New Keyblade wielders have been chosen to be the new guardians of the worlds

Characters-

 

The Defender-

Name: Akito Naizaka
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Appearance: Tall and lean, has short, slightly spiked black hair, wears a red turtleneck fleece and skinny jeans and a scarf
Keyblade: Defender, an array of swirling silvery lines ending in 3 points for the teeth and one at the end.
Ability: His skills increase exponentially when fighting to keep his friends safe and will block attacks toward them out of nowhere
Personality: Bounces between serious and silly. He cherishes his friends enough to risk his life for them.
Bio: A boy left behind. Alone. He couldn't trust anyone. But then he made two friends. His two favorite people in the world. He is fiercely loyal to them. He has stuck up for them on many occasions and isn't scared to get a little roughed up to keep them unscathed.

 

The Mystic-

Name: Kai Hikairi 

Age: 15
Gender: Male

Keyblade: Oathkeeper
Ability: Very powerful light based magic, primarily while using barrier or cure magics, along with being good at using magic from a distance to aid any allies around.
Personality: Somewhat shy around most, usually just listens to others, can be a bit uptight at times, is extremely pleased to be around others in a group.
Bio: The young boy came from another world mysteriously. His heart like others is very different but he can not remember why his heart is so special or more importantly were his homeworld is. Meeting his two friends brightened his world as they helped him adjust him into life on the world. They also try to sometimes help him gain back his missing memories of his past life.

 

The Warrior-

Name: Zion de Wynter/Sione

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Changes: Gold hair that reaches her shoulders, gold eyes (turn blue when Sione takes over) and instead wears black tennis shoes with silver trim.

Keyblade: Forward Unto Dawn: Oathkeeper, but is predominatly gold, with the tips of the angel wings and starburst at the top alternating white and purple with the starburst center cerulean blue.

Ability: Sora of the Group: Light-based attacks mixed with a few ranged attacks to stay balanced.

Personality:

Zion: Cute, girly, and sweet. Always looking for friends and always sees the best in people.

Sione: Complete bitch. More likely to dropkick you out a window then see the best in you.

Bio: Zion was born in Twilight Town, and always had Sione. Her birth was strange at first, having another personality. She was really shy and secluded, but when she met her friends she brightened up. Her friends are what brought her out of her shell, and what finally helped her heart of pure light create it's shadow; a heart of pure darkness for Sione. Sione mostly remains apart, and Zion has done her best to get Kai's missing memories back.

{Arcadia Town}

The town is peaceful and the annual Battle Royal is just a few days away. Fighters of Arcadia Town all eager to join this tournament and earn the title of Royal Battle Champ! Warriors fight with patted clubs (Similar to struggle bats) and fight till either a K.O., a ring out or forfeit. 

 

DAY ONE

'I won't let her win against me.' He watched as Akito walked away while he clenched a fist tightly around his bat. Didn't they see how desperate he was to have something? 'All they do is bring back what I don't know, don't need to have without the most important of all.'

Zion ran after Akito, grabbed his shoulder, spun him to face her, and kissed his cheek.

"I'll buy this time?" She offered. She did look a bit miserable. "I really didn't mean to knock you out..."

She looked ashamed as she lowered her head to stare at her sneakers.

"It's no big deal." Akito said. He turned around as he could feel his face starting to turn red. "It's not my fault I can't take a hit without blocking it. Now go win."

Zion smiled at Akito.

"I promise."

Returning to the arena, she hoped up and brandished her bat.

"Ready Kai? We won't go easy on you."

"I won't lose. Not even to you!" Something inside him screamed at the thought of losing. Kai would not let himself do that. 'My heart will give me the power to beat her. So let's try it.' His stance when defensive while he waited for Zion/Sione to attack him first.

Zion felt uneasy. What was Kai saying? What was wrong with him?

Sione made the first move, a reckless charge straight at Kai.

Zion was readying herself. Kai wasn't like fighting Akito.

 

(Uh, so, aho's gonna win this one? )

(Meh. I want Kai to lose. It sorta goes with his plot.)

Lips sealed as he blocked the attack easily.

He glared with his unusual blue, almost considered sky blue, eyes locking on.

Taking the bat in a reverse grip, saying to himself this was right, before going on to try and hit her quickly at her side.

"I won't lose. I need this to make myself something."

Sione switched off, spinning around the bat and using the momentum to throw a strike at his now unprotected side.

Sione got ready to take over again, their style change a 'signature move' of sorts.

 

(Alright.)

Sliding down low before the strike even had the chance to hit while he smirked.

"I got you now."

A second later before he literally pulled Zion/Sione of her feet.

"Give up already. I won't lose."

So etching felt wrong inside but he wanted this so badly. Maybe it was the greed slowly rising within him.

Zion felt herself rise off her feet, but she didn't give.

"Sorry Kai. I said I would give my best."

