Not many can tell, but demons run amuck in this world. Only a select few can see them; and an even smaller number keep them contained. However, such is done under selfish purposes. The Organization of Demon Death Sentences (ODDS) seeks to destroy every demon they can to harvest the powerful, multi-purpose energy they release: deimya. The latest member to the Organization, Akito Naizaka, shows great promise... and innocence. It is yet to be seen how much ODDS will be able to manipulate him.

     – Compact Mode (4 inch cylinder)

     – Extended Mode (6 foot staff with pointed tip)

     – Reaper Mode (scythe add-on to Extended Mode)

     – Ender Mode (Extended Mode's tip detaches, revealing a thin blade to be wielded along with the pointed tip; each piece  approximately 1 meter in length)

 

 

 

 

Sodom will post her character in whatever detail she'd like and then we'll get started.

"Akito!" Kotori called once more.

She ran a couple of steps ahead, then just stopped.

Tears started to form in her eyes, and Kotori started getting very confused. What was she doing? Why doesn't Akito just stop. Why can't she chase after him anymore.

"Akito!" she yelled again.

Ice began to form below her, staring to trace along the concrete below, and up the sides of some buildings, the ice growing slowly.

Akito ran. He had no idea what to do with himself. Not three days into this demon hunting business and his upside world had been turned even more upside down! According to that logic, things should be normal but they weren't.

 

"Hold there, Akito."

 

Akito suddenly stopped. That was the voice of... 

 

Out from behind the corner stepped Director Cyprien Mur.

 

 

 

 

 

"You can't run forever." He said.

Fear grew with Kotori's tears. She began calling out Akito's name again, however her voice only a whisper. The air temperature dropped, more ice forming up the buildings and beginning to streach its length span out on the ground. It was now so cold you could see your breath, Kotori's calls becoming slightly louder.

"Hm?" Cyprien looked to the skies. The air was cooling. "Come with me, Akito, someone seems to be looking for you."

 

The distraught boy had no choice but to heed his master's orders, he trudged behind the Director as they retraced their steps back to Kotori.

 

"Before you say a thing, demon girl," Cyprien started, he put his hand on Akito's shoulder, "here." He pushed him toward her. Akito stood there, equidistant from the two. The choice was his. Or was it? "I would allow you to decide now, Akito. Perhaps we should here what your little friend has to say before I try you for treason."

"Akito..." Kotori said quietly.

The air returned to normal, and the ice disappeared.

"Who are these people? Why do they want to...capture you and be mean to you...and kill me...? Who is that?" she asked, her eyes turning to Cyprien.

Kotori's tears have stopped, her eyes back into the deep purple dark gaze they were always in.

"I am Kotori Motoyo by the way. Not 'demon girl'." she said bluntly.

"It makes no difference to me." Cyprien said bluntly. Before any of them realized it, a deimya had pierced Akito's shoulder. He fell to the ground. "I'll leave you two together for now. You are both our enemies. You have no right to ask questions. You only have 24 hours. 24 hours and then our hunt begins." He turned and began walking away.

24 hours. Kotori kept this in mind. She gave a sharp glare to Cyprien before turning straight to Akito, yanking the deimya out of his shoulder.

"Akito you idiot..." she muttered.

He would be okay sooner or later. Kotori grabbed the back of his shirt, literally dragging him down the ally-way he had killed Eri in. She placed him down carefully, taking off her jacket and placing it on him. Kotori turned to the corpse of Eri, freezing it immediately. She used her ice to slide it off a nearby hill, and into a lake. Nobody would find her. 24 hours. The two both had to get out.

Akito slowly got to his feet. He stumbled a little but regained his balance. His hand was clenched over his shoulder, trying to squeeze the pain away. "Kotori..." He muttered. "We need to leave. We need to go somewhere. Director Cyprien is insanely powerful. There're rumors floating around the barracks that he subdued the Demon King singlehandedly. It's not just him, but all of ODDS that wants us specifically now. We need to think of someplace to hide."

Kotori gazed at Akito for a second, soon grabbing onto his arm. 

"You're hurt and probably worn out. I know some places to hide but we aren't going to dash off to them like maniacs." she said seriously, snatching his hand away from his wound and freezing the spot he was shot with the deimya. 

"I don't need you pushing yourself too hard, okay?" she asked, still holding onto Akito's arm.

Akito took a deep breath. The ice was soothing. Definitely helping the wound. It wasn't normal ice, that much was for sure. "Alright." He said. "We'll take it slow." She supposedly had some refuge in mind. Would twenty-four hours be enough? Much to his own regret, he could fight if he need to. There was a side of Nightmare Ender that was yet to be revealed; and wether or not she knew it, Kotori was powerful. "Which way?" The traitorous rookie asked.

