"On a certain day....at a certain time....also at a certain place........"-Mega Man X9 Tagline.

 

The year is 22XX, Humans and Reploids alike have now achieved the eternal peace that they were fighting for all this time up to now against the Mavericks thanks to the Maverick Hunters, especially the 3 S Class Maverick Hunters: Mega Man X, Zero and Axl.

 

However, now that the never ending struggle against the Mavericks has ended, have the Maverick Hunters now disbanded and have all gone their separate ways, Axl has joined the local Human and Reploid police force in a place called "Flute City", Zero has mysteriously disappeared from off of the face of the earth itself and X has decided to go in retirement and instead travel as a nomad across the world, wishing to learn about the various cultures that the peace that he had been fighting for up to now had to offer.

 

However, on a certain day, at a certain time and also at a certain place, did the threat of the Mavericks return once more in the form of a young Reploid gone rogue called "Amgis" and that he believes that the peace that both X and all of the others had fought so hard to achieve will only allow Reploids to become disillusioned by the fact that this will allow the Humans to both tread and walk all over the Reploids without even knowing and duss, has Amgis now declared war against the government whilst forming a group of over 10 Mavericks including himself called "The Faction" with which together, does he intend to install a new regimen that will allow Reploids to be superior over Humans.

 

Seeing too much of Sigma in Amgis, does X have no choice whatsoever but to come out of retirement and take up the fight once more alongside both Axl and a new Class S Maverick Hunter named "Yu" in Flute City and all together, bring an end to The Faction's reign of terror.

I liked it, you made a great beginning! I just think you should specify the time the events happen or not mention that at all (if you're not gonna already do it), because I think saying "a certain day at a certain time" sounds a little weird... You were very detailed, and just didn't mention that

I never got why Megaman x9 was never made... Just another big mistake made by Capcom! X8 was a really great game, but I didn't think it's ending was satisfying for the series, being even ambiguous... Making the big end of the series in a new X9 game is a real dream of mine, because this series deserves it

Mission I: Concert Highway: Commence.

 

Starting off in a very similar to when he first started off in the first mission of the original Mega Man X, could we see X reporting on a communicator on his left ear back to the newly restored Maverick Hunter HQ to Alia by saying the words "Alia, give me a scope, can you see them?" said X, as Alia replies to him "Now just hold on X! we don't even know if what we're dealing with here is even Maverick or not!! it could be just a few Mechaniloids going berserk and--" said Alia, as X then interrupts her by saying to her the words "No, I sense them, they're definitely Maverick!!" said X, as Alia then says to him after picking up back on her end on her computer's sensor array's tracking system "X wait! im picking up something though I don't think it could be Maverick so just--" said Alia, as X then lastly says to her before taking off his communicator "Close enough." said X, as Alia tries to lastly say to him the words "X wait--" only for X to then take off his communicator at that point before then encountering a few Mavericks in the forms of a Bat Bone, a Mettaur and a Wild Patrol Dog with which he then says to them whilst summoning his X Buster "Bring it on you Maverick scum!!" said X, as he then charged through all of the Mavericks he encountered on the Highway before reaching the end of it and encountering a Boss Maverick that identifies itself through the following words, as "Greetings X! I've heard so much about you!! allow me to introduce myself!!! I am "BlitzkrieGorilla" and I have come to take your head!!!!" said the Boss Maverick, as X simply replied "All you Mavericks are the same! enough!!" said X, as he proceeded to battle the Boss Maverick before eventually defeating it, as it says with its dying words "F-forgive me lord Amgis! I failed youuuu woahaaaaaa!!!!!!!!" said the Boss Maverick, as it then proceeded to blow up in a violent explosion, as X mearly huffs and puffs afterwards before then letting out a huge roar in the following manner "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" shouted out X from the top of his lungs, as the yellow coloured new Maverick Hunter Yu then appeared and said to X "Commander X! stop!!" said Yu, as X started to turn around slightly to face Yu but could not catch a glimpse of his face, as X had then fainted both then and there after having used up all of his energy battling the Mavericks on the Highway and shouting out like he just did obviously with Yu going over to X now lying down on the ground on his torso with Yu desperately trying to say to the now unconscious X the words "Commander X! Commander X!!" said Yu, as looking down below at both him and X from a high on top of building, could we see who liked like a young man wearing a worn out cloak but who's face we could not see aside from his mouth simply smirking to himself a little evilly before then disappearing into thin air like he wasn't even there to begin with at all.

Intermission: The Healing X.

 

Waking up back at HQ on a med lab bed, could be seen X, grunting to himself a little before saying "W-what? where-where am I?" said X, as replying to him was Yu by saying the words "Take it slowly Commander X, your still recharging." said Yu, as X replies to Yu "Huh? who are you?" said X, as Yu replies "Forgive my intrusion Commander X, as well, as for earlier but my name is "Yu Model I."." said Yu, as a familiar voice then speaks up by saying "He's a Reploid made with the same fighting capabilities, as you, Zero and Axl are X." said the familiar voice, as X identifies it, as belonging to Signas, of whom X says to the following "Signas!" said X, before then getting slapped by Signas, as Yu mearly looks on indifferently before Signas says to X "X, what you did was both reckless and stupid, we both know your not the type to just get heated in the middle of a battle and nearly short circuit himself like that right?" said Signas, as X himself now remained indifferent, even after when Signas slapped X, knowing what Signas was saying was the truth and duss, had not said a reply in defiance, as Signas then sighs before saying to X again "Okay X, listen, since the mission wasn't a total failure in regards to the higher ups, they are letting you go this time without a warning but the next time you do, as something, as stupid, as that again, i'll have you in detainment, understood?" said Signas, as X then replied "....Yes....Signas...." said X, as another familiar voice had then appeared whilst saying to Signas "Come on Signas, don't you think your being too hard on the guy? I mean it WAS his first mission returning to the fight after all." said the familiar voice, as X identifies it, as belonging to an old very good best friend of his with the following words "Axl!" said X, as Axl had appeared leaning on the med lab door whilst grinning before then making his way slowly over to both X and the others whilst Yu still remains indifferent even to Axl's presence now before Signas says to Axl "Axl, how did your assignment go? any luck?" said Signas, as Axl replies "Nope, nothing, zip, zilch, nada, the only lead we traced was nothing but a abandoned Maverick base." said Axl before Signas replies "....I....see...." said Signas, as Axl then replies to X with the following words "Hey X! long time no see!! how's tricks?" said Axl to X, as Yu had then interrupted their conversation before X could even say a word by saying "Commander Axl! please!! refrain yourself from having unimportant conduct with Commander X until he is completely healed." said Yu, as Axl remained silent a moment before saying to X the following "Geez, talk about such a stiff, he's worse then Zero in that regard! oh, by the way X, have you seen or heard of Zero?" said Axl, as X non Heartedly replies "....No, I....haven't." said X, as Axl then replies "Oh, I see....well, don't worry about it X, im sure Zero will turn up eventually, he is a S Class Hunter like us two after all heh." said Axl, as he patted X on the back slightly whilst trying to cheer him up which seemed to have an effect a little before Signas lastly says to everyone "Alright then everyone, it's time we head back to Central Command, X, when you've recovered, meet us there okay?" said Signas before leaving, as X replies "........Yes! Commander Signas!!" said X before the scene blacks out upon his face after brimming with confidence his words.

 

Meanwhile, in a jet black coloured location, could we see a figure in the shadows saying to someone "Lord Amgis! with BlitzkreiGorilla gone thanks to the Maverick Hunter X, what shall we do!?!?" said the shadowy figure, as another shadowy figure in the darkness replies lastly by saying "Patience, my friend, soon....very soon........we shall have both complete and utter dominance over the Humans and then, finally, shall all Reploids over the world gain independence for themselves, not even of which X himself has a chance of standing against! MUAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!" shouted out the seemingly insane other shadowy figure before the scene once again blacks out.

Intermission: The 9 Threats.

 

Upon X having fully healed himself now, does he head to Central Command where he sees Signas, Alia, Axl and Yu waiting for X and upon seeing him, does Alia say to X "X! are you alright!? your not hurt are you!?!?" said Alia in a panic stricken voice, as she went over to X, of whom simply replies "Alia........yeah, im fine, hey, about before--" said X, trying to apologize to Alia about his rash behaviour from before, as Alia interrupts then by saying to him "X, I know, I understand, don't worry about it, just try not to do something like that again okay?" said Alia, as X relatively surprised by Alia's words then says to her "....Right, again, sorry." said X, as Signas then says to everyone "Earlier, we received intel from one of our trackers on the Mavericks' whereabouts that they call themselves The Faction and that they are seeking to gain independence for Reploids all over the world by any and all means necessary but we already know this much, however, what we NOW know, thanks to our tracker, that this group of over 9 now minus 1 Mavericks have spread themselves all over Flute City both in the inside and outside of it everywhere." said Signas, as Axl replies to the matter at hand "Oy vey, talk about Deja Vu, I mean why do we ALWAYS have to find Mavericks located everywhere in certain parts of certain locations huh? it's maddening." said Axl, as Yu simply replied "It's because the Mavericks better operate that way Commander Axl." said Yu, as Axl then sheepishly replied to Yu with the words "....Errr....I was being rhetorical Yu." said Axl, as X had then spoke up by saying "Any rate, we need to find all of these Mavericks and put a stop to their plans, especially their leader." said X, as Signas then says "Your right, Amgis, nobody knows who he is or where he came from, except for the fact that he is a new generation Reploid like both Axl and Yu here, we must find him and put a stop to all of his operations before its too late." said Signas, as just then, did an alarm went off with Alia reporting by saying "Commander Signas! we're getting an energy reading from a certain area that will be identified in just a minute!!" said Alia, as X replies to her with the words "Is it Amgis!?!?" said X, as Alia then said to him "........Negative but it IS one of The Faction's members, called "Frost Dragoon", attacking Flute City's central park, named "Gospel Garden."." said Alia, as Nana from Mega Man X Command Mission then spoke up by saying to everyone "We're also getting an energy reading from a bunch of caverns, named the "Gouki Mines", located on the outskirts of Flute City being attacked by another of The Faction, called "Blaze Dragoon."." said Nana, as Signas says "Frost Dragoon and Blaze Dragoon....hmm....must be brothers, that must mean they more or less have the same abilities, despite their names, or........at any rate, Axl, im dispatching you to deal with Blaze Dragoon at Gouki Mines while both you X and Yu will head to deal with Frost Dragoon at the park of Gospel Garden, understood?" said Signas, as X, Yu and Axl all replied lastly at the very same time by saying the words to Signas "Yes Sir!!!!!!!!" said the three in unison at the exact same time.

