The war is finally reaching towards it climax. The Defenders and the Dynasty have developed new technology that will allow them to search for the Dragon Balls more efficiently then ever, both in similar manners, as well. On the Defenders side, Bulma Breifs has created a new, more advanced version of the Dragon Ball Radar, which can track a Dragon Ball from any point in the world at one time. Meanwhile, the evil scientists of the Dynasty have used the technology of the Scouter and built upon it, now able to track the density of the orbs within the entire scope of the globe.

And now that the tech is with each faction, it is now time to put together the Dragon Ball Hunter teams that will use this tech to find the Dragon Balls and end the war, either justice prevailing or failing in the process.

CAPSULE CORP BASE 9853

(Caba)

 

Both excitement and tension was in the air as all the young members of the Defenders were all gathered in the giant Meeting Hall, eagerly waited for their next course of action. They were all told by Namek Division Leader Piccolo to meet in this specific base because of how close it was to the Six Star Ball, the first Dragon Ball that they would hope to capture on their first mission as a Dragon Ball Hunter. Other than that, the young fighters have spent the time since then talking amongst one another to kill time, the noise of several different dialects and tones filling the air, as Saiyans, Humans, Namekians, and other races all spoke with one another.

 

One particular Saiyan wasn't talking to anybody, however. Caba was calmly leaning against the back wall of the hall, arms crossed and eyes closed. The young Saiyan wasn't much of a people person, mostly because he only interacted with those who he trained with, and those people were only that of the higher ups. Still, he could use someone to talk to. But even with that, his excitement to begin the meeting was too great. He smirked to himself. After all my training, I'm finally going on onto the field. Time to show why I'm the best Saiyan soldier in this entire alliance, he thought, his cobalt eyes opening, revealing the spark of determination that Caba always carried.

 

(Goku/Vegeta)

 

"Man, you even hear these guys through the walls," Goku commented to Vegeta, as the two Saiyans made their way from the Division Leader Sector of the base to the Meeting Hall. "They sure sound excited, huh, Vegeta?"

 

"Their enthusiasm is one thing. Whether or not they're actually cut out for the job is the only thing I'm concerned with," Vegeta gruffed, arms crossed and frowning as always.

 

"Aw, Vegeta. Even now, you're still the same hardass as you've always been. Heheheh," Goku said with a teasing smile.

 

"Enough, Kakarot! This is no time for games. May I remind you we are in a war!" Vegeta replied most aggressively.

 

Goku was going to counter, but he didn't. He understood why Vegeta was being so harsh. After all, he and the Prince Of Saiyans were the fighters that had the most pressure on them in this, deciding whether or not the young ones had enough skill to potentially go out and get killed by the Dynasty.."Yeah, yeah, I know," Goku, now in tune with Vegeta's seriousness, said. "These kids are gonna have to give it their all. They're our last hope. And we can't afford to make mistakes right now. Especially myself... I'm the leader, after all."

 

Vegeta simply grunted in agreement, and after that, no more words were needed to be said between the two pure bloods as they were about to enter the Meeting Hall...

"Thanks dad. I won't let you down, i promise!" Yukio bowed down to Goku, and then once more to Vegeta, and set off with Caba.

 

"Caba, i sensed your feelings. I could tell you really wanted to be leader, but that's ok, soon enough, i'm sure you'll prove yourself to be as strong and experienced as whoever our leader is. I wonder who he could be?"

 

Man, if Caba's the co-leader of our group, he must be as strong as Alexander at the very least. I'm still a little worried if i can keep up with the 2 of them, or if i'll slow them down. No, i'm a Super Saiyan 2 already, and im already this strong despite how young i am, like Gohan. Sooner or later, i will catch up with them, but i know i can definitely defeat anyone who threatens our mission.

"I'll do you proud, Master. And if you end up in a fight, give 'em one for me." Alex said, hopping down and following Caba and Yukio. "It's been years since I though of the Saiyan name I was given... But I barely even remember the first letter..." He thought as he followed the two. "My only question is... how strong is Caba compared to me? I mean, Goku is making him co-leader, so that means he's gotta be tough. But I'm plenty strong myself. I'll have to spar with him one of these days and find out how strong he is..."

