Koukon/Haruka:

 

"C'mon brother, hurry up! We're going to get our teams assigned today!" Haruka shouted towards her older brother, jumping around with excitement. As she said, today was their big day. She hadn't been happier in her whole life. Her brother, however, was taking his time to walk over to the ninja academy.

 

"I'm coming, I'm coming..." Koukon assured his younger sister. The day before had been a long, tiring day, and he didn't quite have his sister's energy.

 

"So, do you think we'll end up on the same team? That would be so cool if the two Yougan siblings could work together!" She exclaimed.

 

"Yeah, sure, I guess it's possible..." Koukon muttered. He had no clue how his sister managed to graduate in the same year he did, given how lazy she'd been when it came to the academy. He felt kind of embarrassed that the two graduated in the same year also, since he was a year older. Was he behind, or was she ahead? Either way, it made him feel pathetic. The two continued on their way to the academy, and eventually made it to the classroom where they'd be given their assignments.

 

"Wow, it's packed in here..." Koukon was surprised to see so many people in the classroom at once. The students, their new teachers, even the Hoakge, Naruto, and his wife, Hinata, were there to congratulate the newly graduated students. Their teacher, Sakura, walked up to the front of the classroom and cleared her throat.

 

"Welcome everyone! Welcome to this year's graduation ceremony!" She greeted the group. No reply, the students were too busy talking to each other. Sakura was clearly annoyed by this. "Hey, everyone, shut up and look up here! Aren't you at all excited to graduate!?" She shouted. The Hokage looked a little scared. Koukon remembered that Naruto and Sakura were once on a team together, he wondered if he had to deal with her short temper at all back then. Sakura straightened up when the room went silent. "Once again, welcome to this year's graduation ceremony! Today, we'll be announcing the new teams, so please, listen for your name!" She announced to the crowd, her mood completely changing from the way it was before.

 

Kage:

 

The leader of the new Akatsuki looked down at the rest of his group, marveling at this collection of S rank criminals he'd amassed. It won't be too long before I've reached my ultimate goal... He smiled to himself. Not that anyone else could notice, his face was always hidden. He'd just finished a long meeting, and was pleased to be able to know he had followers. "You are all dismissed." He announced to the group. He then approached Rinne Tensei. "Rinne Tensei. I'm entrusting you with a very important mission..." He told Rinne. Rinne had always been one of his favorite members, due to his power. If there was anyone in the organization he'd entrust with such a mission, it was him.

"No. That's why-" Zalor's shock-filled sentence stopped.

 

'Shit. What does he want now?!' Zalor thought. Zalor shook her head.

 

"Well, Lord kazekage sensed something wrong. That's all I needed to know. I should get going." Zalor said and started walking to the gate.

"Hey, hey, hey, hold on there, missy," Kinatama called out, putting himself in front of Zalor. "You said you needed to see Lord Hokage. If you follow me, I'm sure we'll be able to contact him. After all, we should inform our ally, the Hidden Sand, about the Akatsuki's return," Kinatama said, quickly grabbing Zalor's hand and walking her towards the Hokage's Office.

 

"Come on. He's probably back from alerting our higher ups by now."

"Did you know that the Moku Tensei can reconstruct and deconstruct living matter and objects as well?" Saito asked. "No all I've been able to do is rearrange the atoms in one nonliving object," Ryu replied focusing on his chakra. He was slowly working his way up to Saito's chakra level. "I will show you," Saito said as he opened one hand. With his chakra, he formed a ball of fire. He then turned that fire to water, then earth, then wind, and finally lightning. "The Sage of Six Paths knew every element through this one jutsu. It's a vast jutsu that covers all of elemental Ninjutsu. It's the ability to change life or non-living substances to whatever you want," Saito explained. "But to use that, wouldn't that mean he had to use the Rinnegan?" Ryu questioned.  "That is true and before you master the Moku Tensei you need to be able to use the Yang chakra. The Mokuten clan's use of Mokutensei focuses mainly on the Yin chakra. You will learn to use the Yang. We will start with a simple jutsu. Since you have no chakra nature, you'd make a perfect fit for my master," Saito clapped his hands and the floor beneath them gave way. Saito levitated on air but Ryu fell into the void beneath. "This is the Void of Nothingness. You will keep falling until you're able to float," Saito yelled to Ryu who was below.

Kage

 

Kage and the rest of the Akatsuki assembled where Rinne Tensei was. "You called us here, Rinne Tensei? What's going on?" He asked. He had no idea what Rinne would call him here for. He got the idea it had something to do with the Leaf Village, and Zalor Senju, since she wasn't with them...

Zalor glared darkly at this man, but let him start leading her to the hokage's mansion. She was barely prepared now, that she knows Rinne Tensei needed her, she was going to be in deep trouble.

