May 24, 201312 yr Author Elfqueen of Shannara spoilers Well shit. Cort's dead. Stresa almost died. Owl is dead. Ellenroh is dead. This is so sad and it just makes me want to keep reading. Also, did not see an Ohmsford/Ellessidil union coming. And the secrecy of where the demons came from is also interesting. And Gavilin has some moments were he's very sweet to Wren He better not die.
May 26, 201312 yr Author So now I've taken some time to digest what I've read. Elfqueen of Shannara ending spoilers Everyone. Died. Dayum. Even Garth. I cried at that part. And Coll seems to be becoming a Shadowen. Walker is now a druid. Par is stuck in a cliffhanger seeing someone we don't know who it is yet. I need to go ahead and start reading Talismans of Shannara tomorrow. This is getting very good. Elfqueen of Shannara spoilers And Gavilin has some moments were he's very sweet to Wren He better not die. He did have the personality change but still he died. dang it
May 30, 201312 yr Author Matty Roh: I've decided to trust you Morgan: Thanks Matty Roh: Because if you're not who you say you are, then you are the worst Federation spy I've ever seen Morgan: Forget the thanks. I take it back. This is the first time I've laughed out loud to the series omg
June 2, 201312 yr Author PAR SAVED COLL! PAR SAVED COLL! And wow, those Four horsemen are persistent. I'm interested to find out what Walker's plan is.

June 5, 201312 yr she lost it in Portland. that is a two hour drive from here. ...Get another one? Or give me your address so that I can mail you mine. Because you must read them!
June 6, 201312 yr Author So Padishar was rescued I can sense Matty and Morgan becoming either a couple or very close The Skree is pointing towards Southwatch (where Par is) and the rainbow lake (where Coll was). Coll has the other half of the Skree so that's weird. Was part of the skree carried with par somehow? And Rimmer said at the beginning that he'd send someone for Wren to trust and then to take that trust away from her. We haven't seen anyone new other than Tib Arne. While Tib's story seems to check out I'm pretty sure he's the one. But if he was, wouldn't he have gotten closer to Wren by now? Cogline's death was sad and now Walker needs to go to help the four lands. And then there's Par. While at Southwatch he's had a dream of himself as a Shadowen for three nights in a row. He gets weaker even though he's getting food and sleep and not being very active. Rimmer seems calm about it. And of course there is that one part where according to Eowen the Shadowen were elves. Maybe Rimmer is trying to turn Par into a Shadowen (the obvious speculation I'm sure)? But because it would be easy since he's of elven blood and has the magic. He offered help but that one part of going into Par's mind and making "barriers" is quite suspicious. It all makes me wonder if both Allanon AND Rimmer are telling the truth. Allanon is known for leaving things out to the Ohmsfords. Leaving out how the sword of Shannara would work for Shea. Leaving out what would happen to Amberle to Wil. And can't quite remember for what he didn't tell Brin but it was probably about the Illdatch bonding to her. And now that Shea was meant to get the sword but Coll was meant to wield it. Maybe he isn't telling the full truth still and part of what Rimmer says at least, is the truth. Also, a little bit from the beginning of The Druid of Shannara (about the King of the Silver River) He knew what was needed to save the Shannara children-an act of magic, one so powerful and intricate that nothing could prevent it from succeeding, one that would transcend the barriers that their enemies had created, that would break pas the screen of deceit and lies that hid everything from the four on whom so much depended. Yes, four, not three. Even Allanon did not understand the whole of what was meant to be. Now when you think about the four you'd think that it was Par, Walker, Wren and Coll. But he says that Allanon does not understand fully. So either Allanon doesn't know the full of what's going on (that's a first) or someone else is also very important. Morgan perhaps? He has been pretty much everywhere. With Par originally, then to the Jut, then with Walker, then to save Padishar and now to go after Par again. I MUST READ MORE Oh wow that was longer than I expected it to be. Edited June 6, 201312 yr by Weiss
June 8, 201312 yr Author So Padishar was rescued I can sense Matty and Morgan becoming either a couple or very close The Skree is pointing towards Southwatch (where Par is) and the rainbow lake (where Coll was). Coll has the other half of the Skree so that's weird. Was part of the skree carried with par somehow? This wasn't really explained for sure but speculated by Damson that it was his magic so I guess she was right? And Rimmer said at the beginning that he'd send someone for Wren to trust and then to take that trust away from her. We haven't seen anyone new other than Tib Arne. Maybe he isn't telling the full truth still and part of what Rimmer says at least, is the truth. In the words of Walker, Games within games. This wasn't fully addressed. Maybe Allanon didn't see that both Par and Coll would be the ones to wield the sword? Terry Brooks is too awesome
June 8, 201312 yr This wasn't really explained for sure but speculated by Damson that it was his magic so I guess she was right? Yeah, Par's magic was all wacked out, and that's all the explaining you get. His magic must have somehow absorbed/resonated with it while he was wearing it. This wasn't fully addressed. Maybe Allanon didn't see that both Par and Coll would be the ones to wield the sword? That's what I always figured it was. Terry Brooks is too awesome YES! I just wish his writing would stay at this level of awesome. ;~; Edited June 8, 201312 yr by Zola