Mission II: Gospel Garden: Commence.

 

Transporting both X and Yu to their destination before then speaking to them with the words "X! Yu!! did I transport you both safely?" was Alia, of whom is replied to by X who says "Yeah, we're both here safe and sound Alia, but........" said X, as he then took a look around at the mostly destroyed park covered with ice more or less before Yu says to both X and Alia on Yu's own communicator "Look at all this, it's just........too horrible." said Yu with a saddened look on his face before X replies to Yu by saying the words "Unfortunately, you'll see more places like this, as we go along, Yu, we must stop the Mavericks at all costs!!!! no matter what!!!!!!!!" said X, as Yu sheepishly replied to X's words by saying "C-Commander X........" said Yu, as X then reported to Alia "So Alia, have you picked up any signs of the target yet?" said X, as Alia replies to him "Funny you should say that X, as I just received an energy trace from at the end of the park that belongs to one of The Faction, a Maverick!" said Alia, as X then says "Right, we'll head there right away." said X to Alia before he turns off his communicator, as she lastly says to him "X....be, be careful, okay?" said Alia, as X in return lastly says to Alia "....Yeah, don't worry, I will be." said X, as he then placed his communicator inside one of his pockets before Yu says to X "Well then, Commander X?" said Yu, as X replies "Right, let's head out! Yu!!" said X with Yu saying in return "Sir! yes Sir!!", as just then, did they begin their mission by fighting their way through all of the Mavericks that stood in their way through the park before taking a slight short break with X asking Yu a question in the form of "Yu, tell me, why did you sign up for Maverick Hunting? other then the official records that I know about you, other then that, nothing...." said X, as Yu remained silent for a moment before replying "To be honest, Commander X, it was because I was both inspired to by and was jealous of both you and Commander Zero, during the early days of Maverick Hunting, in your fight against the dreaded Sigma." said Yu, as X remained silent whilst more or less making a solemn face upon hearing Sigma's name before saying to X himself inside of his mind the words "Sigma........", as Yu had noticed this of X a little before resuming Yu's story by saying "....Like Commander Axl, im a new generation Reploid but unlike both the Commander himself and all of the others, was I built to become a Reploid, if I ever chose to become a Maverick Hunter, to have the very same fighting capacities, as him, Commander Zero and you, Commander X." said Yu, as X continued to remain silent before then spotting Mavericks headed both his and Yu's way, as he then said to him "Uh oh! look's like story time's over!! come on Yu!!!" said X, as Yu simply replied "Right!!!!" with the two of them then finally making their way at the end of the park, where they encounter the Boss Maverick, of whom identifies itself, as "I've been waiting for you X, I am Frost Dragoon and I am here to both avenge BlitzkreiGorilla's death and chill you to the bone with my "Ice Plasma" fuu fuu." said the Boss Maverick, as X simply replies "Bring it." with Yu following "Prepare yourself! Maverick!!", as the two of them then work together to take on the Boss Maverick until eventually defeating it, as it says its dying words before entering a giant explosion like the first Boss Maverick before it the words "GAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!! BROTHER!!!! ONCE I AM GONE!!!! AVENGE-MEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!" shouted out the Boss Maverick, as taking place a few minutes after its explosion was Signas reporting into X's communicator which he gets out from his pocket saying the words to him "X! did you do it!? did you stop the Maverick terrorising Gospel Garden!?!?" said Signas, as X replies "Yeah, we did it, everything's A-Okay Commander Signas!" said X, as Yu replies on his communicator "All of the area is secured Commander." said Yu to Signas, as he lastly replies to them both "Phew, excellent work you two but im afraid your going to have cut your celebration short, we just lost contact with Axl over at the Gouki Mines, we'll be sending you two in to help him out." said Signas, as X lastly says to Signas "Understood Commander, we'll teleport there right away, ready Yu?" said X, as Yu lastly says "Yes Commander X." before X nods his head and the two then transport themselves away from Gospel Garden.

 

Mission II: Gospel Garden: Complete.

Mission III: Gouki Mines: Commence.

 

Recharging their systems through their teleportation at the Gouki Mines, do both X and Yu then begin their mission of searching for Axl with X first saying the words "Alright Yu, we're here, first, let's find Axl, then we'll deal with both the Mavericks and their leader." said X, as Yu replied "Yes Commander X, understood!!" said Yu, as both he and X proceeded to make their way down into the Mines whilst fighting low level Mavericks along the way at each floor before Yu says to X "Commander X, I don't know if this may apply to you, as well but I am getting this strange feeling that all of these lower level Mavericks are somehow stronger then the rest we fought in the past, is it because of some type of mineral they are feeding off here in the Mines after taking it over maybe?" said Yu, as X then replied by saying "....Yeah, it could be possible, the mineral here is called Force Metal and well, let's just say that I've had some past experience with it, anyways, let's keep moving on, we gotta find Axl and fast!" said X, as Yu replied "Yes Commander X!!" said Yu, as both he and X had proceeded to continue onwards through the Mines by going down one floor after another yet again before the two then decide to more or less take a break for a minutes with X saying the words "Ha, ha, ha, ha....sigh, Yu, are you alright?" said X, concerned about his partner's health/safety, as Yu replied by saying "Yes, I am alright Commander X but more importantly, how are you holding up?" said Yu, as X replied "Ha, ha, I've....been better....to say the least." said X, as Yu then went silent all of a sudden before saying to X "........Commander X, I know it's not my place for me to say but do you really think we'll find Commander Axl, what if he has been--" said Yu, before X then interrupted "Don't be stupid! your a Maverick Hunter aren't you? have faith in your comrades, for if you don't, you'll be letting them down more then you can possibly realise........" said X upon then going silent, as Yu replied whilst feeling a little guilty about his question the words "!?!?!?!? Commander X........I, forgive me, I was only--" said Yu, as X replied by saying "Don't worry, it's all good and understandable Yu, I know that you haven't really gotten the chance to get to know both me and all of the others better but I hope that you will get that chance later on in the future after all this is done, no, you WILL get that chance." said X, as Yu then felt a little inspired by X's words before saying to him "C-Commander X........" said Yu, as X mearly smiled before then both he and Yu heard a shout which turned out to belong to Axl, as X then said to Yu "That's Axl! he must be one floor down below us!! let's go!!! Yu!!!!" said X, as Yu replied "....Right!!!!!!!!" said Yu, as the two Maverick Hunters had managed to meet up with a slightly damaged Axl leaning next to a wall whilst sitting down on the ground, saying to both of them then "G-Glad you two could join the party, oww! heh heh, guess....guess my trigger fingers got a little rusty." said Axl, as X kneeled down to help his friend whilst saying "Axl! did the Maverick do this to you!?" said X, as Axl replied "........Yeah, he's just beyond that door but be-be careful....X....he's a lot, gah!! stronger!!! then, he, looks!!!!" said Axl, feeling his wounds taking large effects on him before X went silent a little in turn before saying to Yu the words "Yu, I want you to take Axl back to base and prep him up for Med Lab, I'll deal with the Maverick here." said X, as Yu slightly worrying had then said "C-Commander X but I--!?!?" said Yu, as he then recalled X's words from before, as Yu then rephrases his own and says to X "....Alright, understood Commander X, just come back alive though, okay? if you don't, you'll be letting all of us back home down, ........heh." said Yu, telling his first joke, despite the situation with nervousness, as he then helped Axl up before placing his arm around Yu's shoulder whilst X mearly smirked at Yu's words before saying to him "Heh, right, mission received." said X, as Axl then gave X a thumbs up for which he does to Axl vice versa before both he and Yu then teleport themselves out back to HQ before in turn X takes a slight deep breath and heads into the next room, awaiting him is the Boss Maverick, of whom says to X "........So, you are X, are you not? the one who defeated and then destroyed my brother?" said the Boss Maverick, as X replied by saying "....Yeah, I am and let me tell you now that I feel no regret in taking him down, just like i'll take YOU down, Maverick scum!!!!" said X, as he pointed his Buster towards the Boss Maverick who replies "Hmph, trust me, I feel no hatred towards you in taking out my brother, in fact, he was so much of a weak scum, that I would have gladly taken him out myself later on, once The Faction's goals were met." said the Boss Maverick with X then saying to it "Answer me! what are you planning to do!?!?" said X, as the Boss Maverick lastly says to X the words "I have no reason to tell you....SINCE YOUR GOING TO DIE ANYWAY!!!!!!!!" said the Boss Maverick in a menacing tone, as both it and X engaged in a gruelling battle with him eventually coming out on top, as the victor but not before the Boss Maverick, in its dying words, says to X "....You may....have beaten, gah! me....but know this, X!! gahah!!! my lord Amgis....won't be so easy, to....finish....off....of that....you can be....CER-TAAIIINNNN!!!!!!!!" shouted out the Boss Maverick before exploding, leaving X to simply ponder to himself about it's final words, involving its leader before then receiving a communication back from HQ from Alia saying "X! are you alright!?!?" said Alia, as X replied "....Yeah, this is X here Alia, reporting in, how's both Yu and Axl? did they make it back home safe!?" said X, as Alia replied "Phew, thank goodness and yes, they did, no worries over here X, Axl should make it just fine, though, I think you should come and see him for yourself, heh." said Alia, making a slight nervous joke like Yu before her, as X then lastly says to finish off the mission before heading back "Thank god, alright, im returning now, X out." said X before teleporting back to HQ, as lurking in the shadows, could be seen a man with one red eye sniggering to himself before saying "Well done........X." said the figure lurking with the darkness, as he seemed to know X somehow both strangely and mysteriously.

