Not many can tell, but demons run amuck in this world. Only a select few can see them; and an even smaller number keep them contained. However, such is done under selfish purposes. The Organization of Demon Death Sentences (ODDS) seeks to destroy every demon they can to harvest the powerful, multi-purpose energy they release: deimya. The latest member to the Organization, Akito Naizaka, shows great promise... and innocence. It is yet to be seen how much ODDS will be able to manipulate him.

     – Compact Mode (4 inch cylinder)

     – Extended Mode (6 foot staff with pointed tip)

     – Reaper Mode (scythe add-on to Extended Mode)

     – Ender Mode (Extended Mode's tip detaches, revealing a thin blade to be wielded along with the pointed tip; each piece  approximately 1 meter in length)

"I could also possibly kill someone internally. I haven't tried that before though." Kotori said shortly.

She looked over to where Akito had been, she just turned her attention away from him for a second and now he was gone.

"Akito? Where are you now...?" she asked, looking at where he had been again. 

Akito compressed his staff and reappeared. "Stealthy..." He said to himself. His expression became serious. "You can kill someone internally... But you haven't exactly tried. Be ready to give it a try in case Cyprien decides to give us a personal greeting." He told her.

"Does that mean I get to kill that bastard? He knows he shouldn't get on the bad side of a demon or he's going to get his little butt kicked and I'm not afraid to trap him in ice and internally pierce his lungs and make him bleed from the inside out." Kotori said with a smirk, her eyes slightly dimmed. 

There was silence for a moment as Kotori called down.

"S-Sorry Akito!!" she exclaimed. 

(that actually really scared me...)

 

Akito remained silent until finally exhaling. He knew now definitely not to mess with someone like Kotori. He cleared his throat. "R-Right." He heard a humming coming from outside. "I... I think our time is up."

(The darker side of Kotori.)

 

"W-What? Is he here finally?" Kotori asked Akito. 

'Good. Time to kill them finally.' she thought, wielding her sword.

The humming intensified. It almost sounded like it was inside. Akito's vision began to blur. Things were becoming pixellated. "Kotori?" He could see clearly again. Good, Kotori was still with him. But they were elsewhere. A harsh wind blew over them. After a moment of observation, it became apparent that they were on top of some kind of skyscraper. The thing that looked like a radio tower must've locked onto Nightmare Ender and teleported them there.

 

"How kind of you two to join us." Behind them, Cyprien stood. Alone. "We simply wouldn't have been able to start the party without you."

"There you are. About time." Kotori snapped. 

"What do you want...I don't even know your name anyway. I suppose you know who we are anyway." she said seriously.

Kotori cast darkness on her sword, and stepped in front of Akito.

"Hey Akito....do you want me to try that new ability?" she asked quietly. 

"Miss Kotori Motoyo." Cyprien appeared directly in front of the demon girl. "You may call me Cyprien; and I believe it's for the benefit of both sides that the two of us stay alive. After all, I AM the one with the answers you seek."

"A-Answers?" Kotori asked, looking at Cyprien.

"What answers?" she asked, stumbling back a bit, closer to Akito.

"I know exactly what you're looking for. WHO you're looking for." He took a step forward. "I will tell you everything" he held out his hand to her "so long as you come with me."

Kotori gave a small dark smile, slightly reaching for Cyprien's hand, but then stopping, she stiffened the muscles of the hand.

"Don't ever think I'll betray Akito. He's already helped me a lot." She said seriously.

Her grip on Cyprien's hand tightened, straining his veins.

"Don't move or I'll end of ripping your hand off your body." Kotori snapped.

Cyprien gave a smug smile. In a flurry of glowing green pixels he disappeared. "That was merely a projection, my dear." He appeared behind her. "And I'm afraid that wasn't the only one." Who Kotori thought was Akito dissolved as well. "The little traitor has struck again. It seems he just... ran off without you."

"A-Akito...?" Kotori mummered.

"Akito!! Where is Akito?!!" she yelled, the temperature dropped suddenly and Kotori shot a beam of ice at the real Cyprien.

"Tell me the truth! If you don't then I'll really end up hurting you!" Kotori yelled.

The ice melted by the time it was a meter away from the nefarious ODDS leader. "I can honestly say, I don't know where he is. He's simply gone. I've given the order to teleport him back but he fails to appear. Now calm down, little girl, and come with me. Before I need to resort to force."