As she headed downwards, she angled herself and rolledaway before coming to her feet in a fluid motion.

"I won't make it easy."

"Neither shall I."

Because you don't seem to know anything about how I fight.

Never had he allowed them to see him praticing for good reason.

Bring his own bat down, he aimed at her side while preparing his other hand.

Zion brought her bat up and blocked the blow, then kicked the bat up so she could thrust her bat into Kai's stomach.

"I'll slap you if you do."

"I'll freeze you if I don't."

Gritting his teeth when the bat slammed his chest.

He'd have to keep her moving against him.

"I don't care what either of you think either."

Slamming his foot into her knee, his bat collide with one of Zion's arms with surprising power.

"Noe just deal with it, sweetheart."

He mocked her love of Akito.

Her bat flew to the side. She went to a knee.

When she glared up, one eye was gold.

The other was a beautiful cerulean blue.

 

Zion and Sione swept their leg across his, knocking him down before rolling out of range and hobblying over to scoop her bat up and turn around to move into a defensive position. Her knee was hurt. Bad.

"How..."

-Dare...-

"You..."

Something finally clicked in his head. Akito and Zion had each other.

He had no one. Nothing to care for him.

"I surrender......"

Snapping his own bat in half, dropping the pieces to the ground, before he ran.

This wouldn't change anything for him.

He was always going to be alone.

Running out of view, turning sharply around the corner, as he headed to the fountain.

He just couldn't stay any longer. No one would need to worry about him ever again.

 

(Haha. I think the only ship I'm in is Rixku/William (KH13) and Ventus.)

"What the-?" Akito ran in Kai's direction. "Come on," He said, passing past Zion. 

 

What the heck was that about? He thought to himself.

 

Something's up with him... He may need my help...

Zion walked over and knelt down, picking up the broken bat.

She didnt want this.

Zion rose shakily to her feet, and started heading for Kai. He just turned the corner, right?

She barely heard the crowd, the judge, as she limped there.

"Why the hell should this hurt!?"

The fountain had frozen over at the touch. Red gleamed from the gashes spilt on Kai's hands.

"This shouldn't hurt so bad....."

Being alone shouldn't be so horrible. He had never truly known anyone.

"This shouldn't be....."

The necklace. His own necklace laid at the center of the fountain.

"I give up....."

No one would care if he wasted away anymore.

They could all move n without him, right....?

"IDIOT!" Akito came out of nowhere and punched Kai in the side of the head. "Why did you run from us!?" He demanded. "You wanna' get a way!?" He grabbed his collar. "You remember what happened yesterday? We shared the fruit." His grip slackened. "We're all in this together. The three of us. Nothing will change that. Okay?"

"I. Give. Up. Why don't you understand this?"

Because I thought you would. I'd would make this easier.

"I'm tired of feeling so broken....."

Tired of being put through this.

"I'll never know anything that I want to know. Everything brings back pain because I can't remember."

Remember why it made him feel that way.

"Can't you understand this?"

"No..." Akito said slowly. "I don't understand... But I do know this. Don't call yourself broken. Because without you, I'll be broken. Zion'll be broken. We keep each other together. So don't leave us! We're all friends because we care about each other. We'll carry each other's burden's because WE CARE." He looked to the sky. "You know what, Kai." He said. "I'm going to make a promise to you right now. I'm going to get us out of city. Out of this world. And we're gonna' find your answers." He began to walk away. "Don't forget it."

"I hate it when promises are made. Promises that will never be kept."

Because those are always the worse.

To bear the pain of dealing with such a weight.

"I'm gone. I can escape by ,uself somehow."

Then I can disappear forever.

Somewhere no one else can reach me at.

He just needs some time to unwind. Akito thought to himself. Maybe a woman's touch could help... figuratively speaking of course. He shuddered at his own misinterpretation of thought. He was intent on keeping that promise though. It was getting late. But he was off to the library and he was going to do something that he hadn't done in a while. Research. Lot's of it. He was going to find an answer. He was going to keep that promise!

That was around the time Zion bitch-slapped Kai. Hard.

"You idiot. You complete and utter idiot. You had me. Now you quit? Because you can't remember?"

Zion started shouting.

She never shouts like this.

"YOU ARE ONE OFOff BEST FRIENDS. I WOULD MISS YOU TENFOLD MORE THEN YOU MISS YOUR MEMORIES. SCREW AMNESIA. YOU HAVE MADE MEMORIES WITH ME AND AKITO. SO STOP BEING SO SELFISH AND GET IT THROUGH YOUR BattlsHIP THICK SkulL. WE. ARE. YOUR. FRIE DS. AND WHEN WE KEEP A PROMISE -"

Another slap. -We keep it.-

Zion tossed the broken bits of the bat at her feet. "It's time you grew up and realize, like it or not, you are connected to my heart, Sione's heart, and Akito's. Stop being selfish."

Zion tur ed and started to limp away.
