Have you ever had something that you couldn't make go away? Kinda like a burden....but not really. Like maybe a medical disorder or something. What if was an ability? An "Eye Ability". This is story of a group of kids with these abilities before they leave for summer vacation.

 

The "Eye Abilities":

 

Concealment: (Kurumi Himura)

"Hiding One's Eyes" ability. Can divert perception towards objects and even people within 2 meters of herself/himself and/or her/his surroundings, rendering them invisible. Conversation while being hidden also won't be heard by outsiders. Physical contact, however, breaks the effect, so it isn't useful in very crowded places; as well, if a person outside the 2 meter bubble is familiar with someone being concealed, the power will not be as strong. The ability works more by preventing people from recognizing those being hidden, rather than making them unable to be seen. She has practiced to control her ability perfectly and to not disappear suddenly. If unpracticed, the user could disappear suddenly.

 

Illusion: (Dagon Valefar)

To "Deceive One's Eyes". It can change what people around him see and show them something different, but he/she can only use it on himself/herself, means he/she cannot change appearances of others, etc.

 

Analysis and Animal Communication: (Code "Zed")

"Eye-Stealing" ability, which allows him/her to read information from the target. The user can also speak to animals using his/her eye ability.

 

Paralysis: (Luke)

The "Eye Contact" ability. It allows her/him to temporarily stop the movement of whoever meets the users gaze. It is not as she/her is not able to turn people into stone, but to more "freeze" them for a little while.

 

Captivation: (Yuki Saimin)

Known as "Eye Attention", can draw peoples' attention, regardless of their preferences in tastes or interests.

 

Focusing: (Claude Turner)

"Eye Focusing". It has the power to perceive objects and details that are far away from an aerial view.

 

Awakening: (Gideon Thrath)

Awakening Eyes", gives him/her the ability to remake their body into one that he/she finds to be his "ideal"(NOTHING COMPLETELY OFF THE WALL OR YOU WILL BE THROWN). However, this put a large strain on the users mind, and causes him/her to lose part of their memory. Not complete amnesia.

Those whom posses the abilities are called the "Mekakushi Dan". Even though some who have joined do not posses power.

 

 

 

Rules:

1) The major rule is this; please enjoy yourself.

2) Stick around as much as you can--the more that everyone posts the more the story can advance, so have a good time and don't be afraid to have your character make some strange or interesting decisions, it will only make the RP more interesting. Interact with other people.

3) Don't over do your abilities.

4) Go with the flow. People will make their own choices and the story will encounter a few twists and turns. It's more interesting when characters have to deal with thus twists naturally.

5) General RP Rules apply.

Kurumi has always hate her ability. That second her mother died, nobody seemed to see her until Kurumi actually touched someone. Her ability is why she became a NEET. She uses it not to be seen in her house...even though Concealment is weaker around those who know the person using it. She has only let one person see her, his name is Kuroto...or Kuro. Kuro has lately been traumatized by a woman who calls herself Kana.

 

Kana is like Kurumi....but not. Kana can see Kurumi when Kurumi used her ability. Kana is out to kill her for just having the ability. Kurumi ask herself why sometimes, but can never answer why.

 

School is ending this week, and summer is right around the corner. With this being the last week of School, Kurumi is out and about. Kuro has no choice but to go to school along with others. Little does he know, Kuro goes to school with some people like Kurumi.

 

Today was Tuesday, he sat on a bench outside with several textbooks and some assignments. Kuro was studying for the final exams that were...tomorrow. Using her Concealment, Kurumi sat beside Kuro. What a terrible mistake that was. Kuro imminently moved positions and accidentally hit Kurumi, making her ability vanish until she activates it.

"S-Sorry Kurumi!!" He exclaimed, scooting away from her for a second.

"It's okay Kuro." She responded back.

"You scared me..." Kuro sighed.

"I always scare you." Kurumi said seriously.

"What would you like Kurumi?" He asked, looking at her.

"Come to the Komae Apartments after school gets out. Building three, room 107. That will be out meeting place for the Mekakusuki. The apartment used to be my sisters but she's going to be moved out today around the time school gets out. Once she moves out, the apartment is mine." Kurumi said, handing Kuro a letter.

Kuro wasn't the only one to receive this letter. All of the Mekakusuki Dan got a letter like this.

 

"To: Mekakusuki Dan Member

 

Hello, my name is Kurumi Himura. I am a NEET and am not normal. Why am I not normal? I have an ability. It's called Eye Concealment. It blocks others from seeing me unless someone touches me, or knows me.

 

The reason why you were given this letter is because you might have a similar ability. If you do NOT have an ability, you still must come.

 

In my concealment and stalking of mysterious people, I have discovered that there are other people like us. They just want to ruin us though. They want to kill us.

 

We are going to stop these people.

 

Come to the Komae Apartments after school gets out. Building three, room 107. That will be out meeting place for the Mekakusuki Dan.

Kurumi glared at Dagon.

"Nobody here would let you shoot me. You shouldn't be saying that to your leader you know." she snapped.