 

Mission III: Gouki Mines: Complete.

Intermission: What it means to be Maverick.

 

Not long after returning to HQ, did X immediately go to check upon Axl by first saying the words to him upon rushing through the Med Lab door "Axl! are you alright!?" said X, as Axl replied "Yeah, no probs X, feeling just, as good, as new, never better heh." said Axl to X, as Axl seemed to be fully recharged from his wounds, despite the very short amount of time that has passed, that X comments upon by saying "Phew, that's good but how is this possible? I mean you shouldn't have recovered THAT fast, no offense." said X, as Axl replied with a smile on his face "None taken." with Signas then walking through and explaining to X by saying "It must be thanks to Axl being a new generation Reploid that he must of recovered this fast." said Signas with Yu also appearing just then whilst saying "Commander Signas is right Commander X, the same goes for me, though, I think I recover much faster then Commander Axl would, seeing, as how, I am much "younger" then he is." said Yu, as Axl quickly rushed over to Yu's side before putting him in a slight headlock whilst saying to him "Hey you! aren't we getting more bold and cheeky huh!!" said Axl, as Yu replied with a few slight comedy owws before both he and everyone else in the room had started laughing, showing that they are starting to loosen up a bit, despite the current situation, as then speaking to them on loud speakers was Alia saying to everyone "Commander Signas! everyone!! please hurry to Central Command!!! we've got trouble, big time!!!!!!!!" said Alia, as everyone proceeded to then look on in shock upon hearing her words, as they head towards Central Command, where there, does Alia report to them by saying "Good! you all here!! look!!!!!!!!" said Alia, as both X and the others proceeded to look at a giant projector in front of them which both shockingly and surprisingly on it shows both The Faction's remaining members and their leader Amgis making an announcement to all of the citizens of Flute City by saying "Greetings, all of you fellow Reploids and all of you lesser Humans, my name is Amgis, leader of The Faction and I just wish to say to both each and every single one of yous right now just this simple question, ahem: when a Reploid goes Maverick, does that mean he/she has truly gone Maverick? or rather, has he/she simply just awoken to his/her true self maybe?" said Amgis onscreen, as both X and all of the others look on in shock, surprise, gasp and horror all at the very same time upon hearing Amgis making his announcement before X lastly says to himself the words "That B******!!!!!!!!" said X, as he then clutched his left hand in a very tight grip whilst both he and everyone else continued to look on listening to Amgis' words on the projector with him still talking from before by saying "My fellow Reploids, we have just mearly been deluded by the Humans to think that going Maverick is a bad thing, no, going Maverick simply means to awaken to one's true inner self and then let it out by having it communicate with others by any means necessary, even if that means showing it off in more or less questionable manners but still, the Humans trick us and continue to do so even now, just so that they can keep us all in line and have us all right under their greedy little thumbs, well, I say bah! no more!! the time for both old and new generation Reploids must now rise up!!! we must show the world our answer by starting here in Flute City to show that we are not just simply Mavericks but rather, the next line of evolution by first disposing of the old line, the Humans!!!! my fellow Reploids, will you all just stand back and continue to be slaves to the Humans? or will you all rise up show that we are not just simply tools and that we are all to be reckoned with!? join me! my both brothers and sisters!! together, we shall take back the planet for our own and wipe out all traces of the evil existences known, as the Humans, once and for all!!!!!!!!" said Amgis before his transmission then signed out, as Signas then said to Alia, Nana and Layer from Mega Man X8 the words "Navigators! see if you can do all that you can to block that transmission from reaching the City's population!!" said Signas, as the Navigators all replied with the exact same words at the very same time "Already on it sir!!!!!!!!" said the Navigators, as X replied furiously "Damn that Amgis!!!!!!!!" said X with Axl then saying "He targeted everyone's weak point of either or not could Humans and Reploids really coexist with one another...." said Axl, as Yu then said the words "How despicable, that Maverick monster!!!!" said Yu with X saying to Signas just then "Commander Signas! let me, Axl and Yu go to take care of Amgis before he can be allowed to do any more damage like this!!!!!!!!" said X, as another warning bell then went off with Layer then saying to everyone "Warning! multiple Mavericks have now been spotted all over the across the City!!" said Layer, as X lastly said "Damn!!!!!!!!".

Mission IV: STARBRIGHT Amusement Park: Commence.

 

Teleporting themselves to STARBRIGHT Amusement Park thanks to Alia, Layer and Nana respectively, did X, Axl and Yu end up outside its front entrance before X reports to Alia back at HQ by saying "X here, Alia, we've arrived at the destination, are you sure will be able to find the Mavericks here?" said X, as Alia replied with the words "Im almost certainly positive X, Mavericks tend to gather in wide areas right? so what's the widest area for a Maverick to go to huh? an Amusement Park, the Maverick Boss your supposed to be looking for there is called Speed Cheetah." said Alia, as Layer then spoke up "Be careful you three, Speed Cheetah, as his name obviously states, is very fast in combat, he might be more powerful then the Mavericks you fought from The Faction already, as well." said Layer, as Axl then said the words "Don't worry Layer, if he gives us trouble, we'll be sure to give it right back at him!" said Axl, as X then had said "Let's move out everyone!!" with Yu saying "Right!" whilst Axl said "Roger!!" in a jollyful manner, as the three had then headed into the Amusement Park, fighting lesser Mavericks along the way whilst both switching in and switching out with each other respectively before X had stumbled upon a small cave under one of the Amusement Park's attractions, where here, did he find yet another holographic projection of Doctor Light, saying to X "X, it is me, Doctor Light, I am hoping that you have already helped Humanity achieve peace within the future but if not, then I guess there is no choice but to send you this new Armour, it is equipped with the latest Plasma Buster that I could make with very rare materials out of and with it, you can release a Charge Shot in the form of 3 miniature Charge Shots with the exact same level of power, please X, use this power to bring about everlasting peace for Humanity, I am begging you." said the holographic projection, as it then outfitted X with white coloured Armour that looks like the First Armour X had obtained in the original Mega Man X more or less, as by using it, did he manage to find a giant Mechaniloid with it and by using the giant Mechaniloid, did this allow X, Axl and Yu to reach the goal of finding Speed Cheetah both even further and even faster, as they eventually reached the Amusement Park's main attraction where there, did they find Speed Cheetah awaiting them, as he said to the three Maverick Hunters "Nyah Ha Ha!!!! welcome Maverick Hunters!!!! I didn't think you were going to show!!!! Nyah Ha Ha!!!!" said Speed Cheetah, as Yu replied to the enemy standing in front of him "You Maverick B******!!!!!!!! what do you intend to do with this Amusement Park!?!?!?!?" said Yu, as Speed Cheetah replied "Nyah Ha Ha!!!! THIIIIIS place? well let's just say, it will serve, as a monument, yes....a monument to show that Reploids everywhere will no longer have to bow down to Humans!!!! WE are in control of OUR destiny now, Nyah Ha Ha Ha!!!!!!!!" said Speed Cheetah, as X then said the words "I've heard enough! who do you people think you are!?!?!?!?" said X, as he, Axl and Yu had then proceeded to fight Speed Cheetah and in the end defeat him using a double attack, as he said with his final words before dying whilst shouting them out "NYAH-NYAH HA HA-GAH!!!! L-LORD AMGIS!!!! FOR-FORGIVEEEEEEEE MEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!" shouted out Speed Cheetah, as he then exploded like all of the other Boss Mavericks before him with X lastly reporting in by saying "This is X here, me, Axl and Yu have defeated Speed Cheetah, over." said X, as Signas lastly said in return to the three Hunters on X's comm "Excellent work you three, head back to base, we'll be needing you all charged up before you head out on the next mission." said Signas, as X, Axl and Yu had then nodded to each other before teleporting back to HQ.

 

Mission IV: STARBRIGHT Amusement Park: Complete.

Mission V: Aether Tech Building: Commence.

