I've always seen Mario as doing the most damage,

 

Luigi has the most defence,

 

Baby Mario has most speed,

 

and Baby Luigi has the most hp...

 

 

I thought that's how it should be.

 

 

 

 

 

I've never played PiT but that's the way I looked at it when I played Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga

It's always like this:

 

Mario > +Attack, +Speed

Luigi > +Defense, +HP

I pictured them shooting babies out of cannons
