Wii U basic in exchange for wind waker bundle?

Posted

I put this in random cuz i knew the mods would get rid of it otherwise. I have a wii u basic, that literally arrived the day before the wind waker bundle was announced. I would have had the money to get the wind waker bundle if i didn't buy the used wii u basic in not very good condition. The gamepad is in pure awful condition, and i wanted a new one to begin with. Also the basic has shit memory. Should I sell my wii u basic and save up a bit to get the ww bundle? How much money do you think i could get from it?

(scratches and stuff dont show up well in photos of the gamepad so yeah)

Just sell it man, besides I'm pretty sure if you're lucky , you'll save up enough money to buy the WW edition

You won't get much money for it at all, compared to what you paid for it new (I'm assuming you bought it new). I would just buy Wind Waker seperately when it comes out. Regarding the storage, 32GB isn't much of an improvement over 8GB. Just buy an external HDD.

If I was in the situation (I've had good experience buying used consoles in the past though) and I wasn't happy, I would have looked at returning it to the seller.  Typically if you bought of ebay or amazon there is usually the option to do so at minimum a week after receipt but typically a month is standard (however if the seller was desperate to get rid of it they most likely won't answer your emails even if you still have time).  I would sell it and get the WW Bundle, but I think considering how unhappy you are with the condition you should be quite honest in your description of the product otherwise you'll just end up putting someone else in the situation you find yourself in.  I would't expect anywhere near what you paid for it if it's as bad as you say.
