Ive been playing KH1FM all day now and right now I am at level 15. Only problem is I haven't learned scan yet. I chose the shield for my starting weapon and everywhere I read says players who choose shield learn scan when they reach level 12. Am I missing something here? It's really annoying trying to fight these early bosses without knowing if I'm even putting a dent in their health bar.

 

Please tell me if I'm missing something or if you guys run into any similar problems.

In KH you get Scan at level 12 with the Shield, but in Final Mix you have to reach level 21 to get that ability if you chose the Shield

Ohhhh okay gotcha. Now I feel silly haha.

If you sacrifice the shield, you get it at level 8, I believe? Or 9. It's when I got it today picking those two options.

If you're referring to Sora not making any sounds during his attacks, he just doesn't grunt during the tutorial. And so far there is no voice acting during the newly added scenes.

Also. Some of the cutscense use the lowrez faces and its kinda...annoying...

It's supposed to have voices, yes.