 

Once more respectively by Alia, Layer and Nana, did X, Axl and Yu get teleported to one of Flute City's important industrial companies, of which Signas reports to the three Maverick Hunters about by saying to them "X, Axl, Yu, the location you arrived at is called Aether Tech and it is here that the Mavericks will most surely target a location." said Signas, as X replied "Why is that Commander?" said X, as Signas then replied with a shocking truth by saying "Because it is here that both Humans and Reploids alike can be asked to be both upgraded and/or downgraded to one of the other." said Signas, as X, Axl and Yu mearly listened on in shock before X replied with even more shock "H-h-how is that even possible Commander Signas!?!?!?!?" said X, as Signas mearly replied "Due to the latest technology of today, we can only assume that the procedures are thoroughly carried out for those kinds of things to happen, Aether Tech doesn't sound how or why on their methods of doing that but what IS certain for us to know about for now is that Amgis and The Faction will definitely target the place, for whatever reasons, X, you and the others have to stop them before that happens, understood?" said Signas, as X then said "Understood Commander." before nodding to both Axl and Yu again and all together, do the three head into the building, fighting lesser Mavericks along the way whilst climbing up each floor, until eventually reaching the top floor, where they find their target, Black Ogre, harassing the lead scientist of Aether Tech by both holding him and saying to him "Tell me! where are the plans of how to turn a Human into a Reploid!? answer me!!! puny scum!!!!" said Black Ogre, as the lead scientist mearly said, trying to lie his way out "P-Please! I-don't-know!! im just, gahah!!! a....small time, ha, ha, scien-test!!!!" said the lead scientist before Black Ogre then got angry and had proceeded to kill the scientist by throwing him into a nearby wall before then noticing both X and the others and saying to them "Well, well, well, if it isn't X and his friends! incredible!! your just on time!!! I need a few people to kill in order to get my rage under control!!!!" said Black Ogre, as he placed his giant club upon his shoulder before X replied "Maverick beast!!!! you won't get away with this!!!!" said X, as Black Ogre mearly said in return "Oh but you see, I have X, I have, for now that your here, I can finally avenge both of my friends, BlitzkreiGorilla and Speed Cheetah!" said Black Ogre, as he then charged at X with Ogre's club straight in hand, knocking X back into the elevator door that both he and the others just came out of a few minutes ago, as both Axl and Yu said X's name in unison "X!!!!!!!!" before getting themselves knocked back across the entire room by Ogre's club, as well with him lastly saying to his opponents "Hmph, is that all you wimps have got? geez louise and here I was, looking for a match but look at all yous!! your nothing but fodder!!!!" said Ogre, as Yu replied in slight agony "D-Damn....he's-he's too strong...." said Yu whilst Axl said "He's not like, oww! the-the others." said Axl, as X lastly said whilst trying to stand up "M-Maverick scum!!!!!!!!" said X before then getting taken hold of by Ogre's hand, as he says to X "Hmph, weakling, make your last wish before I kill you." said Ogre before just then, jumping through the giant window in the entire room was a both very shockingly and very surprising familiar figure with a also familiar sword, saying to Ogre "Okay then, how about, your dead?" said the familiar figure, as both X and Axl look on also both very shockingly and very surprisingly at the figure whilst Yu didn't know what to make of the figure, as he was revealed to be none other then Zero! of whom Ogres looks on at whilst scoffing "Hmph, who the hell are you? leave this place, I have no business with--GAH!!!!!!!! MY-MY ARM!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" shouted out Ogre, as he then noticed his arm holding up X was completely chopped off without even a moment's notice before quickly realising that it was Zero who did it, of whom proceeded to smirk at Ogre whilst he just looked on in anger with X saying to Zero "Zero!!!!!!!!", as he replied "Yo, long time no see X, I see your still, as soft, as you ever were." before Ogre tried to land a hit on Zero with Ogre's club whilst shouting out "I'LL KILL YOU!!!!!!!!" shouted out Ogre in his heat of the moment, which would dearly cost him, as a second later, did Zero jump above Ogre before after appearing right behind him, did Zero off screen, slice Ogre's head off, of which, upon having his head bifurcated and just before both it and his main body had exploded, did Ogre say with his dying words "N-NO WAY, I WAS....BEATEN!?!?!?!?" said Black Ogre, as he then proceeded to blow up whilst not long afterwards, Zero had helped X up with him saying "Thanks, I owe you another one Ze--", as just then, did Zero punch X in his gut, shocking both Axl and especially Yu with Zero saying to X then "What the hell was that X!?!? huh!?!? we've been fighting Mavericks for, as long, as I can remember and yet you have never lost to a weak puny one like that before! ever!! what the hell was on your mind just then X!?!?!?!?" said Zero, disappointed with X's lack of action before, as he proceeded to say to Zero "Oww........boy, you sure don't hold your punches back huh Zero, though, I suppose that's to be certain coming from you heh, still, I really am glad to see again Zero, I truly am." said X, as Zero turn away before heading over towards Yu "....Yeah, whatever, just don't expect for me coming to bail your butt out each and every single time okay?" said Zero, as he then kneeled in front of Yu, of whom was still star struck with how Zero handled Black Ogre in a mere manner of seconds "W-wow, I-incredible, so that, that was Zero, THE Zero in front of my very eyes!!!!!!!!" said Yu to himself in his head before then hearing Zero call out to Yu "Hey, you okay? speak up, you didn't roid your circuits did you?" said Zero, as Yu replied "O-o-oh, Im-im sorry, I was just...." said Yu, as Zero replied "Hey its all good and understandable, question is, can you stand up though?" said Zero, as he then lent out a helping hand to Yu, of whom was amazed this was all happening to him before taking hold of it whilst saying "Y-Yes sir! Commander Zero sir!!" said Yu, as both he and Zero then got up off from the ground, as both X and Axl went over to them after X had helped Axl up with Zero then saying to X "X, make the call." said Zero with X replying "Right, Commander Signas! do you copy? this is X here!! over and out!!!" said X, as Signas replied on the other end "X! thank goodness!! are you and the others safe? did Zero make it on time?" said Signas with X saying to Signas "Yes, were all here, safe and sound, though....I wish I could say the same....for the casualties........" said X, feeling down about not being able to save anyone this last mission, as Signas lastly says to everyone "....I....see....well then, come on in back home, I think you'll need it, all of you do, i'll send body retrievers right away........" said Signas about the current states of X, Axl and Yu, as they proceeded along with Zero being last behind them to get teleported back to HQ whilst the lead scientist laying down on the ground started to move his body like a zombie would before displaying in front of the screen two red eyes, followed by a pure evil grin.

 

Mission V: Aether Tech Building: Complete.

Intermission: Pain and Endurance.

 

Upon returning to HQ and not long after having their wounds healed physically, were wounds placed upon them, during the last mission both mentally and emotionally effecting X, Axl and Yu respectively, as they could be seen in parts of the HQ with X in his barracks on his bed for example, thinking about what could have been done to prevent the tragedy that had occurred, during the last mission, where many lives were lost at the hands of The Faction at Aether Tech and that the three Maverick Hunters themselves would have been counted amongst the list of the dead had it not been for the untimely arrival of both legendary S Class Maverick Hunter and X's good best friend Zero having saved the three, as we then see him at Central Command speaking with Signas, of whom says to Zero the words "Zero, it's great to see you, I knew we could count on you." said Signas, as Zero replies "What? you thought you couldn't depend on me even though I became your tracker after returning back to the fight? please Signas, you know me better then that, anyways, what's the status quo? Layer?" said Zero, as Layer then blushed upon Zero calling her name before then saying to him "Hmm? o-oh, sorry, I-I meant, well, for, as far, as we know, there are only just four Mavericks left, including Amgis himself amongst them, however, we have been unable to detect his presence, due to constant interference from the other Mavericks, it is possible that the only way to get Amgis out into the open is to take down the other three Mavericks before going on after him." said Layer, as Nana says to Zero "Layer's right Zero, so right now, im afraid we're going to have to have you continue working, as a tracker still for now, sorry." said Nana, as Zero replies "Nah, it's okay, although I can't fight on the front lines, being able to get a piece of the head honcho first will be enough for me." said Zero, as just then, did X appear "How's everybody holding up?" said X with Alia replying to him "X!" in a worried tone, seemingly showing some affection for X, as Signas says to X "X........Same, as you, im sorry to say." said Signas, as X simply replied by saying "....Oh, I....see........" said X, looking all doom and gloom before then both shockingly and surprisingly getting punched in the stomach by Zero, as he says "Sigh, look at you X! all down and out because you failed on a mission, give me a break X!!" said Zero with his harsh words towards X, as Alia tries to stop Zero "Zero! how could--Commander!?" said Alia, as she was stopped by Signas, as Zero continued to speak by saying "Listen X, I know that you know this but im gonna say it anyways, when we fail on a mission, we think to ourselves, how could we have done it any better? how could we have avoid all those civilian casualties? well the truth of the matter is X, we can't, we can only fight for, as long, as we can, to protect those that we must, as Maverick Hunters, instead of just focusing on the past alone, should we use its knowledge to help us get better and stronger, so we won't have to think about in the first place, endure the pain! until the time can come........where we can eventually move on from it." said Zero, as he solemnly remembers Iris before X realises what Zero means and then says to him "Zero........I understand, thanks." said X, as both he and Zero nod heads towards one another and then butt arms with him whilst replying "Anytime man.", as appearing from the entrance was Axl, of whom says the words "Couldn't have said it any better myself heh." said Axl, as X says his name "Axl." before then following in suite after Axl was Yu saying "Commander Zero and Commander Axl are right Commander X, we have to continue fighting, otherwise, we won't achieve what it is we Maverick Hunters are desperately searching for and want." said Yu, as both he and Axl then walk up to both X and Zero with him saying towards Yu "So, you must be the new guy from earlier huh? name's Zero." said Zero, as he reaches his hand out towards Yu's with him taking Zero's hand with Yu's own whilst saying "It is an honour to meet you Commander Zero, I hope I can become a superb S Class Maverick Hunter like you, Commander X and Commander Axl one day." said Yu, as he is currently an A Class Maverick Hunter which Zero replies about "Im sure you will be, remember, keep your head focused and your mind sharp at all times, then you will achieve the mission objective in no time." said Zero, as Yu smirks before Signas then says to the four "Right then everyone, we have three targets left before confronting Amgis, Zero will continue being our tracker on Amgis for the time being while X, Axl and Yu, you three will go in and take care of the remaining Mavericks, understood?" said Signas, as the three Maverick Hunters replied "Yes sir!!!!!!!!" said the Maverick Hunters with Zero lastly saying to them "Good luck out there." and with X lastly replying "Yeah, you too Zero." said X with Zero smirking at X's words before then getting teleported by Alia to his tracing mission destination.

