Not many can tell, but demons run amuck in this world. Only a select few can see them; and an even smaller number keep them contained. However, such is done under selfish purposes. The Organization of Demon Death Sentences (ODDS) seeks to destroy every demon they can to harvest the powerful, multi-purpose energy they release: deimya. The latest member to the Organization, Akito Naizaka, shows great promise... and innocence. It is yet to be seen how much ODDS will be able to manipulate him.

Weapon Modes:

     – Compact Mode (4 inch cylinder)

     – Extended Mode (6 foot staff with pointed tip)

     – Reaper Mode (scythe add-on to Extended Mode)

     – Ender Mode (Extended Mode's tip detaches, revealing a thin blade to be wielded along with the pointed tip; each piece  approximately 1 meter in length)

Kotori reached behind her and grabbed Akito's staff from her bag.

"I know what he said..." she muttered.

Kotori quietly placed the staff on the ground. Looking to the sky and then to the place Akito was killed.

"I love you too....Akito..." Kotori said loud enough for Cyprien to hear yet keeping a quiet tone.

"You're a little off there!" An invisible voice declared.

 

"What?!" Cyprien demanded.

 

"You heard me." Kotori's flashback had reached Akito's final words. "I'll be back!"

 

Reality itself burned away, and they were back in the ODDS Labratory. Akito stood there, clothed in black, a sheathed ninjato in hand, surrounded by flaming cherry blossoms. "And here I am."  He unsheathed the blade and pointed the empty scabbard at Cyprien, out burst forth a pink flaming bullet that exploded barely even a second into it's flight. He cut Kotori free. "You okay?"

 

(Happy now?)

Kotori was speechless for a second, before immediately hugging Akito, tears streaming down her face.

"Akito....Akito....Akito..." she muttered.

"Cyprien tried to kill me...he said I'm dying Akito...he's trying to kill me!" Kotori said, she was obviously terrified.  

(Not to sure whether or not I was planning this from the beginning)

 

Akito softly shushed the troubled Kotori. "There there, everything's all right." He returned the embrace. At his own will, the two of them were teleported out of ODDS Headquarters and reappeared in a flowery plain.

 

"Nice scenery, don't you think?" He asked.

 

He kissed her forehead. "Sorry for making you wait so long. I won't let anything hurt you from this day onward, okay? We've got the rest of eternity to be together now."

"But how did you survive...Akito?" Kotori asked, looking at Akito.

"Did you know all this magic all along...? I don't know what happened...." she asked.

"Did we defeat ODDS, what do we need to do next?" Kotori asked. 

Akito's face turned a bit red. "Well, when I kissed you, the theory was that I'd get caught with some deimya myself; and when I stabbed myself, which was rather painful, I'd undergo a process similar to what happened to you. The mysterious case of a human gone demon. Took awhile for me to regain consciousness, but hey, I'm alive... sorta... maybe. I'm mostly the same, new weapon, new clothes, new abilities. Immortality I'm assuming." He neglected to mention his crimson colored eyes, but that was just because he hadn't seen his face in a while. "As for what to do next. I'm not too sure. Any ideas?"

"We could destroy ODDS and stop the demons...." Kotori said seriously.

There was a small blush on her face from Akito's first comment.

"Your eyes are crimson...opposite of mine...." She said with a smile.

"Are they?" He asked. "Haven't noticed." 

 

He pondered Kotori's proposal. "Destroy ODDS... and I still get to stop rampaging demons. I like that." He checked his flowery surroundings. "Where would we start. I don't think we're much able to go for a head on attack. Not too mention everything Cyprien put you through. Should we pause for some R&R?"

"That would probably be best...we need some rest." (RANDOM RHYMING) Kotori said.

"Where should we go though?" She asked.

"Hm..." Akito thought. "Where to go for a little mini vacation. I know!" He wrapped an arm around her, held her close, and pointed forward. "Onward!" They teleported from the flowery plains into a humid misty forest. "I'm a little off..." He said. He looked around. "Hot spring." He said, pointing to their right. "This way." He began walking through the trees, eventually fading into the mist.