"North about eight miles then east about five. There is a four way road there. You need to take a left and you will continue through different shops to your left and right. In those stores, there is a small old game store. It looks like it is still in business however it has been abandon for years. There is a back window in the small space between the stores. We can break through that window and it will lead to a restroom. If we open the door to the restroom, we will be at the back of the shop. Near the hallway to the bathroom, there is a hidden door. That leads to a basement. We should stay there." Kotori said quietly, her eyes dazing for a second.

"We don't have to travel there. I will teleport you." she said seriously.

Akito was a little startled by the distance. There was no way they could make in a day. Then she offered the teleportation. He always wondered what that'd be like... He had seen her do it a number of times. It was a very... interesting way of travel. "Alright." Akito agreed. "I'm ready when you." He braced himself. But not really, he had no idea what to expect. He relaxed and waited.

"Okay." Kotori said bluntly.

She imminently teleported, the feeling of teleportation was like a burst of ice then a burst of heat. It almost gave you the feeling you were sick. There were at the four way road, many cars and people wondering about.

"Should we get desciuses or something? We aren't that far from where we were." Kotori said seriously.

"We should be fine so long as we can hide in time." Akito replied. Lot's of commotion was going on. More than what he was used to. ODDS HQ was rather sparsely populated and the demons tended to clear the area before he showed up. "Left, you said?" He asked, attempting to clarify the direction they were going.

Kotori nodded.

"Left." she said seriously, beginning to lead the way. She walked a bit before she let Akito get in front of her, Kotori trying to hide the evidence of her being a demon.

"You do realize that I'm more than likely the only one who can see or hear you, right?" They eventually happened upon an array of stores. Crowded inside and out by shoppers."Point me in the right direction." He whispered. "And don't bump into anyone."

Kotori looked at Akito for a second before smiling.

"You're right. You're fellow workers have been able to see me though and it's been making me paranoid..." she said a bit happily.

She stood closely behind Akito now, walking at his pace.

"Stop and look to your left. There is the shop. Just run." she said, looking at the building. It was stable and looked like it was still running, but you could tell it wasn't.

Akito did as he was told and ran. Hoping that none of the passerby in the area were suspicious of his haste, he hurried nonetheless. He swerved around the rear end of an old, but seemingly running game shop and stopped behind the back. "This the place? He asked Kotori. "... Kotori?" She wasn't there. Akito took a deep breath. He started to slowly countdown from five, hoping that she'd teleport to his side before he hit zero, started worrying, and started searching.

The only visible window in the place, the window closet to Akito froze, and the broke apart from the inside. Kotori moved the glass away, freezing the glass and reaching out her hand through the window.

"Akito. Come on. I just opened it from the inside...." She said a bit quietly, looking at Akito.

He looked....rather worried.

Akito vaulted into the room. It was rather... dismal. There wasn't much going on. But at least, hopefully, they were safe. "Are you okay, Kotori?" He asked the demon girl. Her face was plastered with negativity. Maybe she just needed someone to be there for her. A thought entered into Akito's mind. How did she end up with her? If things went how they were supposed to, she should be dead, and he, climbing the ranks of ODDS. Now ODDS was against him. But maybe luck will favor him and his new companion... even if she is an... impure species.

Kotori nodded a very small nod to Akito's question. He had worried her for a second. 

"Akito....who were those people that attacked me and you? What did they trap me with? Why were they trying to kill me Akito?" she suddenly asked all these questions, looking at Akito seriously, yet curiously.

Akito sighed. It was story time. "Not too long ago, people began to realize that I could see demons like yourself; those people invited to join their little... group: ODDS. They put me through rigorous training and when that was finished, they put me out to fulfill their namesake. ODDS: The Organization of Demon Death Sentences. It was our job to kill every demon in site. Yourself included. We considered it a noble cause but I have my theories. When a demon is slain, they give of a mysterious substance called deimya which ODDS members then filter and collect for their own uses. Particularly tools against other demons. Like Eri's weapons, and Cyprien's arrow. It's powerful stuff that they're probably using for their own purposes beyond this so called noble genocide."

"Deimya....why didn't I know that...?" Kotori scold herself.

"Deimya is expired demon power...it is basically demon blood....demon blood that shouldn't be in the body. I have some deimya in me....some...." she said quietly, opening the door that lead to the hallway.

"I'd hardly believe it's just some." Akito replied, quickly entering into the hall. All clear. "You're rather powerful. Haven't met a demon stronger than you. Almost as if you're completely made up of the stuff." Akito paused. There was no way she could be mostly if not even completely deimya. She was too... human...

"I–I–I am?" Kotori stuttered.

She imminently turned around at the deep blush growing on her face.

"I'm not that powerful. There are plenty more stronger demons. I do not understand the concept of deimya." Kotori said nervously.