 

Appearing in the shadows once more was the shadowy figure saying to the other shadowy figure "My lord Amgis! please!! let us just pull back our plans for now!!! those Maverick Hunters are just too tough enough for us to beat!!!!" said the shadowy figure, as the other shadowy figure replied "By doing so, let all our hard work vanish just like that? Vortex Hawk? no, I don't think so, we will proceed on schedule, as planned." said the other shadowy figure with the shadowy figure replying "My lord but--" said the shadowy figure, as the other shadowy figure then said "ENOUGH!!!! I have spoken, Vortex Hawk, now, leave me, I wish to be alone........" said the other shadowy figure, as the shadowy figure lastly replied "........As you wish, my lord........" said the shadowy figure before his voiced died out, leaving only the other shadowy figure to then remain in the deep silent darkness, not uttering even a single word.

Mission VI: Rocket Plant: Commence.

 

Starting the mission off, as usual, are X, Axl and Yu transported by Alia, Layer and Nana respectively to the three Maverick Hunters' destination before then charging at it through all of the Mavericks in their way, as Axl says to X the words "So, Zero was our tracker all along, fancy that, eh X?" said Axl, as X replies "Yeah....hey Commander Signas, forgive my indiscretion but why didn't you tell us about Zero being our tracker, even if it was just meant to keep him hidden?" said X with Signas then saying to X "....As you all know obviously, we are dealing with Mavericks, enough for us to resort to trackers back in the past sometimes like obviously now, however, that's still no reason to keep Classes both A and S Hunters like yourselves in the dark now is there? except however, for some reason, Amgis, can calculate both each and every single one of our moves before we can make them, so even if it meant keeping everyone, especially you X, unaware, we decided to bring in Zero, given that he was off from the stage for a while, to track Amgis in secret, long enough for us to find out where both his and The Faction's hidden base is and destroy it, disabling all of their operations and by doing so, knocking out all their controls on the few giant Mechaniloids that have taken possession of and are currently using to terrorize Flute City." said Signas, as X then says "I see, dammit! these Mavericks!! they speak of a revolution but in the end, it's always the same, always for themselves!!!!" said X, as Yu replies to X by saying "Calm down Commander X, there's no using getting angry over it, at any rate, we're almost there now in stopping the Mavericks so let's deal with this one and then move on to the next batches." said Yu, as X calmed down by Yu's words replies to him "....Yeah, sorry about that you two and thanks Yu." said X, as Axl replies "Enough talking, let's get going! that Maverick isn't exactly going to wait on us!!" said Axl, as both he and his other fellow two Hunters proceeded to nod towards each other before then continuing with their mission, as they stop midway to take a break with X commenting on his surroundings "Hmm...." said X, as Axl replies "What's up X?" said Axl, as X says "Well....I've been thinking, its about The Faction's plan, I can't really seem to grasp it." said X, as Yu replies by saying "What do you mean Commander X?" said Yu with X saying to Yu "Well, its about the locations they have hitted, aside from Concert Highway, Gospel Garden and STARBRIGHT Amusement Park, haven't they been targeting locations that would be deemed weird? like both the Force Metal Gouki Mines and the Alter Human/Reploid Aether Tech Building Facility for examples and now here, Flute City's Rocket Plant, strange, I just don't understand why they would need to attack these three places, I've got a bad feeling about all this........" said X, as Axl tries to calm X down by saying "Ah, your reading too deep into it and worrying way too much X, besides, even if they WERE up to something, we'd stop them, right rookie?" said Axl, as Yu replies "Yeah of course!", as X says "....Yeah, i'd....guess........" said X, still having his doubts, as the three Hunters had then continued onwards before reaching the core of the Rocket Plant, where there, do they meet the Boss Maverick Tank Cannon Bear, as he says to his enemies in front of him the words "Duh, are you the enemy? the enemy that lord Amgis spoke about? duh, I don't know, duh." said Tank Cannon, as Axl replies "Huh? what's up with this cooke? never seen a Maverick like him before?" said Axl, as Tank Cannon says "Duh, Maverick? what's a Maverick? are YOU a Maverick? duh, I don't know, duh." said Tank Cannon, as Axl starts to get comically annoyed a little by saying "Ah, geez! seriously!! what's up with this flaky guy!?" said Axl, as Yu then noticed something about Tank Cannon before saying to him the words "Wait a sec....I think I know who--!?!? that's it!!!! Professor? Professor Kuma? its me! Yu!! Yu Model I!!! don't you remember!?!?" said Yu, as he approached Tank Cannon whilst X tries to warn Yu "Yu stay back! he's a Maverick!!" with Yu replying "Hold on Commander X, don't worry, I know him, his name is Professor Ursus Kuma, he's the one who made my double energy sword, Professor Kuma? Professor Kuma, it's me, Yu! please!! try to think back!!! remember!!!!" said Yu, as Tank Cannon went silent for a moment before replying "Duh, Yu? Yu........Yu........!?!? GAH!!!! Y-YU!? YU!! IT IS YOU MY LAD!" shouted out Professor Kuma, as Yu replied "Professor Kuma! are you alright!? what have they done to you!?!?" said Yu, as Kuma replied "........Don't worry, my lad, im fine, at any rate, you and your friends, you all must--GAHAH!!!!!!!!" shouted out Kuma, as it seemed his Maverick processing was getting the better of him now with Yu saying "Professor Kuma!", as Kuma replied "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, Yu....it is....too late....for me....lad....dest-destroy....me....before I--GARRR!!!!!!!!" shouted out Kuma with Yu once more saying "PROFESSOR KUMA!!" shouted out Yu, as Kuma lastly replied before reverting back to his Tank Cannon Bear persona "Yu....im....proud....that I....got to work....on your....double....energy sword....it makes me....pleased....to see....it........being........used........in........the........right........hands........" said Kuma, as he then fully became Tank Cannon once more with Yu shouting out yet again "P-PROESSOR KUMA!!!!!!!!", as Tank Cannon replied "....Duh, Professor Kuma? who's that, duh, I don't know, duh." said Tank Cannon, as Yu remained silent before then furiously letting out from the top of his lungs "....YOU....YOU........YOUUUUUUU B*******!!!!!!! GRAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" shouted out Yu, as X tries to calm Yu down "Yu wait!!!!" before just then, as Yu charged at Tank Cannon, did a huge wall separate Yu from both X and Axl, as Yu then proceeded to fight Tank Cannon on alone until eventually defeating him, as he lastly says in his dying words "........Duh, is this....death? duh, I don't........know........duh...." said Tank Cannon Bear, as he then exploded, thereby knocking down the wall separating Yu from both X and Axl, as X goes up to Yu whilst saying to him "Yu........" before he replies "Please, don't, Commander X, I, I just want to be alone for a few secs, that's all........" said Yu, as X lastly replied "........I understand, Axl, we're moving out, let's go." said X, as Axl lastly replied "........Okay." said Axl, as both he and X went on but not before Axl took one last glance at Yu before leaving, as we then see his face slightly dripping down from it what looks like tears.

Intermission: Loss and Revenge.

 

Upon returning with Yu back to HQ, did everyone decide to give him some space from the next mission whilst recuperating from the loss of Professor Kuma, as Signas says about this to X by saying "....How's Yu holding up X?" said Signas, as X replied with the words "........Battle damage wise, he's completely fine but, as for emotionally........" said X, worried about his friend before Signas then says "....I see, however, at any rate, we must continue fighting The Faction before any other innocents like the good Professor meet a horrible fate at their hands." said Signas, as Axl replies "Your right so where to next Commander?" said Axl, as Signas then replies "Navigators?" towards Alia, Layer and Nana, obviously asking them where to send the Maverick Hunters next with Alia replying "The next nearest Maverick attacking the City nearby is Needle Echidna, at a place called the "Dugwahdou Construction Site."." said Alia, as Signas says "You hear that Hunters?" said Signas, as both X and Axl reply "Roger." before entering the room "Copy Commander." was Yu, of whom X replies to "Yu!? ........are you alright?" said X, as Yu had then replied with the words "........No, no I am not alright Commander X, these Mavericks, Amgis and The Faction, they took away one of my dearest friends and a great mentor to me and I won't just sit back and watch them do it to others any longer!!!!!!!!" said Yu, as Signas then had said "Yu, if you are emotionally compromised from the last mission, I will have no choice but to have you detained, just wait in your barracks until you have calmed down." said Signas, as Yu replied "BUT--!!!!!!!!" shouted out Yu before then getting pummeled in the stomach by X both shocking and surprising everyone, especially Yu obviously, of whom says to X "A-ah, Commander X, why?" said Yu, as X replied "Yu, I know what your feeling and I know what your going through but simply Hunting Mavericks, just to get revenge on them, proves nothing except, that we are WORSE then Maverick." said X, as Yu listened on in both shock and surprise about what X had just said obviously to Yu, as his expression then goes into one of both solemn and disgust at himself, for wanting to take down the Mavericks, simply in the heat of the moment, as just then had he replied "........Commander X, Commander Axl, everyone, I........" said Yu before X places his left hand on Yu's right shoulder "Don't worry Yu, trust me, we'll be here to backup you through anything and everything, no matter what." said X, as he gave Yu a thumbs up, followed by Axl and then Signas whilst the Navigators simply smiled, as Yu had then wiped away the tears that were falling down from him in that moment and had replied with the words "........Right!" said Yu, as Signas says to Yu "Yu, have you regained your composure?" said Signas, as Yu replied "Yes, sorry Commander Signas, sorry everyone, I was being stupid and got myself caught up in a daze but now im fine and im ready to stop these Mavericks thugs once and for all!" said Yu, as Axl replied "That's the spirit!! so then ladies, care to drop us off at our next destination?" said Axl, as Nana replied "Heh, you got it Axl." said Nana, as the screen then blacked out lastly.

