ABOUT 

When darkness
stretches to the far corners of the planet, who will be there to take

it out? When light is nearly impossible to find, who will look for it? On a

world where a legend comes real right before everyone’s eyes, will you save it?

 

LEGEND 

In this world there a
five light houses; light house of the North, the South, the East,

the West and the Core. These light houses fill our world with radiance and

fights away the darkness. But soon a dark cloud will rise and the light houses

will begin to shut off one by one. When this happens a key will be found; a key

to turn on the light houses.

 

SETTING 

Semi-Modern technology (guns, swords, gunblades, spears, arrows, knives, etc.), magic, no big cities,

 

OUTLINE 

You’ll start where
ever you wish but people must begin to group together at least by

page 3-5. No one may know where the key is or who will have it or even what it

may look like; just simply that it is. Once everyone is together and has formed

a party, we will head out in search of a way to turn the lighthouses back on

and the key of legend. At this time we will be confronted by the person who has

caused the light houses to turn off in the first place.

I will post characters throughout the RP but
they will all be dark as they will guide you to end of the story.

These characters will not be filled out by
character sheet but I will describe them well enough that it will give all the necessary
information needed

I actually want to make a sequel!!!

 

A dark cloud grew and grew of the western isles by the Terrea
Lighthouse; covering Esperanza Town, Rising Hills and Othello, anywhere nearby
was able to see the gigantic cloud in the sky. This cloud has been hovering for
a few days and then out of nowhere… the Lighthouse went out; creatures of pure
darkness began to rise and attack people for no reason as if they had no
control, just doing it for fun. They came in many different shapes and sizes
but none have been to big ……yet!

The cloud seems like its heading here” An old man in Rose Town began.

“I wonder what this means… you don’t think that-“Another man responded
but was cut off by an elderly woman.

“Shhhhh!!!! Don’t even think of that! If it went out we would be in
grave danger!” She forewarned. 

"H-Hey wait!" Jordan hurried after Joshua. "What if someone's waiting for us?" Jordan entered the lighthouse too."Interesting. I always thought...Never mind. As well you and me are together, I can tell you about Jordan. For starters, he was annoying. Constantly asking me for my opinions, nagging me to death, it was horrible, but he wasn't that bad. Suddenly there was a man who mocked my family. I killed him, and...don't remember much, other then running away for some reason," Melissa explained. "And--does something seem a little...off to you?"

"I'm never the enthusiastic one." Joshua explained to Jordan, "You should take advantage of this! You wanted to come here, right?" Joshua asked with a poorly concealed smirk."He seems as though to be the same age as Joshua, however, of opposing personality. Joshua's always been rather mellow, and emotional. He claims that if something were to cost him his life, he would much rather die than kill someone or something. A modest and noble goal, but the human heart and mind are in no way the same with decisions." Dante explained to Melissa, and looked down with a sharp glare to the entrance of the place. "Or, rather...usually the mellow one." Dante brought down fresh water from within the clouds and slurped it gently. "Whatever do you mean? If some things were to get out of hand then I would have no trouble in putting them to a stop. Or perhaps you mean the dark cloud that disrupted the light. It's perfectly normal, actually...."

"Are they here already? Could it be? And what about the lighthouse? Sometimes I ask too many questions!" Melissa said frantically. Unlatching her gun-blade, Melissa searched the town quickly. "Of course the cloud's normal, but that other aura..."

 

"I know, but I just wanted to see my sister here! I'm sure she's here! Not snoop around in the darkness! One could get corrupted!" Jordan exclaimed quietly.

"Shall we wait for them, or go down ourselves?" Dante asked Melissa for her preference, before glancing over to her. It was true Dante's aura emitted a sense of comfort, but it still held both light and darkness. "Perhaps I do sense the aura, and perhaps I don't. Whatever the case, I do not the the aura in which you're trying to inform me of." Dante said calmly."Well, what exactly do you prefer to do, Jordan?" Joshua asked him curiously, standing in front of him with a small glance.

Terrea Lighthouse:

As the two newly acquaintances entered the pitch black light house the two companions  could only about four feet away. Small noises occurring near them as if a rat or something. A stair case that lead both up and down the light house's center; the two could obviously assume that the stairs up would lead to where the light should have once been. 

