Australia keeps its reputation of the world's happiest country for the third year running, beating Sweden and Canada into top place, according to the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development's Better Life Index.
Melbourne was voted the most livable city in the world for the second year straight, earlier this year. Many other major cities in Australia feature in the top ten as well. Melbourne is also the sporting capital of the world.
