Some questions that might be stupid to people who've played Dream Drop Distance or Re:Coded (I haven't played it), but please answer them anyways.

 

-Why is it that they say Sora wasn't originally supposed to have the keyblade? Yes, I understand that Terra did the initiation thing with Riku, but Ven did the initiation thing with Sora after Ven defeated Vanitas, right? So in the first game, in Hallow Bastion, couldn't Riku have summoned his own keyblade, because Terra allowed Riku to inherit his? If so, why did he steal Sora's, and how did Sora's get stolen? It's Sora's keyblade, not Riku's. And then later, when Terra's Lingering Spirit fights Sora, he says why the not chosen (Sora) has a keyblade, and why it isn't the chosen. (Riku?). (or something like that, my translation's out of whack; I stopped taking classes.) Why would it matter to Lingering Will? Any other person could get a keyblade and face it, it's been ten years. And even if Ven didn't perform the initiation on Sora, and Sora was never meant to have a keyblade, then why would Riku not get the keyblade if he turned to the darkness? And then why did it bounce to Sora? What does the keyblade have to do with Riku? It's at the tip of my fingers, but I can't think of what to type. Wouldn't the keyblade be Sora/Ven's and not Riku/Terra's?  <---sorry if that's confusing, but some people told me that if Riku hadn't turned to the dark, then Sora wouldn't have had a keyblade.

 

-How is Namine's hair blonde, if her somebody, Kairi, is a red haired? And why is her long? Namine looks nothing like Kairi in my opinion, while all the somebody's look the same? For example, Ienzo looks like Zexion. Aeleus looks like Lexeaus, and I'm pretty sure 'Arlene/Larene would look like Larxene. And I understand that Roxas looks like Ven because what happened at the end of Birth By Sleep. But the Kairi thing is completely random. And this leads to:

 

-If Namine were to die a horrible, tragic death, what would happen to Kairi? I thought that once you kill a somebody's heartless (except Kairi didn't have one) and nobody, the somebody would be restored. So if Namine was killed or disappeared or something similar, what would happen to Kairi? This is if Namine randomly walked out of Kairi.

 

-Actually, does anything actually happen to Namine or Roxas after the events of KH2?

 

 -Wait, so because Xemnas and Xehanort's heartless were defeated, what the heck would happen to Terra? I did, in fact, see the Re:Coded secret ending. Yen Sid explains the defeating heartless and nobody thing. So what would happen to Terra since Master Xehanort is restored? Or would the somebody become Xehanort, not Master Xehanort?

 

-Last one! Is it possible that Terra is the Guardian of Xehanort? That dark, black and blue thingy that appears in most of the games. If this is a stupid theory, tell me. My friend tried asking me about then why Aqua had to fight against it when you try to do Trinity Limit with Terra, but the Guardian is trying to fight back. Is it possible that the Guardian could be Terra's darkness, trying to fight back?

The Keyblade Sora has now (Kingdom Key) was Riku's Keyblade. It had chosen Riku but the night DI was destroyed Sora accidentally took it from Riku when he was enveloped in darkness. Sora is a bit of a special case as he didn't undergo an inheritance ceremony nor did Ven's heart allow him the wield, he earned it through all the trials he went through through out KH1 and being stronger than Riku. When one undergoes the inheritance ceremony the bequeathed doesn't get the bequeather's Keyblade, they get their own. Lingering Will is baffled as to why someone else has the Keyblade of the person he chose then confuses Sora for Xehanort. LW isn't exactly stable. 

 

In CoM Namine looks fairly different from Kairi but by KH2 they look almost identical. It has to do with story changes I won't get into now but it's assumed that Namine has blond hair because she took some characteristics from Ven. That's a popular fan theory though.

 

That's a bit difficult to answer because Namine is still in many ways an enigma. In a sense she's a "Nobody" in the truest sense because she came from almost nothing but at the same time she's not really a Nobody because she's missing the fundamentals  only similar in birth. If Namine were to die or something I don't think it would cause much damage though. Namine was born from Kairi but seemingly took nothing from her and if she did Kairi doesn't appear to miss it. Since she's a "Nobody" though then theoretically she might just go back to Kairi.

