Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian~ The ‘Shadows' Case’ ~ [A 1x1 between Neko-chan and CloakedSchemerX]

Posted

-Introduction-
In England after World War I, Hugh Anthony Disward, also known as Huey, has finished his travels with Dalian and is currently watching her in good health. Hal Kamhout and Flamberge have finished off most of the Phantom Books, but it is still unknown if any still exist. ‘Professor’ and Rasiel have not been seen after the printer-company incident. The girl from the archives still is held within Dalian and the archives are still to access. A new Biblioprincess has been chosen, with a new Key Keeper. After discovery of hundreds of more Phantom Books, what news reporters called ‘The Shadow Case’, has traumatized many villagers and the new, unknown Key Keeper is being called out by the Biblioprincess, The Shadow Case, will have to be taken care of, also the effects of The Shadow Case.

-‘The Shadow Case’-
The Shadow Case takes place of demoniac shadows that come in different forms, some even possessing humans. Effects of the Shadow case include these shadows becoming monsters, burning down towns, causing reverse effects that should not be held in this world. The world is going out of balance because of this case all because of Phantoms Books. That is where the Biblioprincess and Key Keeper come in.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYqg97kSGuA Lyrics:

Miku:

Still...You are...All alone..

The sky is so blue
If only you knew it
If only you knew it...ahh

Meiko:

Where am I?
Even though the sky is blue
What I see is burned sand and rock face

The winds howl
Even though the horizon is far away
I was moved

Dried lakes
Burning fields
Someday they all will get back on the track
So, now I go forward

Even to the far future
There is a way to link
So, do not turn around
We can go through it

Len:

For everybody
That's what they said but...

In the starless sky
Light is overflowing
Since when
Have we been deserted?

The ladder that reaches to the end of the sky
I can't ascend it
In the cold world, holding hands,
We live today as always
We're not lifeless

(Stars, falling stars)

Someone, please give me courage
To face forward without turning back
The iron giant should shake the earth,
Disturb the atmosphere and follow

Even so I'd rather go with someone laughing
Than living all alone
Kick the earth to get onto the atmosphere
Believing in a fate that I can meet you

Dante smirked. "Look at you two." He glared at Anthea and Hiro, The two of you, not even trying, yet still talking in unison. You're both more alike than you think, despite all your meddlesome arguing." Dante remarked, before going back inside. Pretty much all dry now, I just placed the towel around my neck for now. "Mmhmm. It was fun." I smiled faintly, "Thanks." I said. "Now its just really cold though." I remarked as well, jittering my jaws a bit as I talked. I started scrubbing the towel over my head then, since my hair was still what was left wet of me.

Hiro and Anthea basically turned imminently red at Dante's comment. Hiro crossed her arms, looking at Anthea.

"What did I do?" she complaint.

Hiro simply sighed, opening the door again.

"Hey Dante, can we go inside?" she asked a bit bluntly.

Aisling looked at Joshua, laughing a bit.

"Cold?" she asked with a laugh.

(I swear I shivered while typing this. I'm just like Joshua...I shiver when someone says 'cold', unless its really hot)"No." Dante said bluntly. "You can come back in when you're all dry." He said, sliding the door back closed. I shivered again, just from hearing the word 'cold.' Whenever someone said something, even just a word, I'd think about it, and I guess thinking about being cold lets my body know that I really am cold. "Yeah...aren't you?" I asked her, still trying to dry up my hair. It was really wet and I had plenty of hair for the water to absorb into. After finally not taking the cold too well, I just let the sun evaporate away the water in my hair, I just wrapped myself with the towel again and stood in the sun.

Aisling laughed a bit.

"I'm freezing actually." she said.

The towel was wrapped around her and Anthea was literally pressed against Aisling, trying to get warmer. Hiro sat on the ground wrapped up in her towel.

"Hiro...Dante is mean..." she compliant.

"I'm sure he just doesn't want to get amy gold or silk or anything wet, Anthea." I said to her calmly, still a bit cold though. I was practically dry by now, but I wasn't going to leave them alone for now. Or at least Aisling. I'd be somewhat alone inside anyway. I stood by Aisling and Anthea, just wrapped in a towel and bathing in what should be the warmth of the sun. "Thanks too, Anthea and Hiro. I thought you two were going to stare off into the smoke of the house all-day-long."

  • Author

"Dante is picky about his stuff..." Hiro muttered.

Aisling grabbed Joshua's hand instinctively.

