Hey guys, what's up Sorablade is here and I want to show you and wish for you to listen to what I have to share with you. I want to share my all time favourite music pieces from the Mario and Luigi series. Keep in mind, that my descriptions and the names on these pieces are going to have spoilers.
11-Battle theme from Superstar Saga! This theme is great. It's basic, sure, but you have to admit, it matches Luigi's dance! The fact that it sounds like you're on an adventure is just awesome!
A fitting theme for our beloved Popple! When you're fighting him, you know he's ready to put up a fight! Maybe...not at first...
9-Boss Battle from Partners in Time!
This song starts out really dangerous, but then it sounds happy. Later it begins to clash and while trying to sound menacing, it attempts to sound like a Baby's toy time theme...Really good.
8-Hey, They're Pretty tough, Should We be Careful? from Bowser's Inside Story!
Like Boss Battle from Partners in Time, it gets happy, but stays happy. Not too much to talk about...doesn't really fit fighting Fawful...wait! Then it gets intense! Then happy...
6-Boss Battle from Superstar Saga! To be honest, it sounds like it fits Popple as well, but it's probably the most intense one so far. By most intense by far, I mean the battle theme. It kinda fits all bosses well.
Coming to a close, this battle begins with you having one health. A lot of people complain it being too hard because neither the bros can take more than two hits, but they don't realize you still have all your items, even after being sucked into Bowletta's belly...Really fits the situation at hand.
4-Versus Elder Princess Shroob from Partners in Time! To be fair, this sounds less like a battle theme. Don't get me wrong, it's epic, but only at the begining really. It then gets sad, and then kinda loops. It actually sounds like the world will end, if you don't defend, and all the work you've done, will be put to waste, you can't give up! The mushroom kingdom will be lost, and all your friends will die alongside you...
Going up against the Dark Star and Dark Bowser works well with this excellent piece. It screams to never give up no matter how many times you fail, because you've come so far. And you know the best part? Plug head-phones in the DS and there's a FIRETRUCKING CHOIR IF YOU LISTEN CLOSELY!
O.M.G. I love this theme! Maybe even more so than 1! It starts happy, but 37 seconds in, it goes to bad-ass mode! At first, it's like Luigi, then Antasma, and THEN Luigi AND Antasma, to create this hell of a theme!
1-Dreamy Bowser's Rage (Unoffical) from Dream Team!
I feel like this is a remix of a previous theme...like Peach's Castle theme, mixed with In the Final...Plus, Bowser goes insane! He's very hard here. Even being the recommended level can't save you.
Honourable Mention-
Since I couldn't choose, this I had to leave out. Sorry!
0-Antasma Battle from Dream Team! Kingdom Hearts-esque, much? Yoko Shimomura has worked on both series. The fact that this plays at the TUTORIAL BATTLE is just awesome!
Fun fact: The above theme has what is known as the Yoko-style violin.
