Have you ever had something that you couldn't make go away? Kinda like a burden....but not really. Like maybe a medical disorder or something. What if was an ability? An "Eye Ability". This is story of a group of kids with these abilities before they leave for summer vacation.

 

The "Eye Abilities":

 

Concealment: (Kurumi Himura)

"Hiding One's Eyes" ability. Can divert perception towards objects and even people within 2 meters of herself/himself and/or her/his surroundings, rendering them invisible. Conversation while being hidden also won't be heard by outsiders. Physical contact, however, breaks the effect, so it isn't useful in very crowded places; as well, if a person outside the 2 meter bubble is familiar with someone being concealed, the power will not be as strong. The ability works more by preventing people from recognizing those being hidden, rather than making them unable to be seen. She has practiced to control her ability perfectly and to not disappear suddenly. If unpracticed, the user could disappear suddenly.

 

Illusion: (Dagon Valefar)

To "Deceive One's Eyes". It can change what people around him see and show them something different, but he/she can only use it on himself/herself, means he/she cannot change appearances of others, etc.

 

Analysis and Animal Communication: (Code "Zed")

"Eye-Stealing" ability, which allows him/her to read information from the target. The user can also speak to animals using his/her eye ability.

 

Paralysis: (Luke)

The "Eye Contact" ability. It allows her/him to temporarily stop the movement of whoever meets the users gaze. It is not as she/her is not able to turn people into stone, but to more "freeze" them for a little while.

 

Captivation: (Yuki Saimin)

Known as "Eye Attention", can draw peoples' attention, regardless of their preferences in tastes or interests.

 

Focusing: (Claude Turner)

"Eye Focusing". It has the power to perceive objects and details that are far away from an aerial view.

 

Awakening: (Gideon Thrath)

Awakening Eyes", gives him/her the ability to remake their body into one that he/she finds to be his "ideal"(NOTHING COMPLETELY OFF THE WALL OR YOU WILL BE THROWN). However, this put a large strain on the users mind, and causes him/her to lose part of their memory. Not complete amnesia.

Those whom posses the abilities are called the "Mekakushi Dan". Even though some who have joined do not posses power.

 

 

 

Rules:

1) The major rule is this; please enjoy yourself.

2) Stick around as much as you can--the more that everyone posts the more the story can advance, so have a good time and don't be afraid to have your character make some strange or interesting decisions, it will only make the RP more interesting. Interact with other people.

3) Don't over do your abilities.

4) Go with the flow. People will make their own choices and the story will encounter a few twists and turns. It's more interesting when characters have to deal with thus twists naturally.

Kurumi has always hate her ability. That second her mother died, nobody seemed to see her until Kurumi actually touched someone. Her ability is why she became a NEET. She uses it not to be seen in her house...even though Concealment is weaker around those who know the person using it. She has only let one person see her, his name is Kuroto...or Kuro. Kuro has lately been traumatized by a woman who calls herself Kana.

 

Kana is like Kurumi....but not. Kana can see Kurumi when Kurumi used her ability. Kana is out to kill her for just having the ability. Kurumi ask herself why sometimes, but can never answer why.

 

School is ending this week, and summer is right around the corner. With this being the last week of School, Kurumi is out and about. Kuro has no choice but to go to school along with others. Little does he know, Kuro goes to school with some people like Kurumi.

 

Today was Tuesday, he sat on a bench outside with several textbooks and some assignments. Kuro was studying for the final exams that were...tomorrow. Using her Concealment, Kurumi sat beside Kuro. What a terrible mistake that was. Kuro imminently moved positions and accidentally hit Kurumi, making her ability vanish until she activates it.

"S-Sorry Kurumi!!" He exclaimed, scooting away from her for a second.

"It's okay Kuro." She responded back.

"You scared me..." Kuro sighed.

"I always scare you." Kurumi said seriously.

"What would you like Kurumi?" He asked, looking at her.

"Come to the Komae Apartments after school gets out. Building three, room 107. That will be out meeting place for the Mekakusuki. The apartment used to be my sisters but she's going to be moved out today around the time school gets out. Once she moves out, the apartment is mine." Kurumi said, handing Kuro a letter.

Kuro wasn't the only one to receive this letter. All of the Mekakusuki Dan got a letter like this.