"I'm dry. Come on, lets go inside." she said with a small smile.

I smiled a bit at Hiro's comment and followed Aisling inside. "Okay. See you soon, Anthea, Hiro." I teased for a split second before I slid the door back closed for now. I saw Dante rearranging the books Lira had taken from him. He already had all the books stacked on the tables and couches of the living rooms, rather than in Margaret's motorcycle. He seemed to arrange them alphabetically, as according to the Enochian language though. I went upstairs into 'Aisling's and my' room, searching through the drawers for any other clothes my size that hadn't been just used.

  • Author

Aisling trailed up to Hiro's room, grabbing a dress from the dresser of the many arrays of colors of dresses she had. Aisling ran off to a bathroom to get dressed. Hair up with a white bow. Short-sleeved dress, white ruffles on the edge of the sleeve. It was a scoop neck with white lace aligning the neck line. It was just above Aisling's knees, might blue ruffles at the bottom. It had a corset-like design with light blue ribbons and a bow on each side of the waist. White was the main color. She wore white tights and some white boots that were just below the knees, a small heel on the boots. Aisling walked down stairs into Dante's library.

"You have a lot of books here, Dante." She said seriously.

In probably the last drawer in the room I looked in, I finally found clothing that would actually fit me. I walked over the bathroom and closed it behind me, changing out of my swimming shorts. I wore mostly grey. Light grey slacks and a white collared under-shirt, with a dark gray buttoned over-shirt. I walked out and to the pile of stuff in the room, grabbing my gloves and collar I always wore. I then just put on other white socks and white shoes before walking back downstairs and bringing my used clothes into the washer, but not setting them to wash. It wasn't enough to be a load, anyways.Dante sighed. "Yes, and it may take a while to get them back how they were. I'm curious as to how the Hell Lira got them into Margaret's motorcycle. She could've transformed into a damned squid for all I know." He said, with a clear irritated and grumbling tone. He sighed and continued with his rearrangements. "You do know the main difference between an English or Latin Phantom Book, and an Enochian one, correct?"

  • Author

Aisling glared slightly at Dante.

"Do you Dante? I know the differences between Phantom Books. All Biblioprincesses should know the differences between Phantom Books." She said bluntly, a bit mad.

Hiro and Anthea opened the door, looked around, then dashed up the stairs even though they were not completely dry.

Dante quickly glared at Anthea and Hiro as he was in the room nearest to the staircase. "Get anything wet and you're both sleeping in the pool." He ordered, before resuming his attention onto the books and Aisling. "Yes, Aisling. I do now. I'd wager the fact that you know more of the Phantom Books than I do, however," Dante placed a stack of Enochian books into their respective shelves. "I've yet to see one know very much about Enochian Phantom Books. Even Hiro lacks it a bit." Dante said. "Now, tell me. Even if you should or shouldn't know, do you know? The main difference between such Phantom Books."

  • Author

"W-why should I tell you the difference...." Aisling muttered, looking at Dante uneasily.

The truth was she really didn't know.

Anthea and Hiro tensed up at Dante, them both dashing upstairs to get dressed.

Dante chuckled. "You don't know. I'll answer my own question with your answer...on another question." Dante rolled his eyes, seeing as how his sentence was somewhat confusing. "Do you know what was oh so supposedly using of the Enochian language?" He asked her now. She might not know that, either, however. Until she'd give an actual answer, Dante continued with his arranging.Fully dressed, I started to come downstairs before seeing Anthea and Hiro. "You're still both wet." I muttered. All three of us just walking past each other, I swiftly slid to the side of the wall and past them, trying not to get wet.

"We're semi-dry!" Hiro snapped, entering her bedroom with Anthea fallowing.

Aisling looked at Dante, confused.

"Dante! Your making no sense!" She complaint.,

Dante sighed. "I suppose the stimuli I'm asking you to respond to may be a bit...confusing for you. Fine, then I suppose I''l try to make it a bit more understandable." Dante sighed and took a break, sitting back on the couch. "The Phantom Books you more commonly encounter are generally English, though some may be Latin. Those Phantom Books are each possessed-- possessed by demonic phantoms." Dante explained. "The Enochian books, however, are possessed as well. Instead of being possessed by a demonic phantom though, the Enochian phantoms are instead...?" Dante asked Aisling again. Hopefully she'd be able enough to understand and respond correctly NOW

  • Author

"Enochian Phantoms? I've never encountered those before..." Aisling muttered.

