If you are currently reading Nothing Lost, Nothing Found, it would seem that I'm going to have to deprive you of it for some time. During the stressful, snowy ride to school today, I was struck with a great story idea. In this world, almost equal to humans in population, live dragons. Dragons of all kinds. They are regarded as tools, friends, pets, and many of the sort. Dragons owned by humans for farmwork, war, competition, and more. In this world, there is a girl named Robin who works on her family's farm. Her father, Humphrey, is a Rider, a competitive dragon tamer and is occasionally drafted to military service. Humphrey is more or less a failure but Robin looks up to him greatly nonetheless. She dreams of becoming a Rider, and her way with the dragons on the farm may give her a chance. Aside from the fact the Rider's School is available to sons born of nobility. But of course, this being an epic tale, she'll make it to the School somehow but that's just the beginning.
