Not many can tell, but demons run amuck in this world. Only a select few can see them; and an even smaller number keep them contained. However, such is done under selfish purposes. The Organization of Demon Death Sentences (ODDS) seeks to destroy every demon they can to harvest the powerful, multi-purpose energy they release: deimya. The latest member to the Organization, Akito Naizaka, shows great promise... and innocence. It is yet to be seen how much ODDS will be able to manipulate him.

     – Compact Mode (4 inch cylinder)

     – Extended Mode (6 foot staff with pointed tip)

     – Reaper Mode (scythe add-on to Extended Mode)

     – Ender Mode (Extended Mode's tip detaches, revealing a thin blade to be wielded along with the pointed tip; each piece  approximately 1 meter in length)

"I'm sorry dear. But it's just you and me now."

That voice... it was Cyprien.

(WWHHHYYY)

 

Kotori's eyes widen, her wielding her sword and creating a dome of ice around the two with Kuro on her side. 

"Cyprien." she said seriously.

"Why did you take the appearance of Akito? Because he is my friend?!" Kotori yelled. 

"I'm afraid you might be a little confused." Cyprien replied. The dark haze dispersed. They were in a white room. Akito was slumped against a wall, shackled to the wall by his wrists. His face always pale. He seemed on the edge of death. "Such a poor soul." Cyprien commented. "Tell me, Kotori, why are you accompanying this traitor?"

(Gyyaa my mind is missed up now ╭(๑¯д¯๑)╮ )

 

Kotori stared at Akito for a bit before looking back at Cyprien.

"Because he found me and was one of the few who has be able to see me. He actually cared. All of the others that could see me would fight me. They would either lose and never return, or win and never return. Mine and Akito's match was a draw. Akito actually came back to see me after our fight. That is why I am accompanying him!" she said seriously, looking back to Akito. 

Cyprien chuckled. "He cares?" His hand became engulfed in a bright red flame.

"He pities you more than anything." The flames shaped into monstrous demons and then scattered away in the form of snow.

"Shall we delve back into your memories, Kotori?"

Kotori shook her head.

"You're wrong!" she yelled. 

When she called her ice, it did not appear. Kotori clenched her first, nodding to Cyprien. 

(So I'm just gonna write out this epic plot twist in a separate document and copy and paste once it's finished)

(Alright~!) 

Cyprien smiled. "You're strangely agreeable, Kotori." He said. Darkness took over again. When it dissipated, all that could be seen was white. "We've been here before haven't we?" He asked Kotori. "But there's something you hadn't noticed." A small black figure scampered across the snow. "Ring any bells?" The cat had reached a rather quaint building. A house. It crawled inside, climbed up the stairs and entered into the familiar bedroom. The faceless woman held her newborn child. The black cat jumped onto the bed and investigated the small child.

 

The scene shifted and the mother lay sick in bed, her child, now a toddler was asleep on the floor, having stayed by her side throughout most of the night. The black cat she had grown up with jumped onto then bed and looked at the mother. It's face moved closer to hers, it closes its eyes and touched its head to hers. The child's mother had died young.

 

Two years later, after adoption, Kotori Motoyo's life had grown steady. The black cat had followed her around but she had never seen it in those five years. But after five more...

 

All that there was was black. Hordes of black monsters and flames everywhere. A black fox with seven tails confronted Kotori's adoptive mother. Its tails wrapped themselves around her and squeezed, choking the life out of her. When it let go, she fell to the ground. Dead. Elsewhere, some dark creature that looked like some kind of bear with white bone-like armor on its shoulders and head. It's claws were the same. It struck down Kotori's father in a single blow, crushing his entire midsection with its massive paw. The black cat was larger. It was the size of a tiger and with a more fox-like appearance, but still clearly feline. It ran upstairs, its paws igniting flames in its path. It crashed into a bedroom and eyed the scared little girl in the corner. It walked toward her. Slowly. Embers scattered from its gaping mouth. Inches away from the ten year old Kotori, the demonic cat that had been following her her whole life was about to end it.

 

The image before the true Kotori dissolved. She was back in the white room, Cyprien beside her, and in front of her, in Akito's place, the fox-like cat that had been following her her entire life stood ready to attack, but hesitated.

Kotori watched as the images ran on by, she hesitated watching her parents death. One everything was over, Kotori faced the creature. She was defenseless, without a weapon and her commanding ice wouldn't do a thing. She had her other abilities though. She had darkness....and the ability of internal rupturing. She stepped back some, an aura of darkness surrounding her. 

Even though she didn't want to, Kotori had to accept her demon abilities. She had to accept the fact that she was a demon. Something....something was off about this creature though. It didn't want to fight her. It was hesitating. 

"Is this what I have to do....Cyprien...? All I have to do to earn Akito and my life back?" Kotori asked, making a blade of darkness in her hand. 