(Caba)

 

As Caba and the other two left the Meeting Hall, he thought to himself: I just realized... now that I'm on a team, I have to shoulder these guys on my back. Will that effect my power? ... Heh... no... I already know I'm stronger than them. It's not even worth it to worry... though... I am curious to how strong they truly are, and whether or not they can help me get stronger... heh, either way, i bet it'll be a big help for their own sake.

 

(Goku/Vegeta)

Heh... no... I already know I'm stronger than them. It's not even worth it to worry... though... I am curious to how strong they truly are, and whether or not they can help me get stronger... heh, either way, i bet it'll be a big help for their own sake.

 

(Goku/Vegeta)

"Hey, Caba." He stopped the group. "You, you were born, raised, bread and trained for the very purpose we are seeing today. You were trained by the two top warriors of our universe, and built out of their DNA. But how strong are you, really? Now, before getting angry at me, I only ask as a way to better myself. I want to be the best, so that none can harm what I care for. But at the same time, there is always a better fighter born. Weather it be our natural genes, or something else, we're the ones who wish to be strong. I don't know if you're wondering what I'm wondering, but I want to know who is the strongest of the both of us. Weather you want to know or not, I do. I don't want to cause a stir, though. After the mission, we could spar, if you so wish." Alexander said. The thought of a new challenge almost made him giddy with excitement.

Yukio grinned at Alex's request. I should've guessed he would've asked Caba something like this. After all, he's a saiyan like me. Maybe i should ask Alex to spar later, test out how strong i've gotten since we last saw each other. But, i'll hold off on that. Now's not the time for that.

Caba stopped walking, and closed his eyes. He wanted to choose his words carefully. Then, without turning back to his teammates, he spoke:

 

"Alexander... you understand perfectly what I believe to be true. I have no aggressive towards you. How strong am I? Well... I was personally trained by Kakarot and all his allies. I have achieved Super Saiyan level, and pushed beyond that to Super Saiyan 2. I know all the attacks of our allies and have studied the fighting styles and attacks of some of the key members of the Dynasty, including Omega Shenron. My power exceeds that of a normal Super Saiyan, and that's just at base... so in summary... I'm very, very strong." Caba then smirked at Alexander's request. "Spar? Hmm... well, to be perfectly honest, I'm curious to how strong you are, so yes. Though I doubt you're anywhere on my level, Caba ended in his mind.

Caba stopped walking, and closed his eyes. He wanted to choose his words carefully. Then, without turning back to his teammates, he spoke:

"Stronger than a Super Saiyan in base form... It seems like I'm not the only one hard at work... This is gonna be so much fun! I wonder what he would think if I went Super Saiyan 3..." He thought, though keeping it cool physically, inside he was a giddy little child. "Well, I can't say I've done all that, but I can say until the untimely death of what I called my home planet, I protected it from millions of invasions. I studied under Goku, watched his style, and when I learned of the Witch and Fortune Teller Baba, I asked her to show me all of Goku's fights so that I could see how Goku grew up to be who he is. I sparred daily with everyone in Goku's family besides Chi-Chi. I never gave up, even when Yukio got the better of me for a little while, and I've been on the lead force since about day one of the war. I did this all to meet people like you, strong, confident, and, well... I guess overall good people to train with. I watched as my first love was slain, and I nearly died trying to just do what I was born to. I'm not bragging, I'm no where near superior is story, maybe I'm far weaker, but I'm fine with it.Though, I still think I could win!" he rubbed under his nose, why people did that when they were confident, he had no idea. "But we should set some terms. No transformations, some of the villains can sense energy, and if we give off too much... Bad for business, ya know? And we probably shouldn't use any energy techniques, their too dangerous to use in a city area, and like I said before, some of the villains can sense energy, a giant beam of energy would kinda attract them. So it's just hand to hand basically. Are you OK with these terms?"

If anyone tries to get in our way, especially the Dynasty, than we crush them like bugs. Plain and simple. This is war. We do what we must to win." Caba was a little mad at the moment. I was assigned co-leader by Master Kakarot and Master Vegeta, and this guy thinks he can make up rules? Please. "Anyways, let's just go to our leader and leave for the mission already." Caba added, the three reaching the Main Lobby after continuing their walk.

