Hey everyone, here's a new poem that I've come up with, and special thanks for my Dearly Beloved girlfriend Inori for always inspiring me, and also to KingdomHearts3, who gave me the name for this poem. I hope you all enjoy it! ^_^
Walking In The Light
Making your way through the darkness,
you see a blinding light.
After all things that were, it comes to this,
there's no time to fight.
The light slowly embraces you, filling you with hope,
as you see the dawn of a new day, enormous in scope.
We hold on to ourselves, amazed by the safety of the light,
but always make sure to keep a distance, for even light can strike.
A body that was once overtaken by darkness, is recovered anew,
for all that see this light, are the blessed few.
Be strong and defy your destiny, because it isn't written,
the choices you make, are what make the world listen.
Never back down from the path you've chosen,
and live on for those who have fallen.
For there is no greater triumph that one can make,
than to walk along the light, and defying your fate.