Mission VII: Dugwahdou Construction Site: Commence.

X, Axl and Yu arrive at the Construction Site, where X replies to Alia through his communicator by saying the words "Alia, we've arrived at the Construction Site, can you give us any advice, as to why the Mavericks are targeting this place?" said X, as Alia replied "According to our data, we believe The Faction is targeting Dugwahdou, due to the work its doing on a building related to Aether Tech." said Alia, with X then saying "Aether Tech!?" said X before he then starts to think about the previous locations: Gouki Mines, Aether Tech Building and Rocket Plant in turn before he then thinks to himself inside of his mind the words "........Now I've got a REALLY bad feeling about all this........" said X to himself in his head, as he, Axl and Yu then proceeded onwards through the Construction Site, making their way upwards fighting lower level Mavericks before deciding to take a short break, with Axl saying to X "....X, hold up a sec." said Axl, as X replied "What's wrong Axl?" said X, as Yu looked on in a slight both curious and confused manner at Axl before he says to X "We've known each other for a while now haven't we? so I know when something's bothering you, so come on, spill the beans X, what's been bugging you?" said Axl, as Yu then looked on at X with a slight both shocked and surprised expression "........Heh, I guess nothing gets by you, huh Axl?" said X, as Axl replied "Give me a break X, I WAS part of Red Alert after all, heh." said Axl whilst Yu remained silent upon hearing Axl's words, due to having read the official records about him before X then says the words "....Okay, well, it's about the places The Faction's been targeting." said X, with Axl saying in return "Yeah, you said about this before but what about them?" said Axl, as X then said "Aside from Concert Highway, Gospel Garden and STARBRIGHT Amusement Park, those places had very little to do with the following places, Gouki Mines, Aether Tech Building, Rocket Plant and now here, Dugwahdou Construction Site, which I believe are all connected with one another in some way." said X, as Yu replied "How so Commander X?" said Yu, as X said the words "First, there's the Gouki Mines, where Force Metal minerals are dug up, then, there's the Aether Tech Building, where Human/Reploid transfiguration into one another is somehow achieved, until finally, there's the Rocket Plant, where shuttles obviously containing Rocket fuel are built." said X, as Yu then said "Yeah but what do they all have in common though?" said Yu, as Axl then replied "If X's and now my hunch is correct, according to what Alia said earlier Yu, all these places, aside from Aether Tech Building obviously, are connected to that company." said Axl, as Yu then thought to himself quickly before saying "Wait a minute........!?!?!?!? that's it!!!!!!!! of course!!!!!!!!" said Yu, as X replied "What is it Yu?" said X before Yu proceeded to say "Commander X, Commander Axl, I think your hunch is right, for all those places, aside from what you said about Aether Tech Building Commander Axl, are property owned by Aether Tech." said Yu with his both shocking and surprising revelation, as X then grabbed both of Yu's shoulders before saying to him "Are you sure about this Yu!?!?" said X, as Yu replied without a doubt "Yes, I am, I read up about Aether Tech for a short period of Time after our mission there and discovered all of this places were property owned by the company but I didn't go so far, as to think, that the Mavericks would key point target these locations, just because of their connections to Aether Tech, otherwise, I would have told you both, Commander X, Commander Axl." said Yu, as Axl then said the words "That still leaves the lingering question in mind, what do the Mavericks intend to do with these places?" said Axl, as X replied "I don't know Axl but either way, like Commander Signas said, we've got to stop The Faction before anyone else, like Professor Kuma become their Maverick slaves!" said X, as Yu went silent for a moment upon solemnly thinking about Professor Kuma before then saying "Right, I won't let anyone else like the Professor become a Maverick because of The Faction, i'll stop them, even if it kills me!!!!!!!!" said Yu, as Axl then said to Yu "Now your wrong there Yu, we won't stop them, even if it kills us, we'll stop them and still stay alive whilst doing so! right X?" said Axl, as X then recounted what Zero said to X before about civilian casualties before then replying to Axl "Right, we've got to expect the worse along the way but even then, we have to stop it and stay alive, otherwise, like you said Yu, we will be disappointing the others back home heh." said X, as Yu listened on with slight both shock and surprise again upon hearing X's words, as they were more or less the ones Yu had uttered to X at the Gouki Mines whilst he then proceeds to think about both Alia and the others but more especially Alia, as it was apparent, during the time after the events of Mega Man X8 had both X and Alia started to develop feelings for one another but have yet to admit them to one another, as X, Axl and Yu proceeded to smile at one another upon hearing one another's words before in turn proceeding to move on with the mission, as at the top of the Construction Site, do the three Maverick Hunters meet with their target, Needle Echidna, of whom says to them "Greetings! Maverick Hunters!! I am Needle Echidna!!! part of The Faction and serves, as its strongest member." said Needle Echidna, with her very both arrogant and overconfident words with Axl saying to her "Strongest member? boy, you sure like to think of yourself highly, don't you lady?" said Axl, as Echidna replied "Watch your tongue! whelp!! soon, you will be begging to be at my mercy and serve under The Faction." said Echidna before X then replied "Like hell we'll serve under a bunch of Mavericks like you! that turn others into your pawns!!" said X, referring to Professor Kuma, as Yu replied to X "Commander X........" before Echidna then proceeded to say "It is necessary, for we are trying to release Reploids from their shackles, as the Humans' tools, why can't you Maverick Hunters, above all others, see that?" said Echidna, as Yu replied to her "........You say that but really, it's nothing but a hoax, all your trying to do is build your ranks with whatever Reploids you can find to fill them up." said Yu, as Echidna replied simply with a "Huh?" before Yu proceeded to shout out the words "REPLOIDS THAT SPEAK OF REPLOID INDEPENDENCE USING MAVERICK MEANS HAVE NO RIGHT TO SPEAK OF THAT!!!!!!!!" shouted out Yu from the top of his lungs, as X replied "Yu........" said X, as Echidna then said "ENOUGH!!!! I will finish you Hunters here and now! prepare yourselves!!" said Echidna before proceeding to battle both X and the others, only to lose them and then say with her dying words "N-No way, I-im....the strongest, member....how could....I....loossseeee!!!!!!!!" said Echidna, as she then exploded upon her defeat before X talked to Yu by saying to him "Yu, are you alright?" said X, as Yu replied "....No, like I said before Commander X, im not alright, however, I've learnt now that revenge won't bring back Professor Kuma, it never would have obviously, I knew that but still, I felt....I felt angry at both the Mavericks and myself." said Yu, as X said "Yourself?" said X, as Yu then replied "I felt angry at myself for not being able to help save the Professor like I could have, I just, I just wanted to--" said Yu before Axl says to Yu "Look Yu, even though we have power, we can't always use it, im not saying you don't know this but you shouldn't blame yourself like that, sometimes, negativity like that, could lead you down to becoming a Maverick and let me tell you, that's not a road you would want to pick...." said Axl, as X proceeded to say to Yu "Yu, even though we've lost our loved ones, we need to fight on to avenge them, that's part of our roles, as being Maverick Hunters." said X, as Yu lastly replied "........Yeah, your right, Commander X." said Yu, as X then placed his hand upon Yu's shoulder before once more giving him a thumbs up along with Axl, as Yu started to cry a little before wiping the tears away soon afterwards the next second.

Intermission: The Calm Before the Storm.

 

"Commander Signas, so far, after analysing everything that has happened duss far, it's now safe to assume that we have taken almost all of the leaders of The Faction out, except it's two remaining last members, the 2nd in command Vortex Hawk and....the leader, Amgis himself." said Alia reporting to Signas about everything that has happened so far, as he replies "....Right, if we can take just those two down and out, all of the lesser Mavericks under them will cease their activities and go into hiding, giving us the chance to find them and stopping them before they can carry out any backup plans they may have stored on their own in case The Faction was indeed defeated." said Signas, as X mearly remained silent before Yu says the words "What's the matter Commander X?" said Yu, as X nonchalantly replied by saying "Hmm? oh, Yu, sorry, I was just in a daze there, thinking about those places from before." said X, as Axl then said "Them again?" said Axl, as X replied "Yeah, it's just, it still smells all too fishy to me, about why Amgis would target them, I mean, he and The Faction are a group of Reploid idealists right? so why go through all the trouble to attack those certain places, even though they have nothing to do at all with their speaking of "Reploid independence?"." said X, as Yu replied "Maybe because of their certain connections, could the Faction be targeting them to spread a message of those places bringing about "Reploid insult?"." said Yu, as Axl then said "Nah, too easy, I mean, just about any faction, be they Maverick or not, even Human, would argue against the kinds of things those places have going on, so yeah." said Axl, as X replied "Hmm....whatever's going on, I don't like it, not one bit...." said X before both shockingly and surprisingly, did a warning bell go off, as Alia said the words "Everyone warning! we've just spotted Vortex Hawk!! the 2nd in command of The Faction!!! we're now currently tracing his location!!!!" said Alia, as X replied "Are you serious!?!? finally, just one more step before we can finally put an end to all this pointless fighting...." said X, as Yu mearly looked on at X upon having just seen his conviction and resolve before saying to him silently the words "Commander X........" said Yu, as another warning bell went off, with Alia then saying "Commander Signas! I've spotted Vortex Hawk!! he's currently at Flute City's popular sky diving resort nearby called "Icarus!!!"." said Alia, as Signas replied to the three Maverick Hunters behind him "You get that Hunters?" said Signas, as the three Maverick Hunters lastly replied simply "Sir!!!!!!!!".

 

Elsewhere, currently back in the dark could be seen the other shadowy figure talking to himself, uttering the words "........Hee hee........won't be long now........will it? X?" said the other shadowy figure lastly before the screen then went dark.

Mission VIII: Icarus Sky Diving Resort: Commence.

