February 13, 201312 yr Lent isn't a part of my religion, but I respect that you would set goals like these to better yourself. Good luck!
February 13, 201312 yr Usually my family has some form of take-out for dinner every Friday, but during the Lent weeks we're not going to do that. Instead we'll save the money we would normally have spent each week, so at the end of Lent we can go out to a really fancy restaurant and stuff ourselves silly. Not exactly in the spirit of the season, but yeah.
February 13, 201312 yr I don't practice any kind of religion, but in my younger years in school it was encouraged to participate in Lent. Therefore, I gave up Lent for Lent back in 2006. Never looked back since On a serious note, when does Lent even start and finish? Is it like 4th Sunday from Easter Sunday or something?

It ends Saturday, March 30th--the day before Easter. @topic I'm giving up my 3DS. ;~;
February 17, 201312 yr Author I did once. Tried another time. But TBH I don't give a shit about it anymore. Well all I could say is that Lent improves the values of self-denial, endurance, commitment, self-control and could initially make you a better person. So it wouldn't hurt if you want to attempt it someday. but do as you want, I won't judge. (ps Sundays are basically cheat days )
