....DDD's inspiration, much?

....I remember playing this game a lot when I was younger, or something, it was a huge favorite of mine ^_^

I notice something....seeing a video of it just now.

The main guy (Luke, I recall, his name being~) has short, silvery hair. Much like Riku does in DDD.

And there's a main vilian who makes me think of ansem a bit (in the openning video, anyways).

......And a MAJOR concept of the game was making these cute 'firmiliers' (which they called "Muppimon") and they'd help Luke fight. And, apperently, some even LOOK a bit Dream Eater-ish......And you face off against evil ones, too, as you progress through the game (though they look no dif than the 'good' ones on your side. from what I recall).

Also, the main guy's sword remind's me of Riku's Soul Eater sword.....A lot. O_o;

.....

Seriously, this game. Is really Dream Drop Distence-ish O_o; I wonder if the game was inspired by it, somewhat.....and Riku cutting his hair more to look how Luke's does (oh btw i kinda had a crush on Luke, the main guy of this game, a bit jsyk)(just so you know).

The game is called.....Eternal Eyes. It's a Playstation 1 game.

o-o;

We own it, of course. Dang. When I get that new PS2, I AM SOO STARTING A NEW SAVEFILE ON THIS ONE.....I clearly forget how a lot of the story went, anyways.

Cept that I named all my monsters after favorite pokemon of mine. xD;

Also, the idea of 'feeding the monsters jewals', 'recipes for new monsters'....yeah.

Felt I should share this O-o;

This game was an old favorite of mine, like I said, anyways.

lol

xD;

....a SERIOUS old favorite, really. I remember making SPRITES of some of the characters once.......during the year where POKEMON WAS PRACTICLY ALL I LIKED.

o_o;;

....

Me gonna watch the openning theme again....

....

o-o;;;

Well the Dream Eater concept was very similar to Pokemon and SMT. Not surprised another game uses it. I personally haven't played Eternal Eyes but it sounds interesting.

Its a cute game, really. I loved all the little creatable 'muppimons' (Magical Puppet Monsters, it stands for. They were created from puppets you found in the battles and stuff =3).

The main boy awww.... I just wanna cuddle him for reminding me of riku so much......a bit.

>w<;;;;

How was I not more into him than Ash Ketchum at that age, I still will never quite understand. xD; I guess....

I also feel the fact that you can fight with monsters in 13-2 had a big influence on Dream Drop Distance since these games were both in development around the same time. Fighting with monsters is cool, but I do miss the classic Disney characters fighting with you.

What are you talking about? Lol, I'm talking about Final Fantasy 13-2.

And time travel.

I thought it's main inspiration came from Pokemon.
