Not many can tell, but demons run amuck in this world. Only a select few can see them; and an even smaller number keep them contained. However, such is done under selfish purposes. The Organization of Demon Death Sentences (ODDS) seeks to destroy every demon they can to harvest the powerful, multi-purpose energy they release: deimya. The latest member to the Organization, Akito Naizaka, shows great promise... and innocence. It is yet to be seen how much ODDS will be able to manipulate him.

     – Compact Mode (4 inch cylinder)

     – Extended Mode (6 foot staff with pointed tip)

     – Reaper Mode (scythe add-on to Extended Mode)

     – Ender Mode (Extended Mode's tip detaches, revealing a thin blade to be wielded along with the pointed tip; each piece  approximately 1 meter in length)

"It's okay now...my ice healed the wound." Kotori said to Akito, looking at him blankly.

"Are you going to attack me again?" she asked.

Akito sighed. "You know, I'm not too sure." He thought about it. He took Nightmare Ender out of his pocket and threw it down the alley. He waved his hands around to show that there wasn't any string this time. "There," he said, "I guess I'm at your mercy now."

"Thank you for sparing me I guess, Akito..." Kotori said.

 

There was silence as she enclosed his Nightmare Ender in ice.

"Why did you come back here?" she asked.

Akito gave another sigh. "I'm still not very sure." He ran a hand through his hair. "I guess what you've been saying about wanting to play some has stuck with me. You're lonely... I can relate. I..." he couldn't find the words, "I guess I just thought we could both use some company. A friend."

"So you'll actually try not to kill me?" Kototi asked rather happily.

There was silence for a bit as Kotori stared at Akito.

"Aki...I barely know what I'm saying when I'm fighting someone..." she said quietly.

"Well we aren't fighting now." Akito observed. "Maybe we could have a normal conversation." He turned to face Kotori. "Name's Akito. Thought it'd be nice to give a more... informal introduction if ya know what I mean."

"Kotori Motoyo" Kotori said, staring at Akito. 

She then realized what she did to Akito yesterday.

"Oh! Sorry for stabbing you yesterday...you were scarry..." she apologized the slightest bit childishly. 

Akito chuckled. "I guess we're even." He said. "I got you leg, and you got my back." He stretched his arms to confirm that his back had suffered no harm since there encounter. "I'm fine however." Akito's gaze sharpened toward the end of the alley. "Did you hear something?"

Kotori gave a small nod, relieving her daggers she usually has with her.

"Akito...do you think it will attack us?" She asked quietly.

Akito was unsure of what she meant.

 

"It?"He asked. What could this "it" be?

"Whatever that sound was...it could be anything, right?" Kotori asked, looking up at Akito.

Akito cursed under his breath. He tackled into Kotori pushing her back before a green... arrow of some sort struck the ground where she was. "Run!" He shouted He dove for Nightmare Ender, he created a puff of smoke as he extended it to cover their escape. He grabbed Kotori's hand and ran away with her.

Gosh, that happened way too fast. Kotori gripped onto Akito's hand, soon the two got somewhere safe.

"Th–That was scary..." she said quietly, shaking a bit,

VENGEFUL INTERRUPTION

(I guess I deserve this)

 

"Stay here." Akito said to Kotori. "There's more than likely a lot of them. I'll try and hold them off while you stay hidden. If anyone asks, I was under your control." He dashed off toward the commotion. Three scouts. One of them female, probably Eri, a fellow rookie who had climbed the ranks of the Stealth Squads.

 

 

 

 

Akito jumped at them, knocking one aside with the blunt end of his staff. He ducked under the second and flipped him into the first. Before he could engage Eri, she had launched a net charged with deimya at him, he was thrown back, unable to move.

(lol...Legend Of Korra...has the second season run yet?)

 

Kotori watched the fight, still scared. Once Akito was hit, Kotori showed herself.

"Why did you hurt him? He's apart your team..." she said quietly taking her blade.

(it was officially announced several months ago that it'd be "soon" Hopefully this summer)

 

Eri walked toward the demon girl. "He made the aggression and was already under suspicion. No doubt you're the cause of it." A green blade of energy extended from her gloved hand as she charged Kotori.

Kotori's eyes widen and she teleport to Akito, safe.

"Come and catch me~" she actually taunted wii

"I won't need to do anything." Eri replied as her blade dissipated. With a snap of her fingers, a trio of glowing green orbs appeared and rushed towards Kotori. "These'll catch you long before I can it seems."

These things were far to fast for Kotori to dodge. Her fear making her fail at teleportation. In a second, Kotori was caught by some force, desperately trying to get out.

"Let me out! I didn't do anything! Let! Me! Go!!!" she yelled.

Akito was struggling to free himself from the deimya net. "You're the one who made him like this." She accused Kotori. She walked over to him. "Why, Akito?" Her voice seemed sad. She pressed a button on her arm and the net released the boy. She tossed him a wireless controller with one trigger. "Prove you're still loyal." Akito picked up the control and looked desperately at the trapped Kotori.

"Stop it! Akito! Stop!" Kotori just yelled.

She couldn't do anything but beg for the help she wouldn't get, beg for her freedom she wouldn't get, beg for Akito to not hurt her.

Would Akito actually hurt her again?

Her magic didn't work, she was trapped, and there was no way to get out of this net force-like thing.

Akito dropped the controller. Eri was reluctantly expecting this and at the first twitch of his hand, her blade was out and she was running towards him. Akito himself expected such a reaction and Nightmare Ender extended in his hand, piercing her center before she could reach him.

 

"Akito..." Eri muttered. Her body went limp.

 

Akito pulled the staff out of his ally. His friend. He killed the one person who stuck with him through all that training. He looked to Kotori. Disbelief plastered his face. Her confinement disappeared. Not sure of what to do with himself or the demon girl, he ran.

"Aikito!" Kotori called.

She started chasing after him, she just ran a couple of steps before she tripped right over Eri. Her eyes widen. This was her first time actually seeing a real dead person.

"A-Akito!!" she called again, frightened.

Kotori quickly got up, starting to chase after him again. After about three minuets of this, Kotori got a bit mad and teleported straight in front of Akito, him running into her, however her managing to stop Akito.  

Akito stumbled back after hitting Kotori. He took a step back. He smashed the ground with the tip of his staff sending up a huge puff of smoke between them as he ran the other direction.