 

The Cloud:

The Cloud now rested above the northwestern corner of the Valley of Echos and the southwestern corner of the Desert of Daius spreading out ward. 

 

First 'Boss' (Video game title lol ):

A man stood at the top of the Terrea Light House; looking out across the land east of him. "Darkness will soon take this world..." The man wore a black robe and hood. His white hair barely peeked out of his hood and over his eyes, just barely shining through it was his his red sinister eyes.

Jordan's lip quivered. "I guess leave." Jordan left the lighthouse into Esperanza Town."Well, I personally think we should go down, but that's me..." Melissa said. "Sis!" Jordan shouted when he saw Melissa. "Jordan?!" Melissa was surprised. She walked over to him. As she walked closer, Jordan's face changed to fear. "You...look different..." "Indeed..." Melissa replied. Two demonic arms crept out from Melissa's back. "Melis-Melissa! You're weird!" Jordan backed away, and started to run. Melissa made a face similar to a scowl. The arms inched slowly toward Jordan, and suddenly rushed right to him. They flicked his spear away from his grasp, and coiled near his body, grabbing him by the waist. The arms retracted him back about two feet within Melissa. "Melissa! What's happened to you?!" Melissa didn't say a word. Instead, she took her gun-blade and aimed it at Jordan's head. "MELISSA! YOU WOULDN'T!" Jordan screamed.

(That was a short-term comittment to get here.) Joshua thought to himself, before Melissa came down. His eyes suddenly bulged and his pupils shrunk in fear, despite Jordan being the victim. Zoned out for a few seconds, Joshua eventually snapped out of it. "J-Jordan...!" He yelled. Melissa's arm suddenly twitched backwards and dropped the gunblade onto the floor. Joshua was controlling her blood. Whatever fueled the nerves of the demonic arms were also under control, and simply retracted themselves to Melissa in minor pain. As of now, Joshua cracked and twisted the blood and bones of Melissa in fear."So he understands is abilities. That is good." Dante said aloud from atop the balcony of the lighthouse. He stepped out onto the air and controlled himself with wind, rather than revealing his wings. He gently ascended and found himself standing aerially in front of the black-cloaked man. "Are you the one behind this?" Dante asked, glaring sharply and elegantly with his blue eye, while his red eye was still hidden behind the golden half-mask half-monocle. "Regardless of your answer, Earth can surely do without your existence." Dante smirked and combed back his hair calmly.

Melissa doubled over in pain, humming to herself. Jordan fell to the ground on his face. "Ow." He looked at Melissa still twitching. "Joshua! What did you do?" Melissa crawled slowly to her gun-blade, when another spasm occurred, and another wail came from her. Melissa grabbed the gun-blade and shot a bullet to Joshua's head. Jordan got his spear and blocked the bullet with his weapon. His spear was made of very powerful steel. "N-Now you D-Die!" Melissa yelled, getting up again, partially controlling her blood. Jordan kicked Melissa in the leg and stole her gun-blade. He hurried beside Joshua. "It happened so fast! My own sister...almost killed me!" Jordan whimpered, crouching down.

Joshua was now un the most intense fear for his entire life, ever since he started his being as an orphan. (How is that even POSSIBLE?!) Joshua asked himself in his head, frantically. A spear deflecting a bullet, NOT an everyday occurence. But still..."Th-thank you, Jordan!!" Joshua exclaimed nervously and his life still at the verge of flashing in his eyes. "And yes. She almost killed me too!!!" Joshua exclaimed again.

 

Dante quickly realized the situations the youth was in, and quickly surrounded the man of darkness in a ring of fireballs, each barreling towards him simultaneously as a distraction. Dante, admist the combustion, came down to the man and brought him to the ground. "Forgive me, my dear, sweet, Melissa, but I cannot allow you to progress this occurence any further. I've accepted your resignation." Dante said calmly and nonchalantly as he dragged Melissa away from the boys and brought her down to her knees. With blood, like Joshua, but more painfully and efficiently, as well as effectively.

