into another robe, one that looked just as eloquent and fancy, but was more comfortable. In only a few minutes, he fell asleep as well.Later in the night, the thunder Dante had cast still roared. It echoed through the halls and past the windows, jolting Joshua up almost instantly. Everything came back to him at that moment...Alexander...Matthew and Elizabeth...the minor Nazi camp...Isaac and his victims...the gunshot...everything. But, despite that, Joshua still merely sighed. His emotions were less stirred up right now, and he still had a bit of nervousness. (I can't sleep with this....) He thought to himself irritatingly. He took his pillow and blanket, walking over and climbing onto Aisling's bed, sleeping over on the side. Or, trying to sleep.

Hiro sooned joined the others to sleep. Dante's storm however woke one up, Aisling to be exact. Her eyes opened, seeing Joshua right in front of her. She stared at him for a second.

"Can't sleep?" she asked rather bluntly.

There was silence for a moment.

"Are you okay now Joshua...I'm sorry..." Aisling said quietly.

I shook my head as to say 'no.' "No...I can't sleep." I said simply, slightly shivering of the cold and clenching the pillow every moment of thunder there was. The pain was gone now, but I could still remember what I had felt. That's what wouldn't go away for too long a time. "I'm fine." I said rather bluntly and directly. The thunder roared again. I closed my eyes tightly, you could practically see the pain when they were open, anyways. "You don't have anything to apologize for. I was the one who snapped. ......I don't hate you, Aisling. No matter what I say, don't think that."

  • Author

"I know you don't...you just scared me Joshua..." Aisling said quietly.

Seeing Joshua rather afraid of the thunder activity outside, she quickly grabbed him in her arms for the fiftieth time maybe.

"I wonder where this storm came from..." she said quietly.

"I know I say it a lot, Aisling, but......thank-you." I said, staying quiet for a moment. Dante's summoned phantasmal, or rather, spiritual essence over me kept me rather tired and calm for a while. Even in this thunder, I could end up sleeping somewhat easily. "Thanks. Thanks...for always being here, by me. For caring. No one else does like you do...and you already overshadow the memories of my parents and family. That's how much you matter to me. That's how important you are in this world— keeping someone else alive both physically and mentally. Thanks." I said, staying quiet again. I continued to close my eyes and try to sleep, Aisling comforted me.

A deep red blush paint over Aisling's face.

"Your welcome Josh.....and thank you for making me feel.....like I'm truly with my family again...but....you make me feel like my family was much better....Thank you..." She said, growing tired again.

Her eyes came to a close, her and Joshua curled up in each others arms, there was peace again. Soon, Aisling had fallen into a silent sleep again.

I didn't say anything else after that. I gave a warm smile and closed my eyes as well, drifting off into my second sleep of the night. The moon barely glistened past the thundering clouds, and all was well with the sky, eventually. (I look forward...to when the war's over.)

Anthea was the first to awake, literally dashing around the house looking for Margaret. She opened the two's door once, not closing it back. She did the same thing to Hiro.

"Go away Antheaaa....." Hiro complaint.

"Awww....by why?" She asked a bit sadly.

"I'm trying to sleep....and so is everyone else..." Hiro said bluntly.

Anthea nodded, dashing downstairs now.

Seeing the door open, I slowly sat up amd rubbed my eyes. The morning sun gleamed through the curtains and practically killed me. I just fell back onto the bed and began sleeping again, with the sheets blockading the sunlight from me.

Dante was the third to awaken, and the second to stay awake the first time. He combed his hair back before heading out his fancy golden and transparent door, hearing Anthea dash around the huge house. (I do see how Margaret is pushed off the edge easier every day, and not just once a month.) Dante thought, closing Hiro's door and Aisling's/Joshua's door. He had noticed they were together, probably because of the thunder he caused. Oh, well. No physical harm done.

  • Author

(No physical harm done.)

Anthea bumped straight into Dante.

"Ouch..." she complaint.

"Dante! Where. Is. Margaret?" she asked snappily.

Aisling woke up for a second as Joshua did, she lay there for a moment, closing her eyes again as Dante closed her door. She kept her eyes closed, eavesdropping on Anthea's and Dante's conversation.

Dante looked down at Anthea, she was rather small compared to him. "Margaret? She should very well be in the room to the left of Hiro's." Dante told her, "Why? You've never seemed to be attached to her, before." He uttered again, going along with an urge to pat little Anthea's head. "You may want to be somewhat less rambunctious around Margaret, though, to get on her good side."

  • Author

Anthea's eyes traced downward to the ground.

"I'm already on Margaret's bad side. She does do stuff for me...but she hates me. I don't like Margaret for my keykeeper. She is really mean and tried killing me a couple of days ago. She threw her scythe at me and it was just centimeters away from hitting me..." she said a bit quietly.

"If I know Margaret enough with her clear crude disposition," Dante said calmly as always, yet still having his sense of pity to Anthea, "Margaret will not think of killing you. She will threaten and taunt you, possibly scaring you away, but she wouldn't kill you. Despite that fact, its always best to get on her good side. Whether you won't mind her or you believe you're stuck with her, its best. Perhaps you can conversate with Kon to Kuro and her keykeeper instead of Margaret. Another time perhaps, you were looking for her, correct?" Dante asked, motioning his head towards the guest room Margaret was in.

