Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian~ The ‘Shadows' Case’ ~ [A 1x1 between Neko-chan and CloakedSchemerX]

Posted

-Introduction-
In England after World War I, Hugh Anthony Disward, also known as Huey, has finished his travels with Dalian and is currently watching her in good health. Hal Kamhout and Flamberge have finished off most of the Phantom Books, but it is still unknown if any still exist. ‘Professor’ and Rasiel have not been seen after the printer-company incident. The girl from the archives still is held within Dalian and the archives are still to access. A new Biblioprincess has been chosen, with a new Key Keeper. After discovery of hundreds of more Phantom Books, what news reporters called ‘The Shadow Case’, has traumatized many villagers and the new, unknown Key Keeper is being called out by the Biblioprincess, The Shadow Case, will have to be taken care of, also the effects of The Shadow Case.

-‘The Shadow Case’-
The Shadow Case takes place of demoniac shadows that come in different forms, some even possessing humans. Effects of the Shadow case include these shadows becoming monsters, burning down towns, causing reverse effects that should not be held in this world. The world is going out of balance because of this case all because of Phantoms Books. That is where the Biblioprincess and Key Keeper come in.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYqg97kSGuA Lyrics:

Miku:

Still...You are...All alone..

The sky is so blue
If only you knew it
If only you knew it...ahh

Meiko:

Where am I?
Even though the sky is blue
What I see is burned sand and rock face

The winds howl
Even though the horizon is far away
I was moved

Dried lakes
Burning fields
Someday they all will get back on the track
So, now I go forward

Even to the far future
There is a way to link
So, do not turn around
We can go through it

Len:

For everybody
That's what they said but...

In the starless sky
Light is overflowing
Since when
Have we been deserted?

The ladder that reaches to the end of the sky
I can't ascend it
In the cold world, holding hands,
We live today as always
We're not lifeless

(Stars, falling stars)

Someone, please give me courage
To face forward without turning back
The iron giant should shake the earth,
Disturb the atmosphere and follow

Even so I'd rather go with someone laughing
Than living all alone
Kick the earth to get onto the atmosphere
Believing in a fate that I can meet you

"So...we're not going to see Eric or Mary anymore...?" I asked, rhetorically to an extent, but disappointed. Margaret nodded, "Likely not," she turned to Eric, "thanks for letting us stay. I never got to thank your mother; where is she? I haven't seen her once yet...."

Noah continued walking with Elda. "Something's always wrong...I just don't know what it is as of now." He said seriously, without a single glance back.

  • Author

Eric's eyes traced down towards the ground.

"Me and Mary were adopted, and our mother got sick a couple of months ago...her sickness spread to her legs, and she can't walk anymore." He said seriously.

Aisling sighed, it almost sounded like what happened to her mother.

Elda nodded.

"It's our job to stop it though, right?" She asked.

Not knowing what to say, Margaret hesitated, almost giving a glance back where Mary was. She looked back at Eric, "...Wish your mother...the best of luck...." I nodded, and looked up to Aisling, faintly smiling. I turned over to Eric and nervously, yet anxiously, reached to hisg hand and dropped a small, almost empty pouch— what little that was left of the Panacea, he had kept. "...I'm sorry there's not enough anymore to make it go away...but please give it to her. I think it'll still make her feel better."

  • Author

"Hmm...?" Eric asked as Joshua came up to him.

As soon as Eric was given the pouch, he smiled softly.

"Thank you very much Joshua, I'll give it too her." he said.

"Oh, and Joshua." Eric said, his voice getting quiet.

"You and Aisling look rather close to each other, look out for her, okay?" he said seriously, but quietly.

Softly spoken, I gave a simple "You're welcome...." to Eric. I smiled even softer, hoping the Panacea would help his mom. I then nodded at Eric, "Okay," I stood closer to Aisling, "I promise."

Noah stopped Elda once more, outside Eric's home. "My point still stands. What exactly do we do?"

  • Author

Elda looked at Noah.

"We could always wait until they leave..." she said.

"Well, lets get going after I get dressed." Aisling said.

(I'm sorry Neko-chan ;~; I didn't realize it was my turn)"So you don't really know what we're going to do...." Noah bluntly inferred, and sighed.

"Okay, Aisling...." I said calmly. "I guess I should get changed too." I mumbled, sitting and going through Aisling's bag for a bit, only because my clothes were in there too.

Dante drank tea, calmly awaiting Hiro to awaken and, hopefully, be willing to continue libricide towards The Shadows' Case. That was one primary reason he had done his best to bring himself alongside Joshua and Aisling, as well as Margaret and Anthea. Their safety from the war would still be limited unfortunately, but they would still likely have a better life. Perhaps Joshua was the exception, but his life only got worse in his perspective. He simply would have the same life-- but oblivious to so many things if he stayed.

(It's okkkaaaayyyy)

"We'll yell at them and tell them to get to work. They do need to be working on defeating these Phantoms." Elda said seriously.

Aisling nodded, letting Joshua go and get dressed before her.

Hiro came thumping down the stairs, she was already dressed, and found Dante quickly.

"Good Morning, Dante." She said seriously.

"So be it." Noah stated simply, patiently waiting outside the door and beside Elda.I dressed pretty quickly, just putting on basic clothing and dressing into the nicer over-shirt after leaving the restroom, buttoning it up while Aisling could go into the restroom and changer, herself.

"Good morning, Hiro," Dante began. It was still early, and he didn't get to the point of his plans for the day quite yet. "Hungry for breakfast, perhaps?"

  • Author

Aisling went into the bathroom, and changed rather quickly. She wore a short-sleeved rather short navy and white dress. It is navy, but the skirt of the dress is white. There are ruffles around the sleeves and low collar of the shirt. Aligning the skirt was the blue part with ruffles aligning the skirt. The skirt was wavy at the bottom. She wore white tights and her boots before stepping out of the bathroom. Before she left however, she pulled her hair into a rather messy bun.

