Between kh 1-2 kairi turned from looking like an eleven year old to becoming the kh2 kairi who looks 16-17 this age leap doesn't comply with the passed time but i have the answer!!

 

Kairi was swallowed by leviathan when he attacked destiny island where selphie and kairi were playing after the events of kh1, he brought them to the summon realm from ff4 where they aged a hole bunch, but in order to not break the world order act they could not tell sora and the gang they had been to another universe.
