Actually,and for the first time since Johto,the anime this time might look promising.

 

The first episode might start with a blast especially when I saw Ash against Mega Garchomp.

 

And Unlike Best Wishes,I might watch the X & Y season until the end if it turned out to be decent

What happened to the Pokemon Master Dream when he got sad after losing the Kanto league?Winning once won't prevent him from going to other regions

 

But I digress,I kinda have hope for the X & Y season,but I'll pretty much but all my faith in Pokemon origins

You know what?  It's kinda pointless that we wine about Ash's age.  Have any of the Simpsions aged?  I mean Maggie's been a baby for decades.

I'm not even sure if I would watch the anime, im more excited about Origins than the XY anime. But I think it would be the same.

Ash is a winner! He won the Orange League!

 

I don't care that much, unlike most fans of the series, that Ash doesn't win. It's kinda nice to see that the Champions have that title for a reason, and that there are good trainers out there except for your rival. Though I admit it's frustraing he hasn't won any league yet...

 

But something i'm really looking forward is his aging! Not because "it bothers me because he's been on a journey for so long" and etc, but because it would be cool to see him more mature and on a journey where he doesn't do the same mistakes he always make when he starts another journey. Just like Sora, I'm really looking forward a more mature protagonist

I usually only pay attention to the anime if there's a gym battle in the episode or if he's at the Pokemon League where its mostly battles. Contests are usually cool too

That's a cartoon. Pokemon is anime. Not to mention anime is knowing to at least have a time skip, heck Naruto, One Piece have them and they've been running for quite a while.Btw I'm just quoting what the narrator is going to say; same old story, same old goal, same old Team Rocket, etc. (I know BW did have a change with TR, but it's back to the same thing from what I heard)What Antonio said is spot on. The guy has to mature, which clearly he barley (if at all) hasn't. Then there's his ignorance, although I guess that can be excused for the audience, except catching a Pokemon without hurting it. (I don't remember what season he did this after 1)

If Ash was to lose every tournament,at least they should have him gain experience and wisdom from it,not repeat the same mistakes over & over again

 

Hell,he almost forgot how to properly catch a Pokemon right when he tried to catch Pidove in Unova

I couldn't believe what I saw that day.....after filling Oak's farm with 30 Tauros and endless amount of Pokemon,now he forget how to catch??

 

Again,the age is the least of my concerns,a lot of characters don't age:Mario doesn't age,some anime characters can be ageless depending on the story.

 

My biggest problem with Ash is:he completely and absolutely forgot the goal of becoming a Pokemon Master.

 

Heck,THAT'S THE NAMESAKE OF THE OPENING THEME SONG:To be the very best like no one ever was.

 

He literally lost every single regional league,and after each league he left is old Pokemon and stop giving a f,uck about them.....what a douche trainer

 

Every episode after Hoenn is a disgrace to the awesome theme song that should've been in the games instead of the anime.