 

Arriving at their destination, did X say to his two fellow Maverick Hunters immediately upon after arrival "Alright team, this is it, once we find our target and put a stop to his operations, we'll be able to drive out The Faction's leader Amgis from hiding once and for all and then we can finally put an end to all of this madness." said X, as Axl replied "Well said X." with a slight grin before being followed by Yu saying "Right Commander X, let's move out before our target has any chance of escaping this facility." said Yu, with both X and Axl simply replying with the same word "Right." said the two, as both they and Yu proceeded to head out through the resort, obviously trying to find their target Vortex Hawk, as they charge through all of the lesser Mavericks standing in the three Hunters' way before they then proceed to take a break, with X saying to both Axl and Yu the words "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, Axl, Yu, you two, ha, ha, alright?" said X, trying to catch his breath before Axl replied "Ha ha, holding up over here X heh. ha." whilst Yu said "Ha, never been better Commander X." said Yu, as X replied "Good, let's hurry up, we don't want the target--!?!?!?!?" said X before looking up high in the sky, as he both shockingly and surprisingly spotted before him right in front of his very eyes both his and the others' target Vortex Hawk himself, as he replied to the Hunters down below him after both Axl and Yu now catch glimpses of Vortex Hawk for themselves the words "........Hmph, well, well, well, if it isn't the S Class Maverick Hunters, X and Axl themselves, along with some scrawny newbie that just so happens to be accompanying them." said Vortex Hawk, as Yu angrily replied "!?!? WHAT YOU SAY MAVERICK!?!? I'LL--!?!?" said Yu before getting interrupted by X, of whom placed his arm in front of Yu to prevent him attacking Vortex Hawk alone in the heat of the moment, with X proceeding to say to Vortex Hawk "....Your Vortex Hawk correct? we have orders to bring you in, come quietly now and no harm will be brought to you...." said X, as Vortex Hawk mearly replied "HA! that's a first!! the great Maverick Hunter X, after many years of fighting and killing Mavericks, even now after having killed all of my comrades, wishes to debate with me? a Reploid different to no other before him, be they Maverick or not, just to spare bloodshed? GIMME A BREAK." said Vortex Hawk in a dark tone before then saying "You call yourself a man of peace after having killed so many Reploids duss far and now just wishes to spare at least one on a simple whim? like I said, gimme a break." said Vortex Hawk, as X listens on both shockingly and surprisingly at Vortex Hawk's words before sensing a little doubt in X himself whilst Yu talks back to Vortex Hawk saying "How dare you! you don't know ANYTHING about Commander X!! he had to fight those Reploids simply because they became Mavericks!!! like scum like you!!!!" said Yu in his anger towards Hawk, of whom seemed to provoke a slight reaction at Yu's words whilst X once more both shocked and surprised upon having heard Yu's words simply says under X's breath "Yu........" said X, as Hawk then replied "....Hmph, whatever you say has no meaning, the result is and always will be the same, also being in the case....FOR ALL OF YOU'S DEMISE!!!!!!!!" shouted out Hawk, as he proceeded to transform his left hand into a green coloured Plasma Buster that he personally calls his "Gale Buster", with which he creates giant air pressures from in the forms of attacks that could knock down an entire single giant wall easily before catching the three Maverick Hunters off guard by escaping up ahead, as Axl replied "Come on X! snap out of it!! we gotta get that guy before he escapes, otherwise we won't be able to find Amgis!!!" said Axl, as X replied "R-right, sorry Axl, Yu, hurry! let's go!!" said X, as he, Axl and Yu then spotted up ahead three slightly big hover bikes that are coloured blue, black and yellow, of which the three get on each of them respectively before proceeding to chase down Hawk with them and then battle him up in the sky around the entire resort before landing their bikes upon seeing the damage they dealt to Hawk back in the sky and have a remaining land battle against him, with which they win, as Hawk proceeds to blow up but not before finishing saying "GAHAH!!!!!!!! D-DAMN!!!! AMGIS!!!! I-I KNEW....I KNEW I SHOULDN'T HAVE TRUSTED YYYYOOOOUUUU!!!!!!!!" shouted out Hawk, as X looks on at his and the others' victory with melancholy, remembering both Hawk's words and the truth behind them, of how X had killed many Reploids up to this point and duss believes himself in not having been worthy of giving Hawk a chance unlike the rest of them beforehand, only for Yu to then place his hand on X's shoulder whilst Axl gives X a thumbs up, obviously both of them reassuring X, as he then realises that, as long, as his friends are there to convince him otherwise, can X learn to believe in himself and in time, not only with just his friends supporting both him and his judgement but also himself, as well, as the three Hunters proceed to teleport back to HQ whilst the other shadowy figure from before looking not too far away on top of a sky view post finally reveals himself out in the open, also revealing to have been the very same man that spied on X, during his 1st mission back at Concert Highway before just like then, did the other shadowy figure proceed to disappear into thin air the next second like he wasn't even there to begin with.

Intermission: Final Hazard.

 

"At last, we've taken down all of The Faction's leaders, all that remains is........Amgis himself." said X, concerned about what to do next, as Axl replied "Boy X, you sure know how to bring about a good mood, don't worry, we'll beat him in no Time flat and finally bring an end to this stupid war." said Axl, with Yu then saying the words to X "Commander Axl's right Commander X, please just be patient and don't worry, with all of us here, there's no way that Maverick slime ball will get the better of us." said Yu to X, reassuring him, as he slightly smiles before Signas then says to Alia "Any word Alia?" said Signas, as Alia then replied "No such luck so far Commander Signas, me and the others aren't having any luck finding Amgis anywhere." said Alia, with Signas saying "I see, well, what about Zero? have you heard anything from him yet?" said Signas, as X overheard their conversation before replying "Yeah Alia, has Zero contacted in yet? is he alright?" said X before Alia then replied "Same, as with Amgis I am afraid, no such luck whatsoever, it's probably--!?!?!?!?" said Alia before another warning bell went off, as Layer then said the words "Commander Signas! incoming transmission!! it's........A-AMGIS!?!?!?!?" said Layer, as both she and everyone else became both shocked and surprised to hear that they were getting a transmission from none other then the leader of The Faction himself Amgis, as he then replied on the monitoring screen "........Why hello there, Maverick Hunters, heh heh........" said Amgis, as everyone, especially X, Axl and Yu looked on at Amgis with shock, surprise and especially a little of intense hatred within their eyes, especially X's, as he replied to Amgis "........So, YOUR Amgis, leader of The Faction........" said X upon having a conversation with Amgis for the very first Time, with him replying to X by saying "Hee hee, hello there, X, legendary S Class Maverick Hunter and the one who put an end to my predecessor's ambitions...." said Amgis, as X replied with slight confusion towards Amgis "Predecessor? who the hell are you talking about!?!?" said X, as Amgis then replied "Oh please X, surely, you and that new generation Reploid Axl there know, of whom I am talking about, want me to give you a hint? starts with a capital S." said Amgis, as both X and Axl along with everyone else except both Yu and Nana realise who Amgis is talking about, as he then says the following "That's right, you all guessed it correctly, my predecessor: Sigma." said Amgis, as X then shouts out simply "SIGMA!?!?!?!?" shouted out X, as Axl then says "S-Sigma!?!? no way!!!! that can't be!!!!" said Axl, as Yu says "You mean that extremely dangerous Maverick you, Commander X and Commander Zero fought against in the Maverick Wars!?!?" said Yu, with Axl then replying by saying "....Yeah....that's him alright, me, Zero and X fought against that creep multiple Times back in the past and defeated him at each and every single turning point but the question is of how this b****** is related to Sigma!!!!!!!!" said Axl before X then quickly shouts out again "TELL ME!!!!!!!! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!!!!!!!!" shouted out X again with Signas holding X back whilst saying to him the words "Calm down X!!!!!!!!" said Signas, as Amgis replied "Fuu fuu, knew that would spark a reaction from within you all but anyways, as for my connection to my predecessor, Time for story Time, heh heh." said Amgis without so much, as a single flinch before X shouted out once more "STOP PLAYING GAMES!!!!!!!!" shouted out X before Signas now struggling to keep hold of X says to him again "X, just calm yourself down!!!! this is what he wants!!!! to provoke you!!!!" said Signas before X after slightly giving in to Signas' words then listens on to what Amgis has to say "Excellent, now then, as for my story, it all began not too long ago, around the Time you two and your friend Zero put a stop to both my predecessor and that idiot Lumine's plan involving the Jakob Project, or at least BEFORE all that had happened with my predecessor tasking me with a future plan of his involving the futures of both all Humans and Reploids alike." said Amgis, as X then quickly thinks of the locations he was discussing earlier with the others before replying "That's it! now it all makes sense!!" said X, as Yu replied "What? what does Commander X!?" said Yu with Amgis then saying "Hee hee, that's right X! brilliant deduction skills, as always, fuu fuu." said Amgis whilst Yu listen on bewildered before saying "Can someone please tell me what the heck is going on!?!? what the hell is this Maverick talking about!?!?!?!?" said Yu, as Axl said "X figured it out, all of those certain places we talked about earlier, all of them had a certain stench to him that we now know smelt like they were all connected to some grand scheme that only Sigma would come up with." said Axl, as Yu listened on with both shock and surprise before Nana then replied to Amgis "But why? why go through all that trouble?" said Nana, as Amgis then said "Didn't you watch my speech earlier? for Reploid independence, heh heh." said Amgis before Yu replied "....I told one of your cronies that Reploids that speak of Reploid independence using Maverick means have no right to speak of that, what you said earlier was designed to target the unsure Hearts of all Reploids within Flute City both just to satisfy your own twisted humour and further your goals." said Yu with slight rage towards Amgis whilst clutching a fist which he takes notice of before saying "Nice grip you got there kid but really, it truly was for the sake of all Reploids not just in Flute City but practically everywhere, I can't stand by to see them suffer at the hands of the Humans any longer, my predecessor, no, Sigma would agree to that, as well, why can't you Maverick Hunters do the same?" said Amgis, as Axl replied "Sigma was insane and your just about, as every bit, as mad, as he was, which is why we're gonna stop you and this twisted Maverick ambition of yours." said Axl before Amgis replied "Don't you see? becoming Maverick means awakening to one's true self, over Time, we can learn to both control and harness the berserker like traits that come with it and learn to truly be free of the Humans' influence." said Amgis before X lastly says to Amgis the words "....Yu is right, Reploids that speak of Reploid independence using Maverick means have no right to speak of that, you and your buddies The Faction are no different, by becoming Maverick, you let yourselves become dominated by whatever traces Sigma left behind to manipulate you all until eventually, you'll all become Sigma himself........" said X before Amgis replied "No, your wrong X, all of you are and I will prove just how wrong you all are by inviting you to my base, there I will personally eliminate you three and finally prove once and for all what it means to become Maverick." said Amgis before signing out his transmission, as X then sighed before Signas replied "Well, what are you gonna do? X?" said Signas, with X replying "We're going to stop him, that's what, right Axl? Yu?" said X, wanting confirmation from both his fellow Maverick Hunters, as they reply respectively with "Do you even have to ask? heh." and "Of course, Commander X." said the two, as X looked on happily before looking over to Alia, of whom smiles towards X and vice versa before the two then blushed at one another upon everyone noticing, as Alia proceeds to look forward back at her monitor, blushing even more then X whilst everyone starts to laugh in delight, followed by both X and Alia themselves with X lastly saying to Alia "Alia, have you spotted Amgis' base?" said X before Alia replied "Yes, Layer, Nana and me have pinpointed the exact location, it's--in the high top snow mountains just beyond Flute City called "The Ice Graveyard."." said Alia before X then lastly said "Then that's where were heading, ready you two?" said X whilst both Axl and Yu mearly nod their heads afterwards in agreement with slight smiles upon their faces, followed by X doing the same before the screen lastly blacks out.