 

"To: Mekakusuki Dan Member

 

Hello, my name is Kurumi Himura. I am a NEET and am not normal. Why am I not normal? I have an ability. It's called Eye Concealment. It blocks others from seeing me unless someone touches me, or knows me.

 

The reason why you were given this letter is because you might have a similar ability. If you do NOT have an ability, you still must come.

 

In my concealment and stalking of mysterious people, I have discovered that there are other people like us. They just want to ruin us though. They want to kill us.

 

We are going to stop these people.

 

Come to the Komae Apartments after school gets out. Building three, room 107. That will be out meeting place for the Mekakusuki Dan.

After a while Luke's shoulder was all patched up with bandages & he had taken a shower to relax. Luke later come out of the bathroom half dressed (Top half) as he forgot to take his jacket & white shirt from the main room into the bathroom with him, Luke was walking down the hall with a towel over his head rubbing it with both hands trying to dry his hair off a bit "MAN that feels much better" said Luke feeling all relaxed. Luke then removed the towel from over his head seeing Kuro & Dagon walk past him down the hall, Luke turned saying "you guys going to bed? I believe I saw two spare rooms, ones to your left & the other is to the right at the end of the hall. I'll be sleeping on the couch as it felt way more comfortable to me then any bed, haha" Luke had a smile on his face as he turned his back walking back into the main room seeing his jacket & white shirt on the arm rest on the couch.

 

Luke got himself a cold drink of water taking a sip from his cup of cold water, Luke later on laid on the couch staring at the ceiling with all the lights turned off now. Luke was thinking about his sister & everyone he had met so far, mainly thinking of Kurumi, Dagon & Kana "Why Would Kana refuse my help?...maybe it's a personal thing?...I wonder why Kana feels the way she does?...& the new guy, Dagon, I wonder why he wears that gas mask? he showed up quite suddenly...he seems like he's a good person but I wonder if he's hiding anything?.....& Kurumi, oh Kurumi, I love you....wonder if you love me....haha" said Luke to himself in the dark of the main room. Luke's face then turned red "I can't believe she heard me say that I love her, I'm so embarrassed. Maybe she won't bring it up tomorrow" said Luke afraid of what Kurumi would say to him about him loving her.      

 

Meanwhile in the secret place, After Kana said that they had raided the Mekakushi the stranger wearing the black coat slowly walked towards Kana. After Kana said that most of the Mekakushi should be dead, the stranger in black was next to Kana a this point, then out of the blue the stranger grabbed Kana by the throat lifting her off the floor saying to her "You better hope the one named Luke wasn't killed" before letting Kana go from his grip. the stranger in black walked over towards the exit door "I'm leaving Kana, your in charge if I don't come back....I'm gonna see the powers of the Mekakushi for myself & to see if their worth possessing their eye powers. Cause if not...." said the stranger in black about to leave the secret place.

Dagon walked to the door on the left "Night" he said before shutting and locking the door behind him. You could hear him taking his coat off, followed by the sound of rubber being dragged on skin, then a pop, Bad breathing sounds only came from the room after he had climbed into bed.dagon had taken his mask off...

Kurumi woke up rather quickly the next morning. Realizing she was in Kuro's bed. She slowly stood. Her wounds hurt her a bit, but she'll be okay. Activating her eye ability, she walked out of the house, and towards her old house. Her father would be asleep, she she'd have to be quiet.

In about thirty minuets, Kurumi was back at Kuro's house. She'd had a shower and was wearing a fresh pair of clothes. Her being the leader of this stupid group, it was her job to wake everyone up. However, Kurumi didn't wake anyone up. She stayed silent, deactivating her ability and sitting on the ground beside the couch.

A bit later Dagon cracked his door and looked around the hall,seeing if anyone was there "it looks clear" he said and he stepped out and ran into the bathroom,leaving most of his clothes behind,including his mask...

Kurumi sat up once she realized someone awoke. She walked down the hall and opened the room with the cracked door, stepping inside she realized who's room it was. She grinned seeing that stupid gas mask. Dagon was probably going to kill her for this, but she can't let anyone have their secrets. She walked over to the gas mask, picking it up and walking out of the room with it. Using her concealment, she grabbed some matches and walked back over to her fathers house, assuming nobody would notice her pm and she burned Dagon's mask. He would find out eventually. But he couldn't do anything too her. Not with Luke, Claude, Kuro, and Zed around.

