I've been thinking of cosplaying casual Roxas recently but unsure if I can do it since I'm 22 and 180cm tall. Roxas looks baby faced and is fairly short which I am neither.

 

I already have an Organisation XIII Coat but I lack the keyblade, hair and eyes

 

I just looked up the costs for purchasing the cosplay stuff

 

Roxas Casual cosplay outfit (I.e. non-coat-Roxas): $120 (for pants, coat, shoes...etc)

Blonde Spiky wig: $30

Blue eye contact cosplay lenses: $50

Keyblade A (2 across): $400

Keyblade B (Rain fall): $400

 

I've been thinking of going with Aqua's keyblade and Roxas's Keyblade rather than the Oathkeeper and Oblivion purely because I like the Rainfall and 2 across.

 

Does anyone have any experience with cosplay props because it would be awesome if I could get my paws on cheaper keyblades.

 

Making my own is out of the question since I don't know a thing about wood or metal crafting and I don't have those cutting and finishing tools too

 

This - is my dream  come true ~ complete with glow-in-the-dark paint ~

I made a keyblade out of foam, but it was nowhere near as good as that.

I wish I could help but I've never really cosplayed before....I made an Organization coat for Halloween once but that's it. That Keyblade looks amazing though O.O The only places I know you could get a Keyblade from are Amazon, Ebay, and this one cosplay website called ezcosplay.com

thank you - I saw the Keyblades, some were relatively cheap but the quality wasn't to my liking

Gah! I've been working on a Kingdom Key to cosplay Xion, but as usual I'll be all alone, since none of my friends cosplay KH... But obviously, the Kingdom Key is waaay simple.  Also, I don't know where you're planning on getting your contacts, but at pinkyparadise.com they usually have some good (prescription!) ones on sale for around 25$; that's where I got mine for Kairi. Oh, and, Riku. But only Orgy coat Riku (so I can still have like a mini skirt on under it, really don't like going too long without a dress or skirt on lol).

 

Actually, Darkness Riku kinda has a skirt, too....
