Not many can tell, but demons run amuck in this world. Only a select few can see them; and an even smaller number keep them contained. However, such is done under selfish purposes. The Organization of Demon Death Sentences (ODDS) seeks to destroy every demon they can to harvest the powerful, multi-purpose energy they release: deimya. The latest member to the Organization, Akito Naizaka, shows great promise... and innocence. It is yet to be seen how much ODDS will be able to manipulate him.

Weapon Modes:

     – Compact Mode (4 inch cylinder)

     – Extended Mode (6 foot staff with pointed tip)

     – Reaper Mode (scythe add-on to Extended Mode)

     – Ender Mode (Extended Mode's tip detaches, revealing a thin blade to be wielded along with the pointed tip; each piece  approximately 1 meter in length)

Kotori scoffed, not looking up at the figure.

"Why would I tell you?!" she snapped.

(You could have defended)

 

"Because if you aren't this would be the part where my Rutile minces you alive." He chuckled sadistically.

"However, if you are, you would be taken to the same place where I've placed Akito Naizaka."

(You didn't give me a chance to be...)

 

"Fine then you caught me....I'm Kotori Motoyo. Wanted by the ODDS. Just don't hurt Akito. I rather die instead of him." Kotori said, looking up at the figure.

"Heheheh." Kotori began sinking into the sand.

 

The next thing she knew, she was lying down on her side in a large, metal, cubicle room. Her arms were bound behind her back. Her wounds had miraculously healed as well. Akito lay unconscious in the far corner.

Kotori rolled herself around and sat up, making her way beside Akito.

"Akito!" she snapped, kicking his side.

"Akito you have to get up or we will be killed!" Kotori yelled.

Akito sighed and moved into a sitting position.

"Not likely, Kotori. And that really hurt too..."

"Sorry Akito...." Kotori said, sitting beside Akito.

"Not only for kicking you but for everything I've said today....I know I've upset you and made you mad....and I am sorry." She said, looking at Akito rather sadly.

"It's alright." Akito replied."If anything..." he said glumly, looking at the ground beneath him. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay Akito.....I should have listened to you." Kotori said.

There was silence for a moment and she looked at her friend.

"What are we going to do now....?" She asked.

"Enough apologizing." Akito said.

"We need to figure out a plan because... to answer your question... Our kidnapper will be performing his experiments soon."

"W-What?! Experiments?!!" Kotori exclaimed.

"Well....what I know is that ice can break off any lock and fire can burn metal. So you think my ice would be able to break this glass?" she asked, looking at Akito and trying to break the chains behind her back that were binding her hands. 

Akito's wrists became engulfed in swirling flame. He pulled. By the looks of it, hard. When the flames dissipated, his binds remained. "No telling what's really made out of what with this guy." He said glumly.

"Our only hope is that he gets too cocky and then we can take our chance and escape."

"But Akitoooo how do we escape?" Kotori complaint.

She mimicked what he did to try and break his chains, and nothing happened with hers, they stay bound to her wrist.  

"We just got to wait for an opening!" He snapped.

He paused. "Sorry. We can't afford such childish reactions." He told her.

Kotori sighed. 

"Well.....when do you think he'll come?" she asked. 

Akito sighed as well.

"Who knows? Could be hours before he decides to do anything with us..."

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Kotori asked, looking at Akito rather nervously.

"I just... Don't know!"Akito was getting frustrated.

He jumped into the air and dropped an axe kick sending an arc of flame flying into the wall, dissipating on contact.

He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.

Kotori slid away from Akito from a bit. She regret asking so much questions. 

"Hey Akito.....you know we could teleport out of here...." she muttered, looking at her friend.

"He's probably planned that part out." Akito replied.

But he tested it nonetheless. He disappeared, and a split second later he crashed into the wall with a resonant bang. He fell to the ground, disoriented.

Kotori gave a small laugh, looking at Akito.

"You okay?" She asked, walking over to his side and sitting down.

Akito couldn't help but chuckle himself. "Yeah, I'm fine. Definitely a little disoriented."

He closed his eyes. "Just give me a few moments." A few moments passed. He had fallen asleep.

Kotori smiled slightly, leaning against the glass near Akito.

"I wonder what our kidnapper is going to do to us....." she thought.

Akito's eyes snapped open. "No way! Is he—"

Poof.

In a puff of smoke, Akito had disappeared, his clothes remained, but he was gone.

 

...

 

"Nyow that's just cruel." A small voice said. A little black kitten crawled out from Akito's shirt collar. "I can't believe this." He sighed.

(FRUITS BASKET!!)

Kotori leapt back, staring at the cat that had replaced Akito.

"Is this another one of your demonic abilities or he doing something to us?" She asked with a small smile, petting the top of Akito's head.
