Check out my review here

I like the game and all but I'd say it's not one of the best. The game was blend and quick, I was expecting more since it was involving the exam...but I was heavily disapointed. I spent the kids christmas break refreshing my memory and playing through all KH titles(except BBS because JPSP was slow at the time, though I had the game at one point)and was excited when I got it in January.

The boss battles were disappointing...and the way you level up to get skills is very annoying and tedious. Playing with your damn dream eater to get good skills takes more time then beating the world you're in. Each world is like 15 mins without interuptions...and flowmation can get you killed and becomes weak.

I was expecting more when fighting Xemnas, the Ansem battle wasn't bad I suppose it was better than Xemnas but still disapointing. I hereby remain to the fact that BBS is much better, better skills, plot development and learning the skills is fun as well. Just go to the arena and you're all good. It's hard to choose between which one I like most out of KH2 and BBS though I'd say the first game is ranked in 3rd place.

That said, Dream Drop Distance isn't terrible, but it isn't spectacular either.

I like the review and I gotta agree it's a great 3DS game. The dropping can be annoying imo but I just used a lot of drop me nots. The boss battles for me were pretty easy in standard mode and medium in proud. Critical makes it a good challenge imo and crit level 1 is where I had trouble. The link board does take a bit to get new skills but I never really watched it too much. The flowmotion was quite fun for me actually. xD I agree the game isn't "spectacular" or terrible but is a good game.

I just think they shouldn't have promised us the masterpiece of the series... it just wasn't.

That was my problem though. We shouldn't have to carry a ton of those items constantly, its very annyoing. I made Sora's abilities similar to what he had in the original KH and that damn drop me not prevented me from finishing that set.

Not to mention its annoying when fighting bosses. I wish I used action replay to stop the drop meter lol.

I found KH3D to be just fine, but I can see the points you make clearly.

NO ACTION REPLAY YET

Interesting. I found KH3D to be better than Birth by Sleep. I thought the storyline took the right amount of time to get to the point and like the twist. The flowmotion is amazing and wild and won't get you killed when using it wisely. The graphics were the best I've ever seen. It's my absolute favorite KH game.

I LOVED kh 3D!! it's totally different so I'm not going to compare it, a reason for me not to like it would be because it lacked sadness.I loved the game but some more on Xion's part, or Aqua, Ventus and Terra's but there was none, too bad.