  • Author

"Aisling?" Anthea asked.

She gave a small nod.

"You guys were there...weren't you?" she asked, looking over to Margaret's room.

Anthea looked back up at Dante.

"Thank you Dante." she said with a smile.

I couldn't help but give a faint smile myself as I lied down, hearing Dante and Anthea with Aisling here as well. "You're welcome. Well, then: you'd best be off with your keykeeper, Anthea." Dante said, patting Anthea's head again with a soft smile. His eyes traced over to the side, to Aisling and Joshua. "I feel as if it is my job to ensure balance is maintained here." Dante remarked. "How's Joshua, now?" He asked, not realizing my feign of sleep until I answered back. "I'm fine...thank-you too, Dante." I said, my eyes opening a bit, but rather slowly.

  • Author

Anthea smiled, calmly walking off towards Margaret's room. On the other hand, Aisling fidgeted where she was, knowing Dante was in the room. She opened her eyes, sitting up.

"Dante...ya...He's okay...I'm okay..." Aisling said, obviously still tired.

She looked over to Joshua, a small smile on her face. Had he been awake too? She looked back at Dante.

"Did Anthea wake you up?" she asked.

"That's good to hear." Dante said, turning to me as if I was still asleep. "Joshua should be much more stable by tomorrow." He said. I heard him, but kept my eyes averted, trying not to listen. "More or less so. I'd awaken soon enough, either way." Dante said and turned away, walking out the room. "I'm going to have to make quite a bit of a breakfast this morning. Be ready to come down when it's all made." He said, walking out and down the stairs.

I turned over to the side, still a bit half-asleep. "Aisling...." I uttered with the raspy voice you get when you're really tired. "What happened to me, really...? How am I not...'stable'?"

  • Author

Aisling looked sadly at Joshua.

"You went insane last night....I pulled the bullet from your arm and you just started screaming...you asked me 'Why are you hurting me like this?' and 'I didn't feel pain when I was shot...but now I do! It's you're fault! Isn't it?!' and..." her voice trialed off.

"You said you hated me....you said you hated me....and I know....I know that is not true..." Aisling said, her voice getting quieter.

(Sodom! Check my first post again :P)My eyes quickly drifted over, looking rather sadly to the floor as Aisling spoke. I listened. I did...but I'm not sure if I...really wanted to. I asked her...but whatever happened to me seemed to have changed me...I wasn't the same person anymore! Or, was I? I couldn't remember. I could only remember so much about how I acted in the past, before everything happened. My tears swelled up. I could barely take it anymore, and nearly burst out in tears. "Aisling!" I exclaimed a bit sorrowfully, now looking straight ta her. "I might have changed...and I'm sorry...but not everything's changed! I don't hate you Aisling! You know that...but...." My face turned red and I gulped. "I..." I still hesitated to even say it. "...I...love you."

  • Author

(Sodom knows this~)

Aisling had tears in her eyes...looking at Joshua. Her face turned red with a blush as she heard Joshua's statement...this was the second time he's said that too. In maybe less then a second, Aisling was hugging Joshua tightly.

"I know you don't hate me...and maybe we will go do something fun today. You would like to play something and do something fun, right?" she asked, looking at him now.

I couldn't help but smile. "Yeah...we never get to do anything...." I said, still embracing Aisling. "Thank-you..." I uttered, sitting upright again. "I guess we should go down rather than stay in bed all morning." I said with a faint and short chuckle.

"Mmm...something seems...different here, today." Dante uttered to himself from downstairs. Looking slightly upwards, there was no telling. What would happen here in the morning? "Hmm...how peculiar. No...rather than something...it's clearly someone. Anthea? Joshua? I wonder...."

  • Author

(Answer: Tension between the Keykeepers for the most part...)

Aisling laughed a bit, climbing out of bed and leading Joshua out behind her.

"I'm going to go steal some clothes, then I'll be downstairs, okay?" she said with a smile, walking off to find a light blue and white dress, wondering off to a bathroom to change.

(Blaaaahhh short postt....

"Okay." I said simply, following Aisling out the door then walking downstairs as Aisling went into the bathroom. I went down a bit enthusiastically when Dante came walking along too, to the foyer as the breakfast was being cooked.Probably the last to wake up, Margaret grumbled to herself, rolling around in bed until she decided to get up. Putting on the gothic make-up she practically stole from Hiro, she kept the dress she had on seeing as how it wasn't dirty anyway. With a sigh, she just walked out of the room, almost slamming the door on Anthea's face accidentally. "Anthea, what are you doing?" She asked a bit grumpily.Dante decided the breakfast was quite a bit, so it'd take a longer amount of time to cook. With a cup of tea, he walked into the foyer and turned to the right, opening the giant wooden-carved door into the library. His eyes slightly widened. "Hm? Was it Hiro? No...she couldn't take that much." Dante muttered. He walked out of the library room as I watched a bit, woindering what he was doing. He began walking up the stairs and towards Hiro's room. I still watched as the library door closed behind Dante, seeing the shelves of Enochian books. The completely empty shelves.