"What's your problem? I almost had them!" Melissa growled. "At least let me take Jordan..." she muttered. "Melissa! Bad Melissa! No killing your brother!" Jordan teased. Melissa didn't care. She shot yet another bullet, knocking the spear out of Jordan's hand.

"To begin, 'almost having them' was precisely the problem, my dear, sweet, Melissa." Dante said, keeping her on her knees. He calmly grabbed her weapons and tossed them aside. "I shall spare you today, but I do ensure that interfering with Joshua or I will be the last of you." Dante said and turned to Joshua and Jordan. "As for you two, stay out of whatever trouble is out of your league. For example...." Dante turned back and glanced calmly at the cloaked, red-eyed man. "....Melissa seemed too much for you two to easily handle alone. Whether it was by shock or for sentimental reasons, what has been done is done. As for this being of darkness, I would think the same. You two may stay, however, it is of your best interest to stay out of conflict." Dante said, with his eyes fixed on the red-eyed man of darkness. "Where were we?"Joshua just obeyed Dante and sat down peacefully, not even knowing whom he was...or, is. He kept glancing back and foirth between, Jordan, Dante, and Melissa, maybe a little bit of Mr. Darkness Incarnate over there, but regardlessly, he merely sat down quietly, imagining him actually getting shot.

Melissa glared at Joshua and Jordan. She took her weapons and ran out the lighthouse angrily. Slashing people ferociously she went to her beloved spot she always visited. "I hate him so much!" "Excuse me, milady! What's wrong?" Felix asked. Melissa's eyes turned red for a split-second. "Leave me alone, Felix!" Melissa aimed her gun-blade at him. "Hold up. I said I would do anything for you!" "I know! Any...thing?" Melissa paused. Change of plans, she thought. "Felix. Can you get someone for me?" she asked him. "Of course! Who? Maxine? Jasmine? Garry? Max? Wally?" he ran through the options. "No. Jordan," Melissa demanded.

Yukari awoke the next morning, sitting down after getting dressed and eating some bread. Today was her last day in the Valley of Echo. She would be either moving to Rose Town or Mirage Town. Most likely she would be moving to Rose Town however her siblings wanted her to go the Mirage Town so she would die in the desert. After eating, Yukari started packing. She gather her clothes, her knifes (her parents didnt know she has these) and other stuff. After this, Yukari said her good-byes and went out to the barn to get her horse that wasn't hers but her 'mother' was letting her use it. It's name was Kodou, meaning forsaken. She headed out into the fields.

The man with white hair and red eyes turned and face the feud that occurred near him then just popped up closer to them. "Your at the Terrea Lighthouse! It's light has been taken from its core and forever put out; letting the darkness free to spread! You don't understand the power of our darkness!" He exclaimed.

 

The Cloud now was above most f the valley of echos and desert of daius, even Mirage Town. The cloud the symbolizes the darkness that was spreading. 

 

Valley of Echos:

Dark creatures rushed through the plains, the looked like a cross between monkeys and wild cats, like a miniature gorilla; using their front legs to push off of to gain speed. The began to slow down when they noticed civilization. (Where Yukari is) The creatures started to close in on the area.

 

 

Dante chuckled a little bit. "Quite literal of you, but I'm afraid it was a more...figurative question." Dante said as he sprouted and bloomed a rosemary flower once again. With a quick and sharp glare to the white-haired man, Dante mentally sent a chain of large combustions pummeling towards the man quickly. Behind all the pressure, heat, and noise, Dante charged up a stream of lightining elegantly dancing across his fingertips.

(Wow. I just got on here and when I was at the main page, you suddenly posted, Schemer...)

 

 

Felix walked into the lighthouse, whistling casually. "What brings you?" Jordan was cautious this time. "Just you!" "Huh?" Felix grabbed Jordan by the arm and ran out. "Put me down! Lemme go!" Felix dropped him at Melissa's knees. Felix then retreated. Because he thought he should. "Alright sis! What's your deal?!" Jordan was weaponless. "I came all this way to find you, and you try to murder me? What thanks is that?!" Jordan demanded. "I..have no problem..." Jordan didn't know what Melissa was going to do. She slowly aimed her gun-blade's blade at Jordan's neck. Jordan trembled with fear. She pulled back and did a vertical slash, as Jordan jumped out of the way. "Please come back to me! I miss you Melissa! I really, really miss you!" Jordan protested. Melissa slashed another time horizontally, and Jordan ducked. "Foul demon! You possessed my sister!" Jordan yelled at Melissa.