Dagon looked and ran back into his room and got dressed, but he couldent find his mask where the hell did i put it? he asked himself. he eventually gave up "damn!" he shouted in rage

(Tee Hee.)

 

Kurumi sighed as the fire burned out.

"I might as well stay here for a while...if father sees me....then...." She didn't even finish her sentence.

"He'll try to kill me or something...."

Dagon looked for a plan B, he took bandages from his back pack and wrapped them all around his face except for his right eye, "it's good...for now.." he said still angry 

It was morning now & Luke could hear somebody talking which woke him up "mm..wha...what time is it?" said Luke as he slowly opened his eyes. Luke soon got off & stood up from laying on the couch "*Yawn* man what a night. I wonder who's up & awake" said Luke as he pull on his white shirt & jacket. Luke then walked over to the kitchen getting himself some breakfast cereal & a glass of orange juice "Yum, yum" said Luke as he started eating his breakfast. Luke was a fast eater & had already eaten his breakfast in no time flat, Luke then wondered why no one had come into the kitchen to get their breakfast yet "Hmm...where is everyone? I know I hear some voices a moment ago" said Luke "HEY DAGON, KURO & KURUMI! YOU GUYS UP YET?!" yelled Luke as he's voice echoed down the hall & through the house.

 

Meanwhile in the secret place, The stranger in black had left there secret base to find the Mekakushi group leaving Kana in charge if he doesn't return (this person in black will be a very strong opponent for the Mekakushi to defeat. Hope we're ready for it :wacko:)

Dagon looked at the door ,and walked out of it and into the kitchen silently he turned and looked at luke. "Yes..?" he asked him, he looked at luke with his eye, it was purple.

Kuro was already up, stepping into the kitchen.

"Where is Kurumi....? I haven't seen her..." He said seriously.

Dagon looked at Kuro "have you seen my mask..?" he asked both of them

"Oh, good, I thought I was all alone for a seconded" said Luke as he stared at Dagon's bandaged up face. Then Kuro entered the kitchen asking where is Kurumi. Luke then looked at Kuro saying "What do you mean where is Kurumi? isn't Kurumi sleeping in your bed?" Luke then heard Dagon asking if Luke or Kuro had seen his mask anywhere "I thought you looked different today Dagon & no I haven't seen your mask anywhere. Wait a sec" said Luke as he began to put the pieces together "If Kurumi isn't in Kuro's bed & Dagon's mask is gone, then that means...nah" thought Luke as he just shook his head hopping that Kurumi was still in Kuro's bed. Luke then turned his head to Dagon saying 'Hey Dagon, I noticed you have a purple eye. not many people have purple eyes did ya know that?"

Dagon looked away from them "Never talk about my FACE" he shouted in anger . He then abruptly left the kitchen and slammed the door to his room shut behind him.

Kuro shook his head.

"She's not I'm my bed because I had to go to my bedroom to get changed. And if anyone has Dagon's mask, it's Kurumi. She knows better then to go back to the apartment. The only place she could be is her old house with that mask. She probably did something to it knowing her." Kuro said seriously.

"Luke, we are going to go to Kurumi's old house. But since her father thinks she is dead....we will have to be stealthy." He said with a small smile.

(Correct me if i'm wrong on this post...)

 

Kyouji entered the Azami's Base as he was walking the corridors."Looks like this is the place.....i hope i can get along well to others..."Kyouji said as he start heading to his own Bedroom with his bags and enter the room...

After Dagon had walked off into his bedroom Luke's face gave a confused look "Did I say something wrong?" said Luke all confused about what just happened. Luke then heard what Kuro had said about Kurumi being at her old house "Darn it Kurumi, I was hopping you'd still be here. Guess I'd just tricked myself into thinking Kurumi wouldn't steal Dagon's mask" thought Luke "Ok Kuro! kets go get Kurumi back, & we better get Dagon's mask back too" said Luke to Kuro.

Kuro nodded. Rather quickly, he started walking towards the door.

"Come on Luke." He said rather seriously.

As Kyouji has finish put his things on his Room,he began to sit at his bed with exhausted."Phew,all done.....now then,Better go to the Kitchen,since i didn't eat it ever since i got here..."Kyouji said as he leave the room and headed to the Kitchen to get some grab on.
