So apparently in a 2010 interview Nomura said "you will be able to fly across the map in an airship" it also seems like you will also be able to ride and control a car and magitek armor like the ones in 6, and chocobos will most likely be available as well. 

 

i don't know about any of you but i really hope this is the return of the world map or at least something very close to it, 

so far from everything i've read, it seems like Nomura is doing everything right with this game (could i ever expect less? i think not)

 

anyways what is everyones thoughts on Final Fantasy 15 so far? and what do you think of a possible world map? i have high expectations for this game

quality over quantity 

I wouldnt doubt a world map to appear, and so far Im expecting FFXV to easily become one of my favourite games. LOOK OUT KH!!!

A world map would be great. I really missed world maps from ff games. But even the towns in XV look HUGE.