 

'I can't just kill him now.... Then the plans would be ruined.' Zalor thought to herself, blocking her thoughts from others. If she was going to kill Naruto Uzumaki, she would have to do it without bringing attention... And permission first of all.

 

"Hm." She secretly formed a handsign and a clone appeared outside of konoha, and made it's way to the meeting.

Eventually, both Kinatama and Zalor reached the Hokage's Office. However, given Kinatama's stubbornness, the firm and inescapable grip he had on Zalor's hand wasn't released until they got to the door that lead into the office.

 

"Alright, we're here," Kinatama gruffed, his willingness to be so nice to this woman getting thinner by the minute. He then firmly knocked on the door. "Lord Hokage?! Chunin Mottoyoi reporting! I have a kunonchi from the Sand Village who would like to speak to you!" If she really is from the Hidden Sand, he thought.

Zalor's patience with the man was getting thinner by the second, and she was about to take out her katana if it wasn't for him knocking on the door. Zalor turned her attention back to what she had to do. She wasn't going to wait any longer. She pulled her hand away from Kinatama and crossed her arms.

 

"Hm." She grunted, annoyed.

Focus, focus, focus! Ryu thought to himself as he squinted his eyes. He couldn't clap his hands to form something out of air. The air wasn't normal. All he could do was focus and hope for something to happen. He was falling -and fast at that. He had to think of something. He thought of all that Saito had told him about the Yin and the Yang. It sounds like the Yin and the Yang were opposites that which came together, Ryu thought as his eyes began to widen. Suddenly, he had an idea. "All this time, I've been assimilating and dissassimilating  other objects. What would happen if I use Mokutensei on myself?" Ryu said as he clapped his hands. He wasn't sure weather he'd die from this or completely dismantle himself. It was a 50% chance to fail according to him. "Mokutensei!" Ryu shouted. His body was instantly set on a type of blue fire. But it didn't burn him. In fact, he was perfectly fine. He suddenly stopped falling and quickly ascended. He came yet again face to face with Saito. "What happened to me? What am I?" Ryu asked as this blue fire looking power enveloped his body. It looked like a blue version of Naruto's Nine Tailed Mode. "You did it. Welcome to the Yang and the world of Ninjutsu," Saito said as he stood up. "That is the vast chakra that you had before. Control it. That's why we did that exercise earlier," Saito demanded.

 

Ryu quickly changed out of that chakra mode and looked up at the giant statue. "Once you mastered the Yang, then we can put it all together," Saito said as he took a battle stance. "I have to fight you?" Ryu asked. "We need to make your taijutsu like none other and this is the fastest way to master the Yang. Lets see how you fare without the Mokutensei," Saito said. Ryu looked shocked. No Mokutensei?! Ryu quickly clapped his hands and put them on the floor beneath him. Nothing happened. "You're in the Yang now. So you're going to have to use handsigns for the jutsu. Do well and I'll show you," Saito explained. Ryu nodded and quickly went into his chakra mode. His chakra control was like none other in the Clan so manipulating it was easy.

 

The battle had begun.

Naruto

Naruto looked over towards the door. "Kinatama Hottoyoi, and a Sand kunoichi, eh...? Well, come on in!" He invited the two in.

 

Kage

Kage glanced at Zalor's clone. "A clone? Why are you not able to come here in your true form?" He asked the rogue ninja, expecting a good reason.

The clone nodded at Kage politely.

 

"It seems I've run into some trouble. I'm currently with Uzumaki Naruto of the Nine Tails right now." The clone reported.

Zalor looked at Kinatama then opened the door and walked inside and looked at the Hokage, Naruto.

Kage

Kage sighed. "Again...? Well, it can't be helped. What were your plans, anyway? We need him alive, his  Nine Tails chakra could prove to be useful for us..." He announced.

 

Naruto

Naruto looked at the Sand kunoichi. She looks like that assassin from earlier... I'd better play it safe. He thought to himself, then smiled. "So, you're from the Sand Village? Why have you come to Konoha today?" He asked her.

The clone closed her eyes, remembering Pein and Itachi of the old Akatsuki. She opened her eyes.

 

"Hm. I know." She said and disappeared in a poof of smoke.

Zalor closed her eyes under her mask.

 

"Hm... Lord Kazekage sent me here. He sensed something wrong and wanted to know what is going on." Zalor said calmly, her eyes still closed.