(Ok, coolio *I don't know what to say*)

 

Joshua tapped his foot and nearly twitched in nervousness and fear. Then ANOTHER guy came out and out Jordan in front of Melissa AGAIN, where he almost got killed...AGAIN. "Why does everyone want you DEAD?!" Joshua exclaimed as, instead of on Melissa, Joshua used Jordan's blood to drag Jordan towards him. "I'm pretty sure you don't want to die! It's too dangerous!" Joshua scolded Jordan, and then began looking around, paranoid.

"I just miss my sister..." Jordan sighed. He then squatted down and cried hysterically. "Foul damin pazzossad mei sizter!" he spoke gibberish."How did it go?" Felix asked Melissa. Melissa looked down and her demonic hands grabbed Felix by his feet. She held him in mid-air. "Humph. Not as planned, huh?" She hurled him to the ground. "I just need to get rid of my stress!" Melissa yelled, shooting five bullets to the ground, making bullet holes. "What do you think would eliminate that stress?" "Creating yet another causality!" "Okay. Wait here. I'll get another victim!" Felix announced as he sped off. Melissa pouted.

Joshua looked down at Jordan, feeling sympathetic for him. The clouds began dropping-- sprinkling water on the area again. It was Joshua's 'mood' again. "Just...tell me if you need help!" Joshua snapped, letting him go off against Melissa. Joshua went over to Felix and controlled the water from the clouds and streamed them towards Felix, boiling intensely and generating a second or third-degree burning temperature.

"OW!" Felix exclaimed. He aimed his fingers at the ground and blue thorns erupted from the ground, snaking around Joshua like a cage. "That hurts!" Felix shouted. Melissa didn't move a muscle, and just watched as Felix was horribly boiling. Jordan wiped the tears away and faced Melissa again. "You just carelessly let him get hurt?!" he inquired. "What kind of friend are you?!" "No one's friend," Melissa replied.

Yukari stared at the dark creatures, stopping in her tracks.

"What?" she asked.

Her eyes were slightly dazed, and she wield her daggers in her hands. She'd have to break through this if it doesn't maul her. 

"Come on, we can do this, kay?" she said with a slight smile to Kodou.

(He's actually makeing it easier for me!) Joshua thought to himself as the thorns popped and died out as I released the water from them. "Simple enough...." I mumbled and walked out of the now lifeless blue thorns. "That would've hurt a lot...." Joshua continued and glanced from the ground to Felix. "Why are you listening to Melissa? No more innocents need to be killed, no one needs to be killed. Not you, me, Jordan, or Melissa." Joshua said quietly, but loud enough for Felix to hear. The water Joshua had drained from the thorns floated and spiralled by him, not attacking Felix at the moment. The water that was already boiling Felix made a waterfall-like barrier blocking him from escaping unless he wanted his skin to come off.

The man leaned back and grabbed the chain and pulled it forward and out of Dante's hands then rushed up into Dante's face the whispered in his ear. "Darkness resides supreme, light will parish; you self affliction of tug of war with in your soul is no exception...." The man vanished but left behind and afterimage the shattered like a mirror then the pieces became the dark creatures that are at the valley of echos. 

 

The creature began to slowly close in on Yukari and one let out a howl and three others behind it leaped over him and attacked Yukari. The attack has begun! (Sodom... These creature are free to be controlled if you want. they won't stop coming till I say though.)

Dante simply chuckled before the man left. "Looking into my soul, are we? Look closer, along with my mind and heart. Can you discover the truth hidden within the truth?" Dante riddled to toy with the man as he vanished into thin-- or rather dark and thick air. With the drops of water falling down, Dante used it against the creatures by combusting it into a smaller-scale Hydrogen bomb. Not a scratch, and not a dustmark or piece of lint even touched Dante. "More are likely to spawn." Dante stated as he walked slightly ahead with a sharp glare towards Felix.