(Hahaha. Good Luck getting Kotori.)

 

"Lies!! You know where he is!! I'm never joining you!" Kotori yelled, looking at Cyprien.

"Tell me where he is!!" she yelled, the temperature dropping to where you could see your breath. 

She started shooting icicles, very quickly.

"Tell me where Akito is!!" Kotori yelled, then using her new ability and internally grabbing the muscles in Cyprien's arm.

Cyprien admitted to the pain this time, he snarled as he grabbed onto his arm, trying to squeeze out the pain. The ice was still failing but he had been hit. "You little brat!" With merely a thought, he regained control of his arm and took hold of every fiber of movement in Kotori's body and began to slowly squeeze the life out of her.

 

"You bastard!" Akito appeared behind Cyprien, sword in one hand, sheathe in another.

 

Cyprien stopped him midair and began contorting the boy's body as well.

 

"What... are you?" Akito demanded.

 

Cyprien ignored the question and turned to Kotori. "What if I killed him now? Would you come then? Or if I spared him?" His hold on the two of them tightened.

Kotori looked at Cyprien, pained, flustered, and scared. 

"Akito...you're back..." she muttered.

"Cyprien....let go of Akito. If you spare him..." Kotori paused for a moment.

"I'll come with you." she said quietly.

 Her eyes gazed at Akito, a saddened look on her face.

'I'm sorry....Akito.'

Akito suddenly disappeared and immediately reappeared in front of Cyprien. "The only one who's going anywhere," he thrust is sword into his former leader's chest. "Is you," he said, "straight to hell." He pulled his blade out and the fresh corpse fell to the ground, the blood pooling around it being the same that covered his hand. Akito felt nothing, only a dying rage, fading into more nothing.

(Yandere Akito attack!!!)

 

Kotori fell silent for a second.

"A-Akito...." she muttered.

She then grabbed quickly hugged Akito from behind.

"Thank you...Akito." Kotori said with a small smile in tears in her eyes.

"Thank you." she said again.

(basically...)

 

The corpse suddenly began coughing. Akito kept Kotori behind him and slowly backed away.

 

Cyprien stumbled back to his feet. His white attire stained crimson, and his eyes glowed the same. "Are you familiar with the Spirit Bomb, Akito?" He asked, trying trying to contain his excitement.

 

Akito compressed Nightmare Ender. "Anything human caught in range is completely destroyed." He replied. "I can tell now, that if you're about to drop one, I'd be the only one gone."

 

Cyprien chuckled. "Clever boy." He turned his back to his ex-subordinate. "You have ten seconds."

 

Akito turned and placed his hands on Kotori's shoulders. "Kotori, I need you to listen to me. I can't ask you to not be afraid, because things are gonna get scary. He moved one hand to his pocket and the other stroked the side of the demon's face. "I have three words for you, though." He pressed his lips against hers. He pressed the button on the capsule. The staff extended into and through its owner. He broke the kiss to give her his message, however, they slipped away with his life, and his mouth barely moved as the Spirit Bomb hit the building and everything was covered by a blinding light. When it receded, all that was left of Akito was a bloody staff.

"A-Akito...." Kotori was silent for a second.

She stared into nothing. An odd feeling overcame her and she stared at the bloody staff.

"Akito!!" she yelled, running and grabbing the staff.

"A....Spirit Bomb destroys humans..." her eyes traced up to Cyprien who was still here.

"Then what are you, Cyprien?" she asked.

Her eyes became dark and the temperature dropped to freezing.

"Why did you kill Akito?!!" she screamed, pinning Cyprien to the ground with a block of ice.

"You can't escape now, Cyprien." Kotori said coldly, restraining his hands with ice.

Cyprien could not contain his laughter. He laughed. He laughed a maniacal laugh. The ice restraining him burst into flames and he stood back up. "My previous offer still stands." He said calmly. "Come with me and have all your questions answered."

"No! I already answered you! I'm not going!" Kotori yelled, grabbing one of her daggers and throwing it straight at Cyprien.

Tears started running down her face as she looked at the bloody staff. Why did she feel so upset? Why did she feel so happy when Akito is affectionate towards her?

"I'm not going with you Cyprien...." she muttered. 

Cyprien had caught the knife and had tossed it aside. He turned around and looked at his feet. He listened to the girl's tears drip onto the concrete roof. Cyprien wasn't cold but he could see his breath.

"His last words." He said. "Were you able to hear them?"
