OK, so with Kingdom Hearys 3 recently announced I need to get a refresher. Ive play KH 1,2,Chain of Memories, and DDD but since KH has a really confusing storyline I pretty much forgot all of it. Ive been looking around the internet to find something that can sum it up for me, but I couldnt find one. I thought maybe you guys could help.

ok well first, I never the point of Orginization 13, what do they do, why are they bad, why does sora join them

two, whos roxas

The Organization orginally wanted to get their hearts back. But we find out in DDD it was one of Master Xehanort's plans to get Kingdom Hearts. Also the purpose of the Organization is to gather 13 vessels for Master Xehanort so he can put the 13 darknesses and 7 lights against each other to create the X-blade. He wants to do that so he can go to Kingdom Hearts. Sora didn't join the organiztion on his own terms. He was forced. But he was later saved by Riku, Mickey and Lea.  Roxas is Sora's nobody that was created when Sora became a heartless in KH1.

I recommend to read through the chronicles - or whatever they're are called - in KH DDD. I don't really know when you played the games the last time, but those are basic questions you can find out by replaying them very easily.

Master Xehanort basically wants to create his own world. He's also just curious.

You don't seem to have played Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and 358/ 2 days. If you have time you can watch them on youtube. Those might fill in some of the questions you have. Birth by Sleep is basically when Master Xehanort started his quest to open a door to Kingdom Hearts by recreating a weapon called the X-blade. 358/2 days is the story of Roxas. He was born in Twilight Town but without Sora's memories. Briefly afterwards he is taken in by Organization XIII.

These are the games so far. Chronologically they are ordered this way: Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts, Re: Chain of Memories, 358/2 days, KH 2, Re: Coded, Dream Drop Distance.

You can watch the Game Trailers Kingdom Hearts timeline for a summarized catch up (it's near an hour long, but it's still not got all the detail and information from the games).  http://www.gametrailers.com/full-episodes/g84vkz/timeline-kingdom-hearts

If you have more time watch a 100% Let's Play of the ones you don't own and play the ones you do in chronological order.

Honestly the best way I feel is to actually play the games themselves, and if you have a PS3 the Remixes are a good investment and addition to  KH collection.

The time to sit and write out all the information on each game (all of which are essential to the plot and set up of KH3) would take too much time to do it thoroughly.