Saito and Ryu dashed off at each other at incredible speeds. Ryu jumped up with a kick to the giant statue's face but was interrupted when he had to dodge Saito's giant hand about to swipe him. He safely landed on Saito's hand when suddenly, statue clones made out of Saito's chakra and created with the Moku Tensei, blocked Ryu's path to Saito's face. "Out of my way!" Ryu roared as he punched a clone. The clone didn't seem fazed as they all jumped him. Ryu punched one in front of him making it bounce back, then he blocked another one's attack from the the side of him and kicked it in the stomach. He then glanced behind him and shoulder threw one that was jumping on his back. He turned around to see a mass of clones attacking him. Ryu focused his chakra into one of his fists. He gathered so much, that his fist began to set on fire. Saito cracked a smile on his stone face as Ryu's fist set fire. "Fire Style: Explosive Chakra Burst!" Ryu roared as he punched the air and let loose a giant stream of chakra. It was almost like a widespread beam of power as the clones were literally scorched to a burning crisp. "I think I understand this now," Ryu said as he weaved random handseals. They came to him out of thin air. As if something within him was just about to awaken.

 

A mass of ten thousand statue clones surrounded him as he weaved sets of long handseals. They instantly dog piled him. However, even in this state, he kept his eyes closed and did the handseals. When the last handseal was finished, he released his chakra mode and nodded. "Awaken, Moku Tensei," Ryu slowly opened his eyes. There was something about him that was different now. He felt stronger as if he gained some boost. He used his chakra to easily blow the statue clones back away from him. One tried to pounce on him only to meet Ryu's punch in its face and breaking the statue clone into a million pieces. The others, in an attempt to avenge the dead clone, pounced on Ryu. However, before they could even get close to Ryu, they stood still in mid-air. "You've really pissed me off, Don't touch me," Ryu quietly said as the clones were blown back with such force.

 

Was Saito seeing correctly? Or was it just a dream? Either way, this was a great time for him. "Congratulations 'Ryu'. You have awakened your Rinnegan," Saito shouted in excitement. Was Ryu hearing correctly? But the color and design of his eyes said it all.

 

He bore the Rinnegan

Naruto

Naruto kept up his false act of friendliness. "Well, Kinatama and I believe that the Akatsuki is returning in full force soon... I was attacked by an assassin earlier today," Which is possibly this woman, he thought to himself, "and shortly afterwards, Kinatama was approached by a man wearing a cloak similar to that of an Akatsuki member. Do you know anything of this?" He asked the mysterious woman, trying to see if she'd crack and reveal her true identity.

Zalor shook her head slowly, taking everything in.

 

'So he decided to let out the truth quickly... Idiot.' Zalor thought to herself and looked at Naruto.

 

"No. I haven't seen or been told any of this." Zalor said calmly. She decided, as Kage said, to wait. And also on her own accord.

Naruto

"Hm... Very well then." Naruto muttered. "Well, I'd appreciate it if you'd tell the Kazekage about this incident." He told her.

Zalor nodded. There was a instant surge of power and a voice in her mind. One that she knew all too well. The same voice that made her join the new akatsuki.

 

'Yukira...' Zalor growled in her thoughts.

 

'Kill him... Kill him now before it's too late....' Yukira growled back. Zalor turned away.

 

"Thank you for that information." Zalor muttered, for she was having trouble controlling Yukira's dark chakra that was slowly showing it's self.

Ryu stood silent as he stared up at Saito. The RInnegan shone brightly in his eyes. "You, Ryu, are definitely a special boy!" Saito shouted. "Thanks for returning my memories Saito," Ryu replied. "Have I really? Then tell me how the Mokuten clan was born," Saito tested Ryu. "Very well," Ryu replied.

 

"My great(x3) grandfather was Sage of Six Paths himself. The Mokuten clan each carried a fragment of the Sage of Six path's power. However they all met with two things; The Sage of Six Path's eyes which are referred to as the Rinnegan and the Moku Tensei. Unlike other Rinnegan users such as Nagato, our clan knew every secret there was to know about the Sage of Six Path's powers and was able to use those powers depending what fragment they've gained. During the first and second Great Ninja Wars, the Mokuten clan were always attacked and time and time again, they defended themselves. However, them being always attacked forced them to disappear from the outside world. One day, an army of leaf and Uchiha ninjas stormed the Mokuten's Sanctuary. Without any knowledge of the Uchiha and whatever new jutsu that was created, they were completely outmatched and outnumber. I was there on that day and watched as all our clansmembers were slain by new jutsu and the Sharingan. Then, one appeared with a visual eye among the strongest of them all. His name was Madara. My great grandfather and Madara faced off in a battle to the death. I saw my great grandfather fall at the hands of Madara while giving him a wound that flowed intensely. I knew that jutsu. And I also knew that it could never be healed. The Uchiha's captured me and it was said that something about me was different from all the rest. So to prevent anything in the future, they used a Super Tsukuyomi that locked me from my visual powers and sealed my chakra and memories away in the Yang thus only keeping me in the Yin. But at the same time, it gave the the ability to never die. Like being in a Tsukuyomi of ceased aging. I was then placed in a containment camp which was said to be a Mokuten Sanctuary but was only a Tsukuyomi that I just learned," Ryu said as he looked behind him. "This is the only real Mokuten Sanctuary left," Ryu said as he looked at Saito.