Final Mission: The Ice Graveyard: Commence.

 

Part I: Start.

 

Upon arriving at their destination outside the facility of Amgis' base, does Axl say in slight comedy "Brwwwa!!!! it's freezing out here!!!! couldn't The Faction pick a better spot to set up their base!?!?" said Axl, as Alia replied on comm link "Unfortunately it is the only known location outside of Flute City where they could set up shop Axl." said Alia with a slight serious tone, as X replied "Alia, I don't understand, if the enemy base was so close to home, why couldn't we have picked up their trace soon earlier?" said X with Alia then saying in return "It was because they had both cloaked their base in invisibility and were jamming our signals until now, probably thanks to Amgis' statement earlier...." said Alia, as X recalled with slight sympathy Amgis' words, of how he would prove once and for all who was truly right in the end, be it both the Maverick Hunters or Amgis himself, as Yu replied "At any rate, we gotta settle this here and now, otherwise, more Reploids like the professor will be involved in Amgis' doings, we can't let that happen." said Yu with sheer conviction in his words, as X listened on before smiling slightly in happiness upon hearing what Yu truly feels at the moment before saying to both him and Axl the following words "Alright team, this is it, all or nothing, first, we gotta find Zero and then put an end to The Faction once and for all, by finding its leader Amgis here obviously, you two ready?" said X, as both Yu and Axl simply replied "Right." said the two, as both they and X had then opened the giant doors into the enemy's HQ, only to be swarmed by a seemingly infinite amount of lesser Mavericks numbers, trying to kill the Hunters obviously, only for them to fight back and proceed onwards, until eventually reaching a giant hall filled with 8 capsules everywhere, as Axl replied to X upon viewing what was in front of the three Hunters "X, you thinking what im thinking?" said Axl, as X replied "Yeah, no doubt about it." said X before Yu then said the words "What? what is it?" said Yu, as X replied "Before proceeding onwards, it seems we got to destroy all of the core components within these 8 capsules if we are ever to go on ahead and fight Amgis." said X, as Yu replied "Seems easy enough, right?" said Yu before Axl slightly reprimands Yu whilst saying "Wrong, behind those 8 capsules are bound to be replicas of some kind of the enemies we fought up to now." said Axl, as Yu replied with slight shock "WHAT!?" said Yu, as X then said "Shush, we don't want to alert the enemy anymore then we already have." said X, as Yu replied "Oh, sorry Commander X, Commander Axl." said Yu before Axl then says the words "Well, what's the plan X?" said Axl before X then starts to think a little to himself before replying with the words "Okay, Axl, Yu, we're going to split up from here on in, we'll meet up once all of the capsules cores have been destroyed, alright?" said X, as Axl slightly grins before saying "Sounds like a plan to me X." followed by Yu saying afterwards "Okay, be careful Commander X, Commander Axl." said Yu, with X lastly saying to Yu "Yeah, you too Yu." before the three Hunters proceeded to spilt up and head into one capsule each.

Part II: Start.

 

At X's end, did he get transported to a data replica of Concert Highway, where here, does he meet both shockingly and surprisingly, BlitzkreiGorilla, of whom says to X "Well hello there X, a pleasure meeting with you again, fuu fuu." said the Boss Maverick, as X replied with the words "....You, I knew it would come to this, why do cretins like both Sigma and Amgis have to bring back the dead to do their dirty work?" said X, as BlitzkreiGorilla then replied "Oh no X, im doing this because I WANT to, not because lord Amgis told me to, fuu fuu and now, unlike last time, THIS time I will crush you into a bloody pulp!!" said BlitzkreiGorilla, as X lastly replied to BlitzkreiGorilla "You can try!!! Maverick scum!!!!" said X, as he then engages BlitzkreiGorilla in battle once more before eventually defeating him, as just like before, does he proceed to explode, leaving only behind a dark blue coloured orb which X proceeds to take possession of.

 

At Axl's end, does he end up at the data replica version of the Gouki Mines, where here, does he meet Blaze Dragoon once more and who says to Axl the words "Well well, I see your back for more, huh? Maverick hypocrite?" said Blaze Dragoon with Axl then replying with the following words "Me? a Maverick hypocrite? that's funny, the way I remember things, YOU guys are the ones who are the hypocrites, heh." said Axl, getting ready to fire with his Axl Bullets, as Blaze Dragoon proceeded to say "Hmph, whatever, you'll die either way, which reminds me....HA!" said Blaze Dragoon, as he tried to get in a sneak attack on Axl, only to fail, as the two proceeded to battle only with Blaze Dragoon in the end getting defeated, as he proceeded to blow up whilst leaving behind a red coloured orb that Axl takes hold of, as his own.

 

At Yu's end, did he end up at the Rocket Plant, where here, did he meet up with Tank Cannon Bear, of whom remains silent around Yu whilst he proceeded to say the words "Professor Kuma! ........no, your not him, your not the professor, not anymore........your just a Maverick and, as a Maverick Hunter, its my duty to purge Mavericks like you, no matter what!!" said Yu to Tank Cannon Bear, as he still remained silent before engaging Yu in battle, only to be destroyed by him whilst leaving behind a yellow coloured orb that he takes, as his very own.

 

Upon claiming all three orbs, did the Maverick Hunters end up back at the capsule room before Axl said to his two fellow Hunters "X! Yu!! your alright!!!" said Axl, as Yu replied "What commander Axl? did you think we wouldn't be? heh." said Yu, telling another one of his rare jokes before X, as he remained silent a little upon returning alongside both Axl and Yu had then spoke up to the two by saying to them the words "Guys, did we get back here because of this thing?" said X, getting straight down to business whilst showing his teammates his orb, as Axl then said in reply "Hey yeah! your right!!" said Axl before showing both X and Yu Axl's orb with Yu following in suite without saying anything, as X then replied "These must be the capsule cores that I thought we needed to destroy in order to move on after Amgis but apparently, just having these things in the first place without even thinking about it until just a few moments later doesn't seem to be the case, know what I mean Axl?" said X, as Axl replied "Yeah, your right X, I mean, if I felt it, that must obviously mean you two did, as well." said Axl with Yu then saying "What do you mean? commander Axl? commander X?" said Yu, as X proceeds to explain "We could have easily destroyed these things because of past discussions before entering the capsule cores and just after defeating the replicas of our past foes Yu, the question is: why didn't we? above all other things?" said X, as Yu listened on before making a slight both shocked and surprise reaction upon his face, as he then said "Hey yeah that's right! it felt like I was being drawn towards this thing!!" said Yu, with X lastly saying about his explanation upon the three Hunters' respective orbs "Exactly, which means these three orbs must act, as hypnotic keys, that previously prevented us from destroying them upon seeing them, cause in other words, Amgis MADE them do that obviously to inform us in some childish kid's game way that we need these orbs to continue on if we are to confront him." said X, as Axl then said "Meaning again in other words, they are the keys we need to unlock the "Final Boss'" doorway if we have ever any hope of "Completing the Game."." said Axl before proceeding to say "Again meaning that we now have 3 orbs and we just need the other 5 in order to do so." said Axl, as Yu replied with slight anger upon hearing all this "....Grrr....damn that Amgis....treating-treating all this like a game....did he treat the innocent Reploids who were turned into Mavericks by him like it was a game!?!?!?!?" said Yu clutching his fist for obvious reasons that X can see why for before saying lastly the words "....Alright you two, we just need those other five orbs before we resume onwards, let's continue splitting up like beforehand and finally end this "Little Game" of Amgis', okay?" said X, as both Axl and Yu simply nodded before X in turn nodded and the three proceeded to head out in separate directions once more.
