Seriously???Really???I thought all the update questionary in the unity was for tweaks and patches....BUT NOT A FOURTH VERISON!!!

 

Good luck Street Fighter fans in buying the same game 4 TIMES instead of getting Street Fighter 5.

 

I've been waiting for SF5 for YEARS....but instead they announce a new version of Street Fighter 4?????

Disappointing? I'm sure they are doing something about SF5, but right now the "fans" want character balances and this what capcom is giving them.

I mean the loyal SF fans who bought SF4 since the first version of it.

 

You need to pay for new version otherwise your current version will be completely useless in online competitive battles

 

Therefore in order to continue,Competitive players of the SF franchise will need to buy the same game FOOUUR TIIIMES!!!!!

 

Whether paying for it online or buying the retail version.The fact there are FOUR versions for this game is complete and utter bullshit.

 

This isn't the 90's where they can make over 9000 expansion for the same game like what they did with SF2

Crapcom has been kicking their loyal fans in the balls lately with the things they've done by canceling one of their most famous franchises and turning Resident Evil into an action game than a survival-horror game. Plus the fact that they've been laying off and having developers leave the company due to these reasons. Capcom has really gone down hill with all the decision they have been making lately.

Look at Mortal Kombat,they only made a GOTY version that includes all DLC,but they DLC characters are sold with very reasonable price

 

and all updates and balances are FOR FREE.

 

Not everyone can buy 4 version of the same game.

 

And also for non competitive players who just play for fun,they won't be able to play online with their current version unless they update to the new one and pay the price for a freakin update,and characters that could've been simple DLCs.

 

We could've got Street Fighter 5 by now if they were actually doing something,but no.It's SF4 aaaall over again!!!!!!

Now, If this was just a simple balancing patch then they would have release it for free, but that is not the case. They are giving you 5 new characters, 6 new stages, and all the DLC costumes for $15. That is not a bad deal. you know if you don't like it then don't buy it. They do these updates for tournament players in mind. $4 for a single character. that is $20 for 5 characters when for 15 i get so much more. Most players who just want to play for fun don't even care for these updates. These are for the competitive scene. Also for your information. You can still play online even if you don't have the newest version. So next time check before you make a claim

People seem to forget that this a fighting game. They do these for the FGC because those are the ones who are going to be playing it the most. They don't care,as long as they get to play Street fighter. The balance patches are like new games for them as since they are adding new characters and characters are changing they have to come up with new ways to battle against different characters. I'm sure they are working on sfv, but that won't be out for awhile, so the best thing they can do is update what is already out  

I'm good with just BlazBlue.

Actually, I've been stop playing street fighter in couple of months and this is my first I heard a new version of Street Fighter although I'm waiting for the release of Tekken vs Street Fighter. But I think there is also interesting about SF 4.
