Not many can tell, but demons run amuck in this world. Only a select few can see them; and an even smaller number keep them contained. However, such is done under selfish purposes. The Organization of Demon Death Sentences (ODDS) seeks to destroy every demon they can to harvest the powerful, multi-purpose energy they release: deimya. The latest member to the Organization, Akito Naizaka, shows great promise... and innocence. It is yet to be seen how much ODDS will be able to manipulate him.

     – Compact Mode (4 inch cylinder)

     – Extended Mode (6 foot staff with pointed tip)

     – Reaper Mode (scythe add-on to Extended Mode)

     – Ender Mode (Extended Mode's tip detaches, revealing a thin blade to be wielded along with the pointed tip; each piece  approximately 1 meter in length)

"My shirt isn't the best place to be." Kotori snapped, forming more ice below her.

"You better hold onto something." she said, gliding on the ice and making it circle around the wolf. 

Now there was a dome of ice trapping the wolf. She kept gliding across the ice, and as she did, shards kicked up from behind her and shot at the wolf.

"I bet you could do something." she snapped. 

"Don't be enjoying this either." Kotori said seriously.  

"Yes it is! Yes I will! Nyo I can't! Nyo I'm not!" Akito answered.

 

The wolf was a blur of shadow, completely avoiding Kotori's attacks.

 

"Wait..." Akito said. "Maybe I CAN do something! Yes... I can feel it..." He dove out of Kotori's shirt "CHYANGE!" In a puff of smoke, Akito was human... Or rather, humanoid again. He summoned his blade and sent an arc of flame into the dome, getting rid of all of Kotori's ice. He sheathed his sword and held it out, eyeing the dog seriously. "Sit." He was a demon of fire, but his gaze was colder than Kotori.

 

The wolf complied.

 

Akito smiled. "Go wild." He threw the scabbard across the room.

 

The wolf playfully went after it, shrinking down to the size of the pup before it had the chance to make the catch and the blade dropped on it's head before dissolving into flames. The little pup whimpered in pain.

"Akito you're not fair..." Kotori complaint, walking up beside him.

"We'll at least you calmed it down...." She sighed, looking at the small dog.

"Yeah, I guess I did." Akito replied. He kneeled down and pet the little guy.

"He's not totally evil." Akito commented. "You think we can keep him?"

"If he has two personalities like that then sure." Kotori said with a small smile.

She looked around, sighing.

"It's getting annoying being in here...." Kotori complaint.

Akito lifted the pup up and rested him on top of his head. "He can be Kuro."

The newly reformed demon looked adorned their prison. "We really should find a way out..."

"Didn't the wolf come from a small latch over there?" Kotori asked, pointing in the direction the wolf came from.

"Maybe that may be our way out...." She said, thinking for a bit.

"Good idea." Akito said. He summoned his weapon.

"You know what, Kotori?" He started. "I ought to name this thing. Any ideas?"

"Kutabare." Kotori stated.

"Meaning Drop Dead. You make a ton of people drop dead." She snapped, walking over too the hatch.

She didn't have her sword so there was nothing she could do. The guy who kidnapped them probably took it.

"You say it like it's bad thing." Akito said, pulling out the blade and pointing the scabbard at Kuro's hatch. He blasted it open, leaving a gaping hole for the two of them, or rather, the three of them to escape.

"S–sorry..." Kotori quickly apologized.

"Thank you Akito." She said grabbing onto his hand before walking with him and Kuro out of the 'cage'.

Akito smiled as he held onto his companion's hand. It felt nice. Probably not as nice as being pet by her, but nice. "Let's get out of here. But first..." He teleported them into what appeared to be some kind of bunker. "That yours?" He asked pointing to the blade on the other side of the room.

"My sword~!" Kotori exclaimed.

She grabbed it and sheathed it, placing it at her side. Kotori smiled, grabbing onto Akito's hand again, kissing the side of his cheek and imminently looking away from him after doing that.

"Let's go." She said rather quietly.

Akito cleared his throat. His face was reddening. "One last thing." He said, teleporting them into an office-like room. A rather plump, bespectacled man sat at the desk with notes on the demons he had captured. "Kutabare." Akito told him. He snapped his fingers and he and Kotori teleported away as the room became engulfed in flames. They reappeared on the sandy surface of the desert. "ODDS HQ, here we come."

"It's hot again......" Kotori complaint, forming ice below her.

"That's much better." She sighed, forming some ice under Akito too.

"You won't slip on it. Don't worry." She said.

The ice actually kept them cool, even in the desert.

Akito chuckled. "I have bad memories standing on this ice."

He pointed toward the setting sun. "If you can get us a path about 7 kilometers that way, we should be close to HQ."

"I'm still making you stand on it." Kotori snapped.

"A path made of ice, 7 kilometers away? No problem." she said, forming more ice below them. 

"It will fallow us as we go." she said with a small smile. 

"I never said I wasn't." Akito told her. Nonchalantly treading the path she had created.

"What's gotten under your skin?" He asked jokingly.

"Maybe it was the fact that in your cat form, you were helpless. Meaning that I could show off more." Kotori said with a smile, looking at Akito.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Akito said. 

He wouldn't admit it, but Kotori was a pretty pathetic fighter in his eyes. She did pretty well against him, against Kuro, and she held her ground against Cyprien pretty well but otherwise...

The sun had completely set by now. The stars were bright enough to light the way for the two, or rather, three of them, but an unnatural force blackened their surroundings completely. 

"This isn't good." Akito commented.

Kotori looked up, stepping back a bit.

"What do you think itis though?" she asked, looking at Akito. 

"I might have an idea." Akito replied. He manifested Kutabare. Even his demonic flames wen't enough to dispel the shadows.

"This is not good at all..."

"Well if your flames couldn't dispel them, my ice probably wouldn't be able to do a thing...." Kotori sighed.

"What to do now..." she asked, shaking her head. 

"Well, I think it's best that we—" Akito's voice suddenly disappeared.

Kuro whimpered, curling up at Kotori's feet.

Kotori looked at Akito, puzzled. 

"Akito...?" she asked, tilting her head a bit. 

Kotori banished the ice below her, staying silent.
