July 9, 201312 yr Using the Uncompressed option has no quality loss, but I personally just use the Xvid MPEG4 codec and set the slider to the highest quality to avoid huge file sizes. Also make sure through the audio settings that the game is in 44khz stereo.

July 9, 201312 yr Huge file sizes are of no concern to me. Then you should record uncompressed. That provides the best possible quality.
