The crystal. No one knows where it came from, but there has been accounts of this special crystal throughout history. No one knew the large crystal would appear again near a high school homecoming. Or that it would give someone special abilities once coming in contact with it. And who knew this event would attract the attention of blood thirsty vampires, who's current goal is to find these crystal blessed individuals, and give them the choice of joining their league of vampires to take over the world, or perish? No one figured this would happen, but it is, and the battle has begun.

 

I know this is a vague rp, but I want to give participants creative freedom with the plot, pm me if you have questions.

Races:

 

Vampires: Feed off human blood and are able to be under the sun, although their super human abilities are hindered during the hours of the day. they must be invited into private buildings. They have super human strength, speed, and have the ability to influence a weak minded human. They seek control over those blessed by the crystal so that they may dominate the world without the weakness of the time limit of their abilities. Most vampire lore applies except the sunlight rule, among religious related like Crosses or holy water, and garlic. Also, vampires can't feed or turn someone into a vampire until it is nighttime (their teeth revert to normal teeth in the day)

 

Crystal blessed humans: Humans that have touched the mysterious crystal. They have developed a special ability, with one catch: They can only use their abilities during the day. Leaving them vulnerable to the vampires hunting them at nighttime. In this specific scenario, most of the people that came in contact with it before the crystal disappeared were teenagers that heard the commotion outside of the nearby homecoming or teachers that followed the students.

Age: 16
Appearance: Wears a black coat over a black shirt with tattered blue jeans
Ability: Alex prefers to use his fists in combat. When the sun is out, it forms some sort of gloves over his hands and greatly increases his attack power.
Bio: Alex's father had walked out on him when he was a child, leaving his mother barely able to pay the rent and buy what they needed to live. He was bullied in school for his uncleanliness and lack of money to buy more clothes. Alex had to defend himself against them, as they would beat him up daily and leave him bleeding on the grass. He became proficient with his fists and was finally able to strike back. His mother passed some time later due to a terminal illness. Thereafter, his insurance payed the rent of an apartment where he had to live on his own for some years. With the money the insurance company provided, he was finally able to buy new clothes and pay for food for himself.

Also, question: are we allowed to have more than one character?

Appearance: Likes to wear flannel overshirts above a t-shirt, and slim-fitting jeans.
Ability: He is able to manifest a bow and arrow in his hands from the sun's rays. The longer he holds back the arrow, the power and accuracy increases. However holding it for too long will cause it to explode in his face.  When he is in shade, or indoors where sunlight is not getting in, his power is decreased since he doesn't have many rays to manifest. But as long as it is day time, he can use it as much as he likes. Keep in mind that the bow and arrows he creates are not solid, and are composed solely of the suns rays, yet the arrows he manifests are just as effective as real arrows with sharpened tips. At night, he uses his cleverness and uses the enemy's attacks against them, or use the environment around him.
Bio: Justin has always kept to himself since he could remember. He never opened up to anyone, even to his family members. Any problems he had, he dealt with without letting others know. He was incredibly intelligent, but never liked to apply himself. He had the logic that the teachers would just overlook them, and throw them away, so there was never any really point of doing it in the first place. He failed each of his classes with flying colors, but they still let him pass since the scores on the computerized tests, ones he actually took, had scored higher than anyone else in the school.

Bio: Ulrich was dragged into the vampire business by one whom he thought was his friend, but it was just someone who was out to recruit new vampires. He rose above the ranks, gaining power to gain revenge against the one that brought him into it, but he had vanished one day without a trace. He was stuck as a vampire. He sometimes gets together with women for short stays. If they have children, he feels it is honorable to stay and help them through pregnancy and leave shortly after the child is born. He still strives to gain more power to take down the Lords above him, but for now, he has nothing to do but follow their orders.

Heather enjoys her life as a vampire, and doesn't wish to fight the others, but if she notices a betrayer, she either tries to murder them, or report them.