"H-hot spring?! Don't you think that's a bit too fancy....? A wild hot spring at that...." Kotori sighed.

"Are you sure we are not both dead...?" She asked with a small laugh.

"At the very least we were." Akito replied nonchalantly. "We're definitely alive in some way now. Or do you mean Cyprien actually did us in and we don't know it?" The hot spring soon came into sight. "But we're not here for that." He ran forward and jumped into the far side of the spring. "Aaaahhh..." He willed his clothes to burn away. A pitch black blindfold materialized over his face. "If you're coming in, this thing'll last for 90 seconds."

"Right behind you then!" Kotori exclaimed.

Since Akito's eyes were seemingly covered by the blindfold, Kotori rather quickly stripped and leapt in.

"GYAAA! This is burning hot!" She complained.

There was silence for a second.

"Thank you Akito." Kotori bowed her head.

The blindfold dissolved. "No problem." He said. "And it's not too hot. You're probably just cold. Cold blooded maybe."

 

"Which has me thinking." He continued. "Can you conjure any ice in here?"

"I bet I can if I tried..." Kotori said.

"Why do you ask?" She asked, looking straight at Akito.

Akito's gaze was following the rippling surface of the water.

 

"Just wondering." He replied.

 

"I wouldn't want you freezing my only source of heat for whatever reason you decide, I guess."

"It is really warm in here~ it's nice." Kotori said with a smile.

The demon moved beside Akito.

"I missed you a lot....I had these four guys try to rape me until I'm pretty sure I killed one. Then Cyprien tried killing me...." She sighed.

Akito scooched a couple of inches away. He didn't want to be TOO close to Kotori under these conditions. "Yes. Nice. Warm. Like I said earlier, sorry for making you wait so long. I guess the process just sorta... Took awhile." He smiled sheepishly.

Kotori sighed, looking at her friend.

"You aren't used to someone being this close to you.....I know this is an odd situation...but...people have to deal with these situations and adventures cause people to get out of their comfort zones." she said seriously.

"So! What are we gonna do after this? It's pretty late...do you have any place in mind for us to go? A lot of people can't see me so keep that in mind!" Kotori exclaimed.  

"Can't see us." Akito corrected.

"Anyway, you're right it is pretty late. I'm stumped, do you have any idea where we could crash comfortably."

"Oh ya...you have deimya too now..." Kotori said with a small laugh.

"Uuummmmm......I have absolutely no idea." she said. 

The demon looked at Akito and giggled.

"You want some more deimya later~?" Kotori teased. 

Akito slowly sank underwater, trying to avoid the situation. He was overly assisted by the fact that something grabbed his leg, and pulled him even deeper underwater. After a few seconds, he came bursting out, at least three feet above the surface of the water, and somehow fully clothed again, and landed at the water's edge. "What was that?!"

 

Moving on to the next available life form, the mysterious hot spring monster began to wrap one of it's squishy appendages around Kotori's ankle.

(THE ANSWER IS ALWAYS RAAPPEEE~!)

 

"What's wha–" suddenly the thing grabbed Kotori's ankle.

"Gyaa! Akito!! Help me!" She exclaimed, trying to pull away from it.

"Don't look at me though!!" Kotori's complained, still trying to get the thing to let go of her.

Akita slapped his forehead. "And how exactly am I supposed to do that?!" Nonetheless, he summoned his sword, and pulling it out of sheath, he sent an arc of flame into the water. "Things might be getting a bit hot!" He pointed the empty scabbard at the surface of the water and fired blast after blast of crimson-pink flame. The water evaporated by the kiloliter and eventually none was left and all visibility was shrouded by steam. "At the very least that disgusting thing is incapacitated. I suggest you cover yourself up before the steam clears."

Kotori jumped out just as the steam arose, rather quickly she changed into her underclothes and tank top before the steam cleared. Turning away from Akito, she pulled on her skirt and pulled over her shirt, and continuing to get dressed.

"Were you trying to burn me alive or something?" she asked, fully dressed and putting on her necklace.

"This was a terrible idea..." Kotori sighed.