Our goal is to obtain the Six Star ball. So, shouldn't we head out now?"

"Hey, Alexander. Yukio," Gohan replied, returning the smallest Saiyan's handshake. "And you too, Caba."

"Excellent," Gohan put the watch in his own pocket. "Oh, a sparring match huh? Well, we'll see, Yukio, but focus on the mission for now, okay? Alright, let's head out." Gohan commanded, running out of the building and soaring up into the air towards the Six Star Ball, Caba on his heels.

"Master Gohan, how far is the Dragon Ball currently at?" Caba asked his leader and fellow Saiyan.

 

Gohan checked the Radar. "Not too far. We should be there in a few minutes."

They're comprised of the entire universes evil and powerful villains, Frieza is going to be a very weak compared to us, but he's strong enough to destroy the hole planet in an instant if he wanted to. Overall, they're stronger than us if they go by numbers and sheer power. But I would like to think we're stronger in our will to win. I think if we give it more than our all, we can win." Alexander nodded over to Yukio." Besides, we don't want ma and the others hurt, right? We gotta do it for them!"

"Master Gohan, I'm starting to sense some very high power levels," Caba commented.

 

"You're right, Caba. I sense them too. I wonder--"

 

*CRASH*

 

"What the--!" Caba said under his breath.

 

"Everyone hitail it!" Gohan commanded, leading everyone down.

 

Gohan and the others looked at the area where the explosion was heard. Ginger Town seemed to be under attack, and an eerie purple mist was rising out of an area of the town.

 

"Wait... that mist..." Gohan said.

 

"What is it Master Gohan?" Caba asked.

 

"Everyone come on! Whatever is going on needs to be stopped!" Gohan commanded, flying towards the city, the team following him. Please don't let it be what I think it is...

 

Oh, but it was. Gohan and the the others landed on a disturbing sight. Many citizens were on the verge of suffocating, as the purple mist that was released was the Destron Gas, the gas used by Dr. Lychee when he came to Earth. However, the mist didn't spread throughout the city. It was contained in one area.

 

"G...Gohan..."

 

Gohan heard the faint call of his name, his ears and eyes following the voice to a point a few feet from his location. He gasped.

 

"Videl!" He cried, making his way over to his apparently sick wife. "Videl, w-what's going on? Who did this?"

 

"It... it was... was..." Before Videl could answer, her eyes closed as she fell limp in Gohan's arms, making the young Saiyan grit his teeth in anger.

 

"Dammit. This has the Dynasty written all over it," Caba cursed. "And to think that they went for someone like Miss Videl... pathetic."

Yukio gasped. "Videl, no!" He gritted his teeth in anger aswell. "Those monsters!! They're going to pay." Yukio seethed for a couple seconds, and then refocused on the more important thing at hand. "We have to stop this. But first we need the Dragon Ball, before the Dynasty gets their hands on it. Master Gohan, how far is it from here?"

Gohan heard the faint call of his name, his ears and eyes following the voice to a point a few feet from his location. He gasped.

 

"Videl!" He cried, making his way over to his apparently sick wife. "Videl, w-what's going on? Who did this?"

 

"It... it was... was..." Before Videl could answer, her eyes closed as she fell limp in Gohan's arms, making the young Saiyan grit his teeth in anger.

 

"Dammit. This has the Dynasty written all over it," Caba cursed. "And to think that they went for someone like Miss Videl... pathetic."

"D-damn it!" Alex punched the ground rather hard, it made a little tremor. "V-Videl..." He almost yelled in rage. She was practically part of the family when he met her, and kinda looked to her like a older sister. "Dynasty... I won't let this keep happening!" His hair went golden, static went around his body as he had transformed into his Super form. "Gohan... Try and get her to a doctor. Maybe we can save her still. We'll go after who did this and the Dragon Ball." His eyes showed of absolute rage. "Hurry. If a doctor can't help, maybe a Sensu Bean will help, or maybe one of the Namekians can heal her..." He walked over to him, the Dragon Radar on the floor, Alex picked it up, and looked at the distance."We're close..."

(Dr. Lychee is the character from Plan To Eradicate The Super Saiyans. He's the guy who created the Destron Gas, remember??.)