Cyprien smirked. "I'll leave it to you two to settle this dispute." He told her.

He took a step back and he became engulfed in crimson flames and disappeared with them.

The feline demon growled slightly.

Kotori hesitated to attack, she looked at the demon before doing anything. 

"If that is really you Akito...don't be afraid to hurt me..." she said, making the blade be engulfed in a dark poison before running towards the demon with the blade, stabbing it's shoulder quickly. 

The demon grimaced as the blade plunged into it's shoulder. It snarled as its other paw became engulfed in flames, it swung at Kotori, knocking her away. It didn't make another move against her, instead it stood there, wary of her next attack. Its crimson eyes burned with fires of animosity. But something was holding it back.

Kotori slid back, slowly standing up.

"Stop being hesitant." She snapped, clenching her teeth.

Her eyes didn't say that at all. Kotori's eyes were filled of sadness saying 'Please stop, I've had enough. Just let me and him be free'. Kotori tried to hide that though.

She stumbled back some from the burns the demon caused.

"Im sorry Akito...I'm so sorry...." Kotori thought.

She lift her right hand some, tightening the muscles in the creatures wounded shoulder, quickening the blood flow some. Kotori quickly stopped internally hurting the creature with those powers. It was too much for her. She fell to her knees, looking at the pain the creature was going through.

"You can kill me. You can do anything you want with me. You are the winner." Kotori said, dropping her sword.

Darkness began leaking off of the demon like smoke, its form retracted, eventually leaving Akito there. But it wasn't Akito. Not on the outside, though. His eyes burned with the same fires as before. He had been sent back in time because of Kotori. He was forced to endure so much. So much pain through all those centuries. He eventually succumbed and became the one who caused pain. He eventually found Kotori. He infected her mother, he gathered allies and massacred her adoptive parents. But when it came time for him to finish her, the same hesitance was there. But not this time. Kutabare was in his hand. Engulfed in flames of darkness, Akito brought the blade down on the one he both loved and hated with all his heart.

Kotori forced a smile on her face. Kutabare was stabbed straight through her, she looked up at Akito.

"So this is who you truly are, Akito?" She asked.

"Why did you do this to me....?" Kotori muttered.

Akito's humanity rushed down on him. "Kotori, I..." Kutabare dissolved. What did he just do? What would he gain from killing her? Vengeance? Because of her he was thrown back in time to become a demon himself to survive the Spirit Bomb. Once he realized he was in the past, and that Kotori was human, he couldn't stand it, his own demonic persona was born, full of hatred for the girl. All that waiting for nothing. When he and some allies he picked up attacked her and her family, Akito realized, after it was too late, that he was the one who assimilated Kotori. So then he waited. He kept an eye on his human self waited until the right time to rescue her from Cyprien. But now, who she needed saving from was him. "Kotori, I..." He took a step back.

Kotori stared at Akito, waiting for an answer. 

"Answer me Akito...before you can't answer me at all." she said seriously, looking up at Akito.

"I don't know Kotori!" He fell to his knees, grasping his head. "I don't know what came over me! Waiting and waiting. I just forgot that I was doing it for you! I resented you. But then I realized you survived that night. Everything was as it should be. So then the waiting became worth it. Then the pain came back. All that cold. It was so cold, Kotori. I just had to stop it. I became a monster. I don't know Kotori. I don't think I can answer you."

Kotori pulled Kutabare from her chest, stumbling over to Akito. She embraced him for a second, tears started to fall from her face.

"You're telling me you don't know what happened to you...or why you did this to me...." She said quietly, she broke from the embrace.

"I really don't know what happened to me either..." Kotori muttered.

Akito felt something slip inside him. A piece of him fell away. He survived the spirit bomb because of Kotori, he had taken some her life force. Now it was fading. "Kotori... I think we're both about finished." His skin began peeling away in little tongues of fire and embers. He could see her essence fading into snow as well. "What do you think? He asked her. "We're both technically dead already. What happens when the dead die?" He took her hand. "I'm sorry I did this." He leaned in. "Can you forgive me?" He gave her small kiss. The universe denying him an answer, the room became engulfed in a mixture of fire, cherry blossoms, and snow. Two lovers. Once human, then demon, now dying, faded away together, denying the mastermind of ODDS his answers to the mysterious cases of what brought them together. In truth, it was an impossible thing. A human can't possibly become a demon. But just this one time, fate brought the hunter, and the hunted together through impossible circumstances, and, through much struggle, gave them time together, and an end together.

Kotori gave the smallest smile before the two fade away.

"Yes. I can forgive you." She said quietly.

"I barely remember what happened to me. I remember an attack...and that's basically it. I need to find two people...my parents..." Kotori said a bit sadly.

"So ya. That's basically it. I don't really know much about what happened." she said, looking at Akito.