Kuro nodded.

"Kurumi is right." he said seriously. 

Kuro's house was in sight.

Dagon looked at her oddly "what do you mean my 'leader'" he said while he adjusted the body that was slung over his shoulder

"Obviously you have some type of eye ability. I know you do....and if you do....then you are permitted to joining the Dan. You did help us. So why not?" Kurumi said seriously.

"It would be nice...wouldn't it?" She asked.

Dagon sighed "i guess...but i'm not telling my life story" he said. "or why i wear the mask..." he felt the gas mask that hid his face from the others.

"Finally!" said Luke as they were finally at Kuro's house, Luke was getting a bit tired from carrying Kurumi around with an injury "Hey Dragon..is it? I'm Luke & you'll have to forgive Kurumi, She can be a bit of a handful at times, hahaha" said Luke glad to see someone help his group out. Luke Then walked up to the front door to Kuro's house "Hey Kuro, can you open the door for me?, I can't open it as I've got Kurumi in my arms pal" said Luke.  

Dagon turned the door handle for him "it's Dagon...and there you go" he said as he opened the door and let everyone in. "i have a small amount of medical knowledge so i can do some basic procedures..." he continued 

Kuro opened the door rather quickly.

"Sit everyone down where you can." He said seriously before getting his mother.

In a couple of minuets, Kuro and his mother came in the main room where everyone was. His mother held he antidote in her hand.

"Who needs this the most?" She asked.

"I believe he does" Dagon pointed to the most poisoned person in the group

(Most of them are poisoned....so who exactly are you talking about?)

(sorry i joined late and i don't know who is poisoned...so i guess who ever is the most poisoned)

Dagon pointed to the body on his shoulder "Him.." he said

Kuro's mother nodded, opening the antidote and pouring some of it into Claude's mouth. She gave some to Yuki, Zed, Kurumi, Luke, Kyro, and Dagon. They have been around the apartment so they might have gotten some of it in there system, but the antidote would kill it soon enough.

"A lot of you are hurt..." She said sadly.

Kuro sighed.

"Sadly..." he added.

"I didn't get any of the action...." Dagon said "If i were there earlier i may have been able to have saved more people..." he added

"Don't go beating yourself up about it Dagon, I'm sure even you would have had a hard time fighting them off" said Luke as he was now resting on the couch in the main room. Luke then took off his jacket & white shirt to get a better look at his wound on his shoulder "Hmm..I'd better fix this up before it gets any worse" said Luke. Luke then got up off the couch & walked over into the bathroom grabbing the first aid kit that was there & sat down on a bathroom stool, Luke grabbed some bandages & stuff to clean his wound "Man, how could one dagger to the shoulder leave a wound this bad" said Luke to himself. Luke then tried to bandage his wound up but found it hard to do as he was not only hurt but wasn't much of a first aids person either "Darn these bandages!" said Luke annoyed "Next time I meet that Kana I'll be sure not to get a dagger in the shoulder again, hahaha" said Luke giving a little laugh out of the blue.

 

Meanwhile somewhere in a secret place, someone who has been resting from their eye operation has finally awakened from their deep sleep. The door that was locked to the dark room was unlocked & the stranger that was wearing a black coat walked out of the dark room "Finally I can now use this eye for it's true purpose" said the stranger in black. the stranger in black still had his bandages covering his eyes, but since he hadn't used his eyes for so long he's senses had become much better as he could hear Kana's foot steps in the secret base "Kana, Did I miss anything while I was asleep?" said the stranger in black.

"We raid the Mekakushi while you were gone. One of them hurt me, but I'm okay now." Kana said seriously.

"They should be killed, most of them anyway." she said seriously.

 

(I'm just going to sum this up so it doesn't take six post)

 

After a couple of hours, everyone was fixed up. Kurumi was soundlessly asleep and was moved to Kuro's bed. Kuro was a bit tired and his mother fell back asleep.

 

(That was easier to sum up then I would think it would be)

Dagon looked around "Anyone have something we can do...i'm deathly bored" he sighed

Kuro looked at Dagon.

"Kurumi said yesterday that we would be training....but I guess we can't now because of her condition, and everyone else's condition....we won't be able too." He said seriously.

"But whatever you do, don't go outside. We don't know what could stop us." He said with a snap.

He smirked "Are you even sure there's anything out there?" he asked

"No. But I have a good feeling the Azami is still watching." Kuro snapped.

"I bet Kurumi would say not to go out there...." he sighed.

"well.." Dagon said "If i had a weapon i could kill anyone...anything..." he said to Kuro

"But still. It's not safe out there. If we meet someone like that Malacoda guy again....we could be killed this time." Kuro said seriously.

"So would you just listen to me for once?" He asked.

"Fine..." Dagon said "but i'm leaving later to get my weapons..." he continued

"That's okay then." Kuro said seriously.

He stood up.

"I'm going to go find somewhere to sleep since Kurumi has my bed...." He said before walking off.

Dagon stood up "I'm going to come with you" he said "i too need some sleep" he said to Kuro