 

Roxas and Namine are currently just "sleeping within Sora and Kairi.  

 

No one knows for sure what's become of Terr's heart or where it is. Assuming it goes where ever Xehanort's heart goes it's back in it's body proper but still under Xehanort's control.

 

This theory gets tossed around quite a bit actually. I don't know what to think of it tbh, I never paid the theory much mind. Though looking at the final boss fight at BbS's Final Episode the Guardian seems well under Xehanort's control.

Sora isn't a normal Keyblade wielder because he never had the Rite of Succession performed on him. In the end, he got his own Keyblade (Kingdom Key: the one that was originally meant for Riku, but chose Sora for good when he proved how strong his heart was during the "my friends are my power" speech in KHI). Anyway, Sora is definitely a rare case, and wouldn't have been able to accomplish any of this if he didn't have the ability to connect with anyone, but he is a true Keyblade wielder, and Kingdom Key is definitely his now. (Not Ven's or Riku's, like some have speculated.) So in short, even when he loses Ven's heart from within him, he'll still be able to wield.

 

As for Nami's hair color... it's not really known. She is also a special case. And since Axel was reading "The Truth About Naminé" in Days, I'm not even sure she's really a Nobody. That's just the best thing they have to call her. Anyway, some speculate her hair's that color because she might have ties to Ven. And because Roxas is her "twin" Nobody (as they were both created from Sora). There's also the fact that Kairi's a PoH to consider. As Kairi's a being of all Light, that might explain Naminé's light appearance.

 

Well, from what we know from other Heartless/Nobody counterparts in the series, I think she'd be fine. But then again, who really knows? Kairi and Naminé's case is very odd. It really doesn't make sense how Naminé even exists, but I'd say Kairi would be fine. Especially since Naminé gained a heart and became her own person. She just needs to be freed from Kairi, and all should be well.

 

For the most part, Roxas and Naminé are just living in Sora and Kairi after KHII. You do see them in Sora's "dream" in DDD, though (among a few other instances). Well, I think it might have been Xion and not Naminé, but whatev. And at this point, its mostly certain they're going to come back as their own people in KHIII.

 

And no, I really don't think Terra's the Guardian at all. According to the KH3D novel (I think it was the novel, anyway), Xemnas is Terra. He just doesn't have any memories of being him, but has Xehanort's. Keep in mind that hasn't been confirmed (as the novel isn't strictly canon), but it wouldn't be the first time the novel spilled a big truth early. And frankly, I think that makes a lot of sense.

The games never go into detail about it but it seems he was simply chosen by a new one, some time during KH2 if I recall correctly. The exact details probably aren't important.

Well, Terra performed the Rite of Succession on him in BbS (and Aqua accidentally did with Kairi, too), and his heart was strong enough, so he gained the ability to wield one. Anywho, when Riku's heart was weakened by him choosing the Darkness, the Keyblade went to Sora instead (and has stayed there for the most part), but he later proved himself enough to reclaim his rite, and thus his Soul Eater sword morphed into Way to Dawn (I think Way to Dawn was originally Soul Eater, anyway). Hope this helps

Alright, gooby here came answers.

1. Ven wasn't really meant to have the keyblade. Master Xehanort found him and tried to force it by filling Ven's heart with darkness and making him fight a pure light to forge the x-blade. Since Ven resisted darkness, he extracted all darkness in his heart to make Vanitas. Sora and Ven are connected by their hearts because Sora's young pure heart offered to link with Ven's when Ven was brought to Destiny Islands. Riku was maybe never actually meant to have THE keyblade, but Xehanort thought he was in hopes of being able to manipulate him.

2. I dunno. I'm guessing Marluxia glammed her up to appeal to his hidden little girl, scene fetish.

3. Perhaps another character would be formed, like a new type of being.

4. No, its just a dream in KH3D.

5. Theoretically, Apprentice Xehanort should be restored, since his heartless and nobody are of that version of him. Terra is still trapped as Xehanort's vessel.

6.Maybe. I personally believe it is an extension of his being, like wings.
