So I just went on a trip to a place called Valley Fair. Some of you may know it. Some of you may not. If not, it's an amusement park, with tons of great rides, and during Halloween, they make it into a, fittingly enough, Halloween theme, with haunted houses and hat not. And now I'll give all the info about my trip. Starting with rides, and each house gets their own category.
Rides: All of them still fantastic as ever. Though I think the wow factor is lost for me, since I can now do a sarcastic "wheeeeee" the entire way through
Valley High School: Cliche zombie high school. It was alright, but like most of these, way too many strobe lights.
Chateau du Damne: Skipped it from experience from last year, and just went on one of the rides. It was that bad. It was just a cliche vampire den, with once again, strobe lights.
The Asylum: Cliche asylum? Yeah. Bad? Of course not! My personal favorite of the bunch. Crazy people, put in a creative way. Also, one of the only ones that didn't abuse strobe lights.
The Slaughterhouse: Cliche slaughterhouse. It was just "meh". Though it did have a nice scale to it. Though, once again, strobe lights.
London Terror: Cliche London horror setting...wat? But seriously though, it was once again, "meh", though it was pretty cool. Everyone looked like they were from Bioshock or Fallout, though...It was still alright. Also didn't abuse strobe lights TOO much...(For the record, this replaced one of the pirate horror attractions from last year, which was a step up. I knew that one would be bad from the start, because the guy at the game mistook my bro for a girl.)
Carnevil: One of the only ones I didn't go on, but I wish I did. Great basically everything, and would definitely be my favorites...if it weren't for the strobe lights.
Yeah, a lot of strobe lights. I know. Even still, it was a lot of fun, and I do plan on going there plenty of times again!
