Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian~ The ‘Shadows' Case’ ~ [A 1x1 between Neko-chan and CloakedSchemerX]

Posted

-Introduction-
In England after World War I, Hugh Anthony Disward, also known as Huey, has finished his travels with Dalian and is currently watching her in good health. Hal Kamhout and Flamberge have finished off most of the Phantom Books, but it is still unknown if any still exist. ‘Professor’ and Rasiel have not been seen after the printer-company incident. The girl from the archives still is held within Dalian and the archives are still to access. A new Biblioprincess has been chosen, with a new Key Keeper. After discovery of hundreds of more Phantom Books, what news reporters called ‘The Shadow Case’, has traumatized many villagers and the new, unknown Key Keeper is being called out by the Biblioprincess, The Shadow Case, will have to be taken care of, also the effects of The Shadow Case.

-‘The Shadow Case’-
The Shadow Case takes place of demoniac shadows that come in different forms, some even possessing humans. Effects of the Shadow case include these shadows becoming monsters, burning down towns, causing reverse effects that should not be held in this world. The world is going out of balance because of this case all because of Phantoms Books. That is where the Biblioprincess and Key Keeper come in.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYqg97kSGuA Lyrics:

Miku:

Still...You are...All alone..

The sky is so blue
If only you knew it
If only you knew it...ahh

Meiko:

Where am I?
Even though the sky is blue
What I see is burned sand and rock face

The winds howl
Even though the horizon is far away
I was moved

Dried lakes
Burning fields
Someday they all will get back on the track
So, now I go forward

Even to the far future
There is a way to link
So, do not turn around
We can go through it

Len:

For everybody
That's what they said but...

In the starless sky
Light is overflowing
Since when
Have we been deserted?

The ladder that reaches to the end of the sky
I can't ascend it
In the cold world, holding hands,
We live today as always
We're not lifeless

(Stars, falling stars)

Someone, please give me courage
To face forward without turning back
The iron giant should shake the earth,
Disturb the atmosphere and follow

Even so I'd rather go with someone laughing
Than living all alone
Kick the earth to get onto the atmosphere
Believing in a fate that I can meet you

"The single pair of Key Keeper and Biblioprincess. Kon to Kuro no Yomihine, I believe. I don't know her or her Key-Keeper, but from what I've heard, she's rather protective of her Key-Keeper. Unusual, as it is generally the Key Keeper who protects the Biblioprincess." Noah said rather calmly. He then looked back at Griselda. "The other two pairs are much harder. One of the Key Keepers is a Libricide Odficer and the other...is rather...infamously powerful. An expert with Enochian, actually."

Margaret entered her own old room, quickly grabbing her bag and a bit of the Gothic make-up she had. Anthea's room was just another window away, but she had to make sure Anthea was safe with her job as of now.

"Lead me two Kon to Kuro then." Griselda said with a snap.

She wasn't going to miss out her chance of actually being able to see another pair of stupid keykeepers and biblioprincesses. She'd actually be able to show off with Noah.

"We're not bothering the two others at all." She said before turning and smiling at Noah.

After Anthea had finished getting Joshua's clothes, it was time for her to sneak in Hiro's room.

"Hey, Aisling," I said, past the elongated quietude that was dawned over the household. "Before I end up getting too sleepy, I'm going to take a shower. Can you put some of my clothes outside the door when Margaret gets here?" I asked, wanting to get it over with and not waste time. I was very drowsy as of the moment now, as well.

Once more, Margaret came out the window and scaled the walls to the next, picklocking and entering once more. Just as easily, Margaret took Anthea's bag from her room, and now just had to wait for Anthea herself.

Noah was emotionlessly quiet for a moment. He knew Griselda would be malicious and remorseless when they got to Kon to Kuro. Noah, however, understood the possibility of there being unkind circumstances. Regardless, Noah took heed to Griselda and led the way towards Aisling.

  • Author

"I will Joshua..." Aisling said with a small smile. Now all she was doing is waiting.

Anthea lightly ran through the hallway, making the lightest and softest running she could.

"I'm done!" She said quietly after she found Margaret.

"Hiro's stuff was actually really easy to get too." Anthea said with a smirk.

"Okay. Thanks, Aisling~" I said a bit cheerfully, grabbing a towel and starting the shower.

"Good. Let's go." Margaret said bluntly, going out the window once more and down to the ground, still holding onto Aisling's, Joshua's, Anthea's and her own bags.

  • Author

Anthea nodded, seeing Margaret and all her bags.

"M-Margaret do you want me to carry some of those....?" She asked.

"You're welcome Joshua." Aisling said with a small laugh.

"No, I'm fine." Margaret walked a bit trudgingly to her motorcycle, eventually throwing the bags onto the sidecar. There was still room for Anthea, anyway. She ignited the motorcycle and waited for Anthea to get in."With the least amount of consideration...." Dante shut the windows of each room. "...They could make sure they close what they come in from...." He sighed. "Even coming through the front door would have been just as easy."

  • Author

Hiro sighed and watched the two as they left.

"Idiots..." she snapped.

She stood up, walking out of her room, and soon finding Dante.

"Well...they DID leave their stuff here..." Hiro stated.

"Are we almost there?" Elda asked.

She was getting rather impatient.

Anthea jumped in the sidecar.

"Let's go!!" she exclaimed.

Margaret drove off as soon as Anthea came into the car. The road wasn't busy now in the night, so it's much quicker to get back.

"Indeed," Dante said to Hiro. "In fact, I would have let them get their items without trouble," He began, boringly, "To which I technically just did."

