I mean, if they took the Mark of Mastery in order to become Keyblade masters and be able to save the BBS trio, shouldn't they know a little backstory on the people they're saving first? I mean, Yen Sid could've easily  told them about that when he was briefing them on what they would find in the Sleeping Worlds. But nope, they completely ignore the fact that they could tell them, just like how Riku and Namine ignored the fact that Sora was asleep for a year. Seriously? That doesn't make much sense why they wouldn't say anything by now.

I know Roxas rejoined Sora, but i meant that his Physical body was probably destroyed when he joined Sora, and that he remained with him as a spirit.

 

And the only thing about the fact that Sora doesn't wield just because of Ven, is that is never said in the actual games, which can make people assume that Ven's heart is the only reason he can wield. That's what i thought at first.

 

 

His body wasn't destroyed . He merged with Sora.That's Sora's physical body why would it be destroyed ? That makes no sense. Sora was the walking heart  to Roxas' physical body .Body plus heart = whole person ...

 

As for Ven's heart ,people only assumed that was the reason after BBS. Before then they didn't really know about Ven's heart. This stuff wasn't explained yet . So for all the previous games there wasn't a reason .One thing fans do complain about however is that some info isnt really confirmed in game but By nomura's interviews sometimes.But most of the time it is but people just don't read the reports or pay attention or it's not explained till a future game and they don't realize it.

He never was presented as Ven and he's not . Roxas just harbored his heart since it took refuge in Sora therefore giving Roxas Ven's appearance since the heart shapes the vessel..His heart was asleep as well. Roxas wasn't born with either Sora's or Ven's memories and thats why he was ' like a zombie ' and couldn't remember his past like other nobodies did.

 

Also imo DDD basically retconned a lot of crap that happened in BBS especially the method of making the Xblade

 

 

Ven's heart wasn't 'freed'. It just stayed where it was- in Sora's physical body.

Because it was freakin pointless and add nothing to the plot especially the inheritence ceremony nonsense

 

The "Mark of Mastery" is nothing but a certificate,you can learn the ability to unlock hearts with enough skill and practice without having to enter an exam.Both Sora and Riku unlocked all Keyholes in the sleeping world thus meaning both acquired that power the moment they sealed all of them,they never said you have to go back in a specific time to get it

In order to get the power in the first place, however, Yen Sid sent them back in time. AFTER they achieved that they then received the powers they learned.

Yeah, just like Yen Sid never explained to Sora in KH2 that if they defeat Xemnas, his original self will return..............Suspense.