"Let's go." She snapped.

Hiro shook her head.

"I'm not so hungry." She said seriously.

"Okay," I said simply to Aisling, putting on gloves to cover my hand seal. Margaret was already changed, as she did when she awoke. Gesturing for Anthea to follow, Margaret walked out the door revealing Noah and Griselda.

"So be it, then...." Dante set down William's book. "Today, Hiro, we are to continue what we are obliged to do— and rid the area of the phantoms of The Shadows' Case."

  • Author

"Your little party is over." Elda imminently snapped, grabbing Noah and pulling him in front of her.

"I am Griselda, a vile name...but Elda is what people call me. And this is my Noah." She introduced.

Aisling looked at Noah and smiled a bit. Anthea however bowed her head.

"Hello! I am Anthea Ione!" She introduced.

"Yes, wonderful." Elda sighed.

Hiro let out a loud sigh.

"But that's so booorriiiinnnggg Dante and it hurts like hell!" She yelled.

"This is incredibly inefficient. Also— your Noah?" Noah himself added with a sigh. He looked over to the others, Margaret closing the door behind them and myself just looking a bit confused. "Alright then, Griselda— what do you want?" Margaret asked calmly, not seeing them as a threat at all. "Briefly, all of you have been slacking in regards to the libricide of The Shadows' Case." Noah stated firmly. "...But...that's what we're going to do now...." I said, shyly and quietly.

"That's our obligation, Hiro. At the very least, I'll have a sole use for the Enochian phantoms rather than inflicting you pain every phantom we come across." Dante nearly sighed.

  • Author

"Good, then get to work." Elda snapped.

"Me and Noah have been getting rid of them easily, sure it causes some pain on Noah's part, but we're getting the job done." She said seriously.

"Too bad for the others." Hiro smiled.

"I'm glad you use Enochian." She said, looking at Dante.

"On his part?" Margaret and I both questioned curiously, Margaret of course drowning out my voice. Noah nudged Elda, "Why would you mention that...? Just don't tell them anything...." he grunted.

"An awful lot of disadvantages for them, yes. I'm sure they can manage, however." Dante assured Hiro. "Are you ready?"

  • Author

Hiro nodded.

"Yes, Dante." She said seriously.

Elda laughed.

"Don't worry about it, anyway, you two groups better get to work before anything happens." She said seriously.

Elda looked to Noah.

"We'll be going now." She said, grabbing Noah and walking off.

"Then let us head off." Dante stated confidently. Alongside Hiro, he opened the door and closed It behind him, locking it and doing the same with the gate.

"Well...whatever...." Margaret shrugged the confrontation off. She looked at Aisling, "Should we split up or stay as one group?" She asked, quite surprisingly to not be making decisions herself. I continued to ponder over the two who had just come up to us, and for Noah taking the pain.

  • Author

"We should stick together, it would be easier." Aisling said seriously.

Anthea nodded. She kept her eyes on Noah as he walked off though, she liked him a bit.

Hiro looked at Dante.

"Where are we going?" She asked.

"Alright then, let's go. Aisling, Joshua, just share the sidecar." Margaret said, glancing at Anthea for a moment, pausing. She grit her teeth. "Anthea, come on." She demanded. I noticed as well, but just continued on to Margaret's motorcycle alongside Aisling.

"Having 'scolded' them, Elda, I guess we should continue hunting phantoms as well...." He quietly said. Beginning to sense the presence of phantoms throughout the town, he began looking to see which may be the biggest threats.

"The other side of town." Dante told Hiro simply, "We'll work our way back here, especially considering none of the others reside in that direction." He got into his car and ignited the engine, getting Hiro in and beginning to drive ahead.

  • Author

Once everyone was in the sidecar, the group began driving off.

"Joshua, you can sense Phantoms, right?" Aisling asked.

(Short post)

Looking around town as we drove through it, I turned to Aisling. "Um...yeah I can, a bit." I murmured. "They have to be...kind of close, though." I added. I was still a little concerned about Eric at the time and didn't know if the remaining Panacea would still be able to help.

  • Author

"Well, can you tell if they are close?" Aisling asked.

--MEANWHILE--

Eric gave the Panacea to his mother after the group left. The Panacea thankfully worked, Mary and Eric would have to really thank Joshua, so would Eric's mother.

However, when Aisling's or Anthea's Bibliotheca opened, the family would forget about them. It always works that way.

Joshua nodded contemptly, "...Mm-hmm." He glanced around, as if examining the entire town as the wind past him along with everything else. He stared in one direction for a few moments. Joshua leaned forward and looked to his left then, up from the sidecar, "...Hey...Margaret...I can feel something on the next street...to the right."

  • Author

"Margaret, let's go that way." Anthea said, pointing towards the next street to the right.

"Oh, and Aisling, let's have a race. Whomever can capture the phantom first wins." She said soon after.

"Okay Anthea, it's on." Aisling said seriously.

"So we split here then meet back up after these two Phantom Books." Margaret half stated and half ordered. I kept by Aisling and Margaret parked the motorcycle, locking the sidecar in when we got out. "Just so you know...." Margaret started, "Anthea and I are the ones going to win here." She smirked and took her scythes, going ahead.

Noah stopped at the front of an...unusually quiet building. Knowing what phantom books are what with his stronger sensory, he cringed. He glanced over to Elda, "Perhaps...we could...skip this one." He suggested, sighing. "Then again...we can't leave it to the other group. Not with an eleven year old there." Noah looked back at the brothel in front of them. "Herein lies The Book...of...." He cringed again, "Lust."