"Yes...almost there, Elda." Noah grunted, walking along the sidewalk. "Wait...." He stopped himself and Elda. "Another pair of Key-Keeper and Biblioprincess is coming our way. And fast...." He looked off into the road, waiting for the two. Margaret and Anthea speeded right past them, leaving a gust of wind in their wake. Noah sighed. "...Or past us. Regardless, they're going where we're headed. If not, past it." He said irritatingly.

  • Author

"I wouldn't have let them get away with it." Hiro snapped.

Of course she wouldn't though.

"Those two are rather rude..." Elda snapped.

"They are probably going straight there. The driver is probably an old woman with no love life." She sighed.

"Perhaps that's why they chose to do what they did." Dante said to Hiro. "It's getting late already. The both of us should get our rest."

Noah laughed. "I really have no idea how you brought that into conversation," He walked ahead. "But we'll find out what she's like soon."

  • Author

Hiro nodded and walked off to her room, soon getting dressed into a black nightgown before going to bed.

"Usually people who have had problems in the past drive like that. I know my parents used too." Elda said with a small smile.

"What are we waiting for, come on Noah." She said, clapping her hands together.

"What a philosophical observation...." Noah stated, clear and alive with a tone full of emotion. His tone then turned sarcastic, "...about reckless driving." He sighed and went on ahead with Elda. They were getting there, at least.

Margaret and Anthea made it to Eric's house in no time at the speed they were going. Tired, Margaret grabbed most of everyone's bags from the sidecar, leaving Anthea with some to take as well.

  • Author

"Shut up Noah!" Elda complaint.

He started off sounding so serious, but then he turned it completely around.

Anthea sighed, stepping out of the sidecar and grabbing some of the bags. Anthea opened the door.

"We're baaaacccckkkk~!!" She exclaimed.

"Mary is asleep so I would keep it down some." Eric snapped.

Noah smiled and continued onwards.

Margaret went back outside and locked the sidecar with the weapons and such. She did come back with Usagi, handing it to Anthea. "Your's and Joshua's stuff is all in your bag." She stated boringly, sitting down. (Right...I have to sleep with Mary, too) Margaret thought irritatingly. Regardless, she went to where Mary slept, simply tired.

  • Author

"Thank you Margaret..." Aisling said before Margaret walked off.

She opened her bag, placing some clothes for Joshua outside the door of the bathroom. She held her own night clothes in her hand. She'd have to wait for Joshua to get out in order for her to change. Anthea would have to do the same thing.

In a few minutes, the water streaming from the shower shut off. Joshua peeked open the door, grabbed his clothes, and closed the door again. He dried himself for the most part and got changed into pajamas somewhat quickly, not wanting to keep Aisling or Anthea waiting. He came out dressed and dry. His hair was just about all that was still significantly wet. "Thank-you, Aisling...." Joshua muttered as he left into the living room.

  • Author

Aisling and Anthea fought over who was going to change first.

"We are both girls so why don't we just get dressed together?!" Aisling snapped after about five minuets.

They both walked into the bathroom after Joshua left, then stood rather far apart with their backs turned from each other. Silently, the two got dressed in no time. Anthea stepped out of the bathroom soon after Aisling did and the two went into the living room and sat down on the bed they all made.

"Good Night Eric!" Anthea called.

"Good Night Anthea." He said before walking off to his room.

As Aisling and Anthea bickered at each other, I had gotten myself settled in and comfortable. By the tine the two were done changing, I was already in the middle of the bed, half-asleep.

Noah stopped Elda outside the household Kon to Kuro was in. "Wait, Elda—" he looked at her a bit confusedly. "What exactly are we going to do? Barge in? Knock? And then afterwards, we also have about no idea how we're going to do things. Not to mention the other pair of Key Keeper and Biblioprincess is in there as well."

  • Author

"Isn't he just so cute?" Anthea blurted out while staring at Joshua.

"He's mine so bug off." Aisling snapped.

"That's mean..." Anthea sighed.

"We just need to sleep..." Aisling sighed, laying down.

Anthea did the same thing soon afterwards.

Elda started thinking.

"Maybe we shouldn't have come here...." She muttered.

Still able to hear the two while only half-asleep, I instinctively just gave a faint smile and blush. I kept my eyes closed and continued trying to sleep. It was more difficult than normal for comfort due to being so used to Dante's regal and expensively cozy home, but also easier to sleep because of everything that had happened today. I decided to focus on my drowsiness of all things. If I had thought deeply and remembered everything that's happened in this one day, I would cry myself to sleep.

"Oh, really?" Noah sneered irritatingly. "You were the one to demand coming here. Now it's too late for us to go out because of Nazism, and we appear to have nowhere to stay...." Noah sighed.

  • Author

("I would cry myself to sleep". I about cried.)

"We have places to stay. Shut up Noah." Elda snapped.

"We have that one place to go..." she muttered.

It was an abandon house under a store that was for sale. It was in the middle of the town, but it worked for them.

Anthea was asleep much faster then Aisling. Aisling just simply lay there and listened. So much stuff happened today. They figured out Dante killed Joshua's parents, there was a shoot-down, they went to the bibliotheca again...Joshua got captured, they almost got killed again, then Eric showed up. So much stuff. Tomorrow would only have more adventures.

Noah gritted his teeth in angst. "...Yeah...but still, it's right in the middle of town. I doubt we could get there with Germans around...." He sighed once more. "Any plans?"

  • Author

"Your the bait." Elda said, grabbing onto Noah's arm and starting to drag him back into town.

"If anyone wants to get us, they have to get past us." She said, her left eye turning red.

They would have to get past the Bibliotheca.

"The bait...!?" Noah exclaimed, both confusedly and fearfully. "And what exactly are you going to do??" He exclaimed again, with notice of her red eye now.
