Personally the logo for Lightning Returns turns me off. I get a nostalgia kick from the font and style of traditional Final Fantasy logos. I think something like this would have been better or with the subtitle Lightning Returns rather than it be the header. Not a big deal but what do you all think?

The reason they didn't name it 13-3 is because you only have control of one character (Lightning) during this game instead of multiple ones. So it's unlike any Final Fantasy game thus far where you've been able to change characters. You can say that Crisis Core FInal Fantasy 7 was the same where you only had control of Zack, that's why the name of the game wasn't Final Fantasy 7-2 or something?

Right, I know that. but even Crisis Core stuck to the style guide of the usual Final Fantasy Logo.

I think the logo is fine personally.

i didnt really pay much attention to the logo

The LR: Returns logo looks fine to me.

Besides this is supposed to be different than any other FF game to date, as Nomura said this would be "The most polished Final Fantasy game to date".

Point is, it's so much different from the other games(Especially since its the first actual real Action RPG KH style FF that will be released, VS XIII will be the 2nd) that im ok with the logo being different.

I still call it XIII-3 since i like it better, but the logo is fine for me.

It looks like some of the older FF title logos.