 

"Yes that is correct. However, there are a few things I would like to share with you," Saito said. Ryu looked to Saito for knowledge. "When a Mokuten clansmember sees one of their own die, the fragment that they were born with goes to that clansmember. In your case, you saw your whole clan die. But the Uchiha sealed that power and you reawakened it again by using the Moku Tensei from both the Ying and the Yang chakras. Now you're just as strong as the Sage of Six Paths himself," Saito said. Ryu nodded.

 

"By the way, when are you going to stop using that fake name, Juubi?" Ryu asked the statue. "As do you, Kenma Moku," Juubi said as he summoned the Gedo statue to his side. Ryu, now using his real name, Kenma, summoned a scroll. "This jutsu will break the statues and seal the Juubi's chakra inside me from the Gedo statue, Saito, and the moon above," Kenma said a he weaved handseals. "No normal Rinnegan user can use that jutsu. Who is he Saito?" The Gedo Statue asked. "He's the new Sage of Six Paths," Saito replied before the two statues became broken and the Juubi was sucked into Kenma's stomach.

 

Kenma felt a power surge as he easily tamed the Juubi inside of him just like his many great grandfather did. "Juubi, you're weakened. What happened to you?" Kenma asked. "It's the Nine Tails and the Eight Tails. They're still out there. As long as they are, I'm a little weakened," Juubi explained. "But don't worry. I've trained you hard enough so that you're able to fight without me," Juubi said. "I see," Kenma said as he felt another two tailed beasts out there. "Who are they?" Kenma asked. "Must be that woman in the Akatsuki with two tailed beasts, Zalor," Juubi said. "I see. Best we get out here. I'm sure my team will wonder where I went," Kenma said as he dismissed his Rinnegan and teleported himself in a bush near the Leaf Village. He carefully and quietly rustled out the bushes only to find Koukon and Haruka.

"Hey what's up?" Kenma asked. They did not yet know who he really is. But he knew there was a threat in the village that could wipe out the Nine Tails. He stood in front of Koukon and pat his head. "You did great against Kinatama!" Kenma congratulated Koukon and his sister.

Zalor walked out of the room and walked away faster. She felt pain in her stomach, where her seal is.

 

'Gaki...' A new voice said, one that made a smirk appear on her face.

 

'Yes, Juugobi?' She thought. Gobi sighed.

 

'Stop calling me that, Zalor. It makes me feel old...' Gobi grumbled and Zalor smirked wider.

 

'You ARE old baka. You and Yukira created the Ten Tails during that battle you told me about.' Zalor thought to him and he growled.

 

'About that gaki, I sense his chakra. It's close, too close.' Gobi told Zalor, and she blinked.

 

'Seriously? Damn.' She thought.

Naruto

Naruto watched the kunoichi leave the room. He waited a while, then turned to Kinatama. "Are you certain that was a kunoichi of the Sand?" He asked him. "She reminds me too much of the assassin who attempted to kill me earlier..." He told the chunin.

 

Koukon/Haruka

Koukon looked over at Ryu. "Thanks, but... where were you just now? You disappeared into the forest, then returned all cheery!" He asked his teammate, confused by his behavior. 

(Firaga-sensei is a bit busy. He won't be on for a while. )

 

Zalor walked out of the mansion and headed in a familiar direction. The ninja cemetery. Once she was out of sight, she took her cloak off and switched it with a leaf ANBU cloak. One that she hasn't warn in years. She walked over to a a tombstone and looked at it. It was the great sannin, Tsunade's tombstone. Zalor got down on one knee and took out one yen and put it down on her grave.

 

"I know you aren't happy about what I'm doing, Granny... But this is a new generation..." Zalor muttered quietly, that it went with the whispers of the wind.

Don't worry about the other tailed beasts. Just worry about getting my power back. Then we'll deal with them, Juubi told Kenma. "I got it," Kenma softly whispered. "I was training a little," Kenma replied as he smiled.

Koukon/Haruka

"Training?" Koukon asked. "You could've told us that before you left..." He muttered.

 

"Well, at least he did something productive, right?" Haruka said. "That's a good thing!" She exclaimed. "So, what all did you do to train?" She asked Ryu.

"I wasn't doing much. Just kicking logs and stuff," Just then, he sensed Zalor near the three's location. "I'll be back," Kenma disappeared and reappeared behind Zalor. "I suggest you get out. Don't ever come back here. The Leaf Village is mine," Kenma spoke to her quietly.

Zalor formed a handsign and sent another clone to the akatsuki meeting.

 

"I'll be here shortly to talk about Naruto Uzumaki." The clone said and disappeared without waiting for anyone to say anything else.

 

Zalor glared at the boy.

 

"Who said?" She growled darkly. "Juubi."

 

She backed away. She wasn't going anywhere.