"I've only dealer with demonic phantoms...you and Hiro are really good at destroying Phantom Books...." She asked, looking at Dante.

Dante sighed. "Aisling. The Enochian language is the language spoken by angels. The Enochian phantoms are not demonic. They are angelic. Do you now understand?" Dante asked. He got sick of it and just flat-out told her. Dante sighed again, pressing his hand against his face for a moment. "Either way, Hiro and I have indeed burnt many Phantom Books. The Enochian ones however, stay. They're all one of a kind. Not to mention, I am one of very few people who can actually use the books. Enochian is a dead language, practically lost. Most never even hear the word Enochian. Lira was able to copy my memory and therefore knowledge of Enochian, so she's the only other person I know who can use them effectively."

  • Author

Aisling looked at Dante, a bit mad at him.

"Do you really think I know this stuff?" Aisling asked.

Hiro was already walking down the stairs, wearing a red dress and a rude smile on her face.

"I know all about it Aisling~" she said, looking at Aisling.

Anthea soon stepped down the stairs, wearing a light pink dress and clutched onto Aisling.

"Hey Dante....do you have any snacks?" Anthea asked.

Dante smirked again. "Honestly, Aisling, I was fairly certain you knew none of it. However, I went along purely to prove your boasts of knowledge wrong. I eventually got rather sick of it, though." Dante said. "I don't even think Hiro would know that Enochian even exists if anyone else was her Keykeeper." Dante said, before standing back up and resuming his rearranging again. He heard Anthea and without even turning to look at her, Dante went ahead and answered. "We have plenty of snacks. Check the pantry. However, hold off on anything that you'll need the stove or oven though, at least for a day or two." Dante said.I came down too, as Anthea did, just looking around though. After having plenty of time for swimming, I was getting a bit tired and didn't know what to do. It was hard to believe what else happened in the same day. I could still remember that faceless shadow who attacked Isaac and Lira. "Oh, hey, Dante, did you happen to get the Book of Duplication from upstairs?" I asked him, a bit worryingly if Lira might've taken it or something. "Yes, I did. I burnt it already." He said bluntly, I just nodded. "Ah-- okay." I muttered.

  • Author

"Joshua! We're about to go get some snacks. Are you hungry?" Aisling asked.

Anthea had already dashed off towards the kitchen.

"If you dare touch my mint cookies..." Hiro said, threatening.

"We won't touch them Hiro." Aisling said.

I turned away to Aisling and the others, "Huh? Oh, yeah! I'll be there right now!" I called, already dashing off into the kitchen. The smell of smoke was already gone, but things would burn extremely easily on either the stove or oven right now. When I got there, I began looking through the cabinet with Anthea, although, I couldn't see the top two shelves inside. Way too high. I browsed through everything I could see, occasionally grabbing a box or something and looking at it. I took a box of cookies, seeing if they might be sugar cookies or something. "Oh...I don't really like mint." I admitted, setting the box back where it was and browsing again.

(Alright I'm bored. Posting on this like I said I wasn't tonight.)

Aisling fallowed the two, looking in the pantries. Something caught her and Anthea's eyes. Tarts. Aisling grabbed them and grabbed a plate, both Aisling and Anthea sitting down. Anthea spilt the tarts out on the plate, both of them begging to eat the sweet cookie-like thing.

(First intense argument I've ever heard between my dad and his fiancè going on upstairs...*sigh*)

Not really in the mood for a tart, I still browsed around the pantry. (Hm... too bad I can't make a pizza in the oven or anything....) I thought, still looking through it. (Oh! I'll have some of these, then.) I quickpy grabbed a bag full of potato chips— just normal and not any specific flavor of it. I took the bag and opened it from the top, sitting down by the table with no plate— just the bag. I then took a potato chip...and ate it.

(*sigh* I hate spouse fights.)

"Joshua....those or so plaain..." Anthea complaint, grabbing one tart.

"Anthea is right. Why not something else?" Aisling asked, tilting her head a bit.

(I do as well.)

I continued eating, swallowing for a moment before I spoke again. "Yeah, I guess so. But I like a lot of my foods plain! Seriously..like a lot. I eat plain chips, I hate the meat in spaghetti, all my soups are usually just plain chicken flavored, I don't use sauces like ketchup EVER, and yeah, you get the point." I explained, eating the chips again. I swallowed, "I do like pepperoni on pizza amd stuff." I continued eating again.
