Sad news for those hopping to see Butterfree

That boy is a damn traitor, I want to see Ash's pokémon from the first regions.

Well the season is mostly, if not all, filler. No surprise there.

How is this Ash's fault.  He can't control whether or not he sees his butterfree.

They bring back that attention whore Charizard, but not Butterfree the first Pokemon Ash ever caught... tsk tsk. Though I'm not really surprised. Some of his Pokemon just get more attention than others, just wish the writers new the definition of the word balance.

But we've never seen Butterfree since Ash released it.  Charizard on the other hand has been coming back form time to time to help Ash out so it makes sense they would bring it back and not Butterfree.
