So, Axel and Saïx are voiced by Quinton Flynn and Kirk Thornton, respectively. Silver and Shadow are both voiced by those VAs respectively as well. Silver and Shadow were originally enemies, but are now allies. Vice versa for Axel and Saïx. Saïx is a lot more serious and darker than Axel, Shadow is like that too (though Silver is still pretty serious). I knew that Quinton Flynn voices Silver (but only as of 2010; i.e. not in Sonic 06), but I was not aware of the rest of the details. That is very interesting.
